It did take a considerably long time about 30/35 minutes for our food. I think they lost our order through others at the time, so I was glad I went up to check in on it. We got the brisket bowl which you can get with noodles or fried rice for $19. The portion size is quite large and enough to share. I do think the noodles were a tad bit greasier than id prefer. I'm obsessed with the Pig Floyd's sandwich but I wanted to tried one of their new bowls. I'd say they are okay, maybe it's just my choice of noodles. I do think this location will be nice once they are quicker with service. They also have a drive through which is a nice plus if you wanna pick it up!

The cafeteria set up allowed us to see what we were ordering as we walked along and said or pointed at what we wanted. I tried using some of my limited Spanish vocabulary to order our food. We had three plates of food with Fried Rice style rice, Mofongo, Beef, Tostones and Fried Sweet Plantains. For dessert we ordered a White Chocoflan (I don't know if that is the current name) and to drink Passion Fruit Juices. The food was okay. Didn't taste bad but was just okay. The food trays were generously portioned and worth the price - approximately $14. The Passion Fruit Juice was delicious. As one of my favorite juices, I had high expectations. It did not disappoint. I love Chocoflan and only have eaten homemade Chocoflans. This White Chocoflan was delicious. It was not too sweet. Both sides complimented each other well and had a good balance of flavor and texture. We were able to order and pay for our food and drinks in a reasonable time. There is ample parking and indoor seating available for dining in.

Upon entering this restaurant I knew that the food was going to be great, because it smelled so good! This restaurant is severed cafeteria style, where you go down the line with different dishes of prepared food on display before you, behind protective glass. A team member on the other side with the food, assists you be gathering together what you point to, as you go down the line. Then they put the food that you pick out into a "to go" container. At the end of the line, you pay for your food at the cash register. Just to make a sure you are aware, a tip is automatically added onto your check when you get to the register. This caught my friend by surprise, because she wasn't aware the tip was included in the receipt until it was too late, and she already paid. You are asked if you want a beverage with your order at the register. You can request a cup of tap water with a lid at this point, but if you don't specify that you want tap water, they may automatically charge you for a bottle of water. They give you plastic silverware with napkins with your meal container. After you pay for your food, you either seat your self at one of their available booths, or you take food with you to go. I got the chicken with white cheese, along with the beans and rice, and I also got some fried plantains. My friend got two dishes with pork and another dish that I can't remember what she called it. My food was so delicious! My friend loved her food as well! The atmosphere here is loud fun. I thoroughly enjoyed the music that they were playing. They also have several large TV's hung from the ceiling. that are playing shows, but I didn't see any closed captioning. The restrooms appear to be just one stall for men, and one stall for woman, and they were kept clean. After I sat down I did see a couple of house flys hanging around our booth. I did see on the wall a sign that said they deliver, but it also said that the minimum order cost for delivery was $300. I'm not sure if this restaurant also partners with meal delivery services. The restaurant is definitely a great place to go and have lots of delicious food! It is also a great place to escape the Florida heat for a little while, as it is kept nice and cool and comfortable inside.

This is an upscale Latin American fusion vibe. The portions are very middle of the road - not a lot of food for the price, but the presentation and attention to detail makes up for that. The Arugula Salad was very fresh and flavorful and that dish was enough for two people to share as an appetizer/side salad. The raviolis and langosta were beautiful and complemented each other very well. The Tres Leches was again very beautifully presented and tasty, but I probably wouldn't order it again (a little too dry and too sweet for me). The seafood tasted fresh and the portions were pretty generous. We also got a sangria, and that was probably my favorite part. It was SO good. Definitely one of those sangrias where you're like, "okay, I'll have another one." Honestly, I liked everything we ordered. However, I was told by my partner that I am easily impressed. My only suggestion is to eat it there if you can. I took some home thinking I'd have great leftovers, but the food just wasn't quite the same the next day. Some things are just better fresh, and I think this is one of those places. You order and pay at the counter. The daily specials are on a blackboard. The regular menu is on the wall above where you order. The man behind the counter was most patient with all of us trying to figure out what we wanted. For the table, we started with chicharonnes. The fried pork skin/pork belly was the best I'd ever had. The outside skin was perfectly crisped and there was enough meat inside each piece to satisfy. We also shared an order of sorullitos. I'd never had these before. They were long cylinders of fried corn meal fritters. Both dishes were served fresh and piping hot. The kids both ordered Cuban sandwiches and wound up eating only half as it was a large portion. One side came with the sandwich and they both had tostones. The adults tried pernil (roast pork), ropa vieja (shredded beef), shrimp in garlic sauce, and chicken stew (pollo guidado). Each main dish came with two sides. The yellow rice with pigeon peas (gandules) was a popular choice. The sweet plantains were caramelized and very sweet. The tostones were fresh -- crisp on the outside and soft inside. We had four take home boxes. And too full for dessert. If you're looking for great Puerto Rican cuisine in this area, don't be put off by the casual surroundings. The food here is wonderful.
