Went with a bunch of girlfriends for brunch. Although it was mostly empty, our server was so slow with drinks, two of us went to the bar to reorder. Food came out slowly and in stages (we didn't get to eat together). Mine was cold. This place is too expensive for such subpar food and service. I'd give no stars if I could. read more

Everything was awful especially the food. Waited a long time and the staff was just talking to each other. Will not go back!

The French pop music playing in the background set the tone for this lively French restaurant. The food was delicious and the service was very good. Hostess and waitress were extremely pleasant and went out of their way to make sure our party of six were attended to. I definitely recommend this place! read more

If you are on a low salt diet, DO NOT EAT HERE! Dined at La Grange this evening. Was promptly seated and greeted by our server. The service was very good; no complaints. The drinks were phenomenal and arrived quickly. Our meal started with escargot which we found to be overcooked and bland. The gratin potatoes were creamy but under seasoned. The salmon en croute was excellent! Ordered the beef bourguignon. The mashed potatoes were barely warm and the beef was extremely over salted! The dish was sent back. I offered my server two choices as a replacement. The server stated she would choose the entree that had the least amount of salt. It was replaced by steak frites. The frites were over salted. The steak was also very salty and tough. The manager suggested perhaps a sauce would cut down on the salt flavor. Ok, worth a try. By this time my companion had already finished his meal. I was brought a buerre blanc sauce. Nice try. They must have used salted butter and then added salt to the sauce. Several hours later and all I can taste is salt, feels like my tongue has been pickled. Yes, I understand you haven't been open too long. However, the recipes should have been tested and your kitchen people should have been thoroughly trained how to prepare these recipes. The amount of salt used may have been acceptable to a person who is a smoker and has deaden their taste buds. The menu looks almost identical to Parc in Philadelphia. But alas, not up to par on their French cuisine. So sad... read more

Excellent drink selection, food was okay, and the waitress was very sweet but I was extremely turned off by the rude attitude of the girls working the front. Gave us an up and down sneer and then hid us at a back table because we were causally dressed. Service was slow despite there only being a few customers and (other than the French onion soup) our food was under seasoned. After this was mentioned to the waitress, all subsequent dishes were then extremely over seasoned to the point that we barely ate. La grange is very new and needs time to work through opening issues and find their flavor. Between the rude greeting and mid food I don't think we will be returning. read more

2nd time dining here. First time was for dinner and as a newly opened restaurant I could understand the weak spots. Today I went for brunch hoping the food would be better after a good two months after opening. Was very disappointed. We were a party of five and unfortunately the whole table had the same thoughts. Drinks are definitely a 10/10 ! Vibe 9/10 food 5/10 service 5/10. I really hope the chef turns it around a bit because the place def has potential to become a staple of fine dining and drinks especially in yardly. Will try again in a few months. read more

wonderful dinner and drinks. Lamb shanks and the bolognese. French blonde drink absolutely delicious. Outstanding service too.

Food was mediocre at best. Presentation was poor. Flatbread was ugly and cheese plate was uninspired and basic. Main course plates looked like they sat under a warmer for a long time. Coq a vin was brown/black and looked very unappetizing. Drinks were decent but overpriced - white sangria for $16 with CANNED peach slices this time of year? read more

I have eaten at LaGrange several times, but, improvement is definitely needed. I have been to France, and I know French food. I am also a former server in various high end restaurants, the server's are very sweet, and do their best to accomodate, but they are young and not very experienced. For example, I asked for a spoon for my tea, and they bring me a large soup spoon. For 2 cups of tea, 1 pot of water is not enough. It only fills 1 and 1/2 cup. We had no spoons on table when we sat down, we had to ask for it. The baquettes were a bit too hard, and were served with no herbs or oil. The herb omelet is excellent. Very tasty. I am hoping the options do expand. The yogart parfait was good along with the fruit dish. Sam is a sweetheart and I love that she is open to feedback. read more

La Grange - French Near Me - Yardley, Pennsylvania

Our Saturday evening reservation was 7:15. When we arrived, our table was not ready so we went to the bar to get a drink. We were lucky to get 2 seats as the entire place was packed and super loud. After we were finishing our drinks, still no one came to get us. We decided to order some apps as it was almost 8:00. The escargot was 5/10, bland with barely any garlic or buttery herbs. The beef tartar had no flavor at all. At this point it's 8:30 and still no one came for us so we ordered a dinner to share, Coq au van chicken. This dish had decent flavor but not enough sauce, if any. This dish always comes with gravy and deep rich flavors from slow cooking. Having a conversation is hard as it's very loud. The place is huge and decor is very "French Bistro" appealing but no sound barriers. Bartenders were friendly and wonderful. As we were leaving, I stopped at the front dest to tell the 4 hostesses that we were never called from the bar and already had our dinner there. All I got was a lot of shoulder shrugging and blank stares. I hope this novelty in Bucks County improves and people don't start to loose interest. We needed a place like this but it needs to be center city quality food not diner food. Good Luck! We will try back in a few months to see if there is any hope. Irena C read more

