The colors, the textures, the lighting, and music are on full display but not in an overwhelming way...more in an immersive way that makes you feel like you've walked into a different atmosphere. Our server Luz was very present and helpful throughout the entire evening. She assisted in selecting dishes and was always just a step away when we needed something. Before the night started they give you a little cup filled with cooked corn kernels. If you know the super crunchy kernels at the bottom of popcorn bags, now imagine a cup of them! Imagine a large square iron dish with a mound of steak, chicken, shrimp, and pork belly with a bunch of vegetables like sprouts, onions, bell peppers, and garlic. The dish was super fresh with a very mild sauce but what made is awesome was that every single thing was cooked to it's own perfect level. Four kinds of meat all cooked perfectly, multiple kinds of veggies all cooked perfectly the rice was kinda basic but it didn't matter! For our anniversary they also gave us a complimentary caramel cheesecake that was also really good and let us taste their house cinnamon pisco...Fire! in a good way! During dinner, they also had a photographer walking around and taking pictures that are then printed and put in a nice case.