We came for brunch on Sunday, had a Herb Omlett, which was excellent, but it came with mashed potatoes. Instead, it would be nice to add a red roasted potatoe or asparagus. More options. The music in bar is great, but slightly loud for brunch. Maybe amplifier can be turned down a bit. There was no baguettes on the menu. There was no spoons or sugar on table. Service was slow. Bread was not warm and it was hard. They said they could not heat bread. The servers are sweet but don't seem very experienced. Tea being $8, is too high. I suggested French lavender on the bar or on some of the tables. I also suggested expanding the food menu. For dessert, French love their cheesecake with either cherries or blueberries. Ease up on salt for the sauces. I will be back once things are updated. Restaurant is beautiful. read more

We hosted our baby shower here yesterday last Saturday, and I cannot recommend this venue and staff enough! From the moment we walked in, the staff went above and beyond to help set up and make sure the guests were taken care of. The staff were attentive, kind, and really made sure the event flowed seamlessly. In addition, the food was all delicious and the portion sizes were big. We did family style and everyone mentioned how delicious the food was with such variety. They were also super accommodating and made pink macaroons for our desserts, per our request. I especially want to shout out Clint, Katrina, and Jess who went above and beyond to make the day extra special. They anticipated needs before we even had to ask, were quick to help with set-up and little details, and made our guests feel welcome and taken care of. Their warmth and professionalism truly stood out and made a huge difference. Planning a big event can feel overwhelming, but they made it effortless and enjoyable for us. We were able to just relax, celebrate with our loved ones, and soak in the special day. If you're looking for a place to host a meaningful event, I can't recommend this team enough. Thank you for helping us create such beautiful baby shower for our little one to come. read more

Stopped in for the first time. Beautiful restaurant with great views. I had the Nicoise Salad. It was big enough for three people. Outstanding. Service at the bar was stellar. Ill be back. Support our local restaurants. read more

Had a lovely birthday dinner with family at La Grange tonight . Warm and welcoming it's a comfortable and open space with a contemporary French bistro feel. Food was outstanding . We were happy to find all the classics like escargot and duck .Service was outstanding and the manager made a special stop by to say hello and to make sure everything was just right . We'll be back with friends . So happy to have this gem so close to home . read more

It's a beautiful restaurant, very nicely decorated space. I have lots of food allergies, the manager was kind enough to assure me of things I could safely eat. As I looked at the menu at home I wanted salmon but I couldn't get that one. I sent a note to the manager and was advised that the chef would save a piece of salmon and it could be grilled for me. It was presented beautifully with spinach and augraten potatoes. The salad was delicious and dressed perfectly. Others at the table ordered different things and were pleased as well. Sam was our server, and she did an excellent job with taking care of my food to make sure everything was perfect. She checked in often with the table and was attentive to every detail. The manager came by several times to make sure our meals, service and we were happy with everything At the end of the meal Sam brought over creame brulee with candles for our two birthday people. Delicious food, nice ambiance, service was perfect and attention to all details. Yes, we will be back again. Thank you for a lovely evening at LaGrange read more

Tables are way too small for the party. Some tables are situated with sun directly in diners face at sunset with no shades. Impossible to sit there. Music choice for French brasserie: 80s rock with Huey Lewis and the News as last selection. What are they thinking? Has potential but needs to redesign the interior: get new tables, make it more French! read more

We enjoyed lunch at The Grange on Friday. I was a little worried after reading some reviews but it exceeded my expectations by far. Great service (thank you Sam), beautiful environment and great food. We did a broad order of many of the dishes and not one bite that I didn't thoroughly enjoy!! Will be back for sure. read more

Perfect, unique addition to Bucks. We've been four times already! We keep coming back to bring new couples. The food is delicious and appetizer portions are great for sharing. The cocktails are creative and strong - definitely recommend the dessert drinks, too! Excited to attend my first event there, too - I am sure they do a wonderful job catering for group parties. Must try! read more

Came in for brunch and it was sooo good. Ashley was our server and she was top notch. Outdoor dining on the patio was lovely. Food was exceptional as were the cocktails - white sangria, Hugo spritz, escargot, french onion soup, croque madame, goat cheese and asparagus quiche. We left stuffed! Can't wait to come back and try the rest. Oh...beautiful restroom too! read more

This place is new , nicely decorated and friendly staff. The appetizers are okay, onion soup is too salty for me. The duck breast and steak are very chewy even they are medium and medium rare. I will come back to try one more time, maybe they are still new, their business is very good, the manager is super nice. read more

Decor is lovely. Staff was attentive and friendly without being overbearing. Food was delicious! We had shrimp cocktail, salmon en croute, and mussels. We also had dessert and that was good - probably room for improvement with the apple tart as the cinnamon mixture made it a little soupy (but would not stop me from ordering again). The Moulin Rouge cocktail was delicious and perfect for summer. Will definitely be back! read more

From the start of the evening to the end was great. The service from Karl was great very tentative. Food was great only negative was the escargot needed salt/ seasoning. The cheese board, trout and ribeye were on point!! Little tight seating wise but enough room to have space and not be in someone else's conversation. Definitely will be back soon. read more

Disappointed. Scargots forgettable, the tuna tartare, tasteless. The crab claws were good and nice flavor but you get 4 thumb size pieces on top of half a gallon of ice. Main courses, duck breast and fillet mignon both overspiced and unremarkable to put it mildly. You expect to pay a premium for a french like dining experience but the place and the food fall very short and no worthy the price tag. read more

We visited La Grange two weeks ago for happy hour. Gorgeous restaurant and bar. Friendly staff and great service with generous cocktails. We started with one of the daily cheeses and complementary bread (which was delicious). My husband ordered the beef bourguignon which was very tasty but a little small as a main entree, especially for the cost. I ordered the Niçoise salad. The dressing was lacking a bit in flavor and the serving plate was far too small for the large amount of lettuce and vegetables which kept rolling off on to the bar. Please put this on a larger dish! Despite these things, we do look forward to going back to enjoy the ambiance and to explore more of the menu. read more

Great food friendly efficient server, loud obnoxious music and tables too small for a party of four! Valet parking also a minus.

The food wasn't terrible, but wasn't great. The staff was extremely friendly, and inside was looks alright. I'll definitely say it's not worth the price. We were a party of 4 and and all agreed that the food wasn't terrible and would have been worth it if everything was $10-$15 cheaper. read more

The food is definitely not French tasting. How can a French restaurant not have baguette bread??? French onion soup too sweet, charcuterie board was lacking variety quality taste in the chicken and loaf. Not much else on the board. Service was good as were the drinks. read more

What kind of chef doesn't know how to make brown butter? Especially in a French restaurant; terrible food and terrible service. It took 35 minutes to get a drink.....AT THE F---ING BAR!!!!!!!How is that even possible? Management was no help, I seemed like they were busy apologizing to tables and couldn't actually do their jobs at managing the bar and dining room. For a place that is so expensive, they better get it together fast or they are doomed. read more

My husband & I dined @ La Grange last evening. It was my birthday so it was a special night. The restaurant was packed. When I made a reservation, I asked for a quieter seating area. Upon arrival, we were seated under the loud speaker. It was very loud music & the waitress asked for it to be lowered, which it was but still a bit too loud. The tables were arranged very close together. We thought the menu selection was very limited. We both ordered Steak, Rib Eye for my husband & I chose the smaller selection of steak, medium rare for both. Both dinners were overdone. The Rib Eye was flat, fatty & overdone. The waitress even commented saying she thought it was overdone & volunteered to return it. We both declined. The manager also came to our table & asked us how she could resolve this & again we declined. We were both anxious to leave & not wait any longer for our dinner. So overall, it was a very disappointing. read more

We had a party of five who ate at this brand new restaurant for the first time for Mother's Day dinner. We ordered lattes and cappuccino coffees all of which were really good. The women at the table ordered the duck entree and the men all ordered the beef burgundy stew over mashed potatoes. The flavors of all of the dishes were excellent however, the portion sizes could have been a little larger. Appetizers were what looked like deviled eggs, a small flatbread type appetizer and onion soups. The deviled eggs and flatbread appetizers were good and the onion soups had great flavor but contained a very small portion that could have used more broth in it. The cranberry and nut bread that was served was "out of this world" good! We actually asked if we could buy a loaf of it and were told they do not sell it. They did give us a few extra slices of the bread to bring home which was a nice touch. The restaurant has only been open for a week and it is beautiful and clean. It is going to be successful in my opinion and it will only get better once they fine tune the portion sizes. Also, the customer service at this restaurant is really good. The air conditioning was a little strong and could also use some fine tuning to get the environment to be a little less cold. Hostesses, waitresses, and waiters all were very attentive to the diners. Looking forward to our next visit. read more

The location is in a "restored barn", which sat on former farmland in Lower Makefield. As soon as you walk in you are greeted with a barrage of sound. Music playing and conversation made it hard to hear. We were originally sat at probably the worst table in the place. (Tucked next to the doorway to the kitchen) The hostess was accommodating and sat us at another table. Our server was great. The mocktails were good, but the food was mediocre at best. Kind of like an expensive Applebees of French food. We ordered escargot, shrimp and the egg appetizer to start. All was ok. My wife got the Coq Au Vin. It lacked favor, richness and the depth that you would expect from this classic dish. It was sauceless on the plate. Huge disappointment. My son enjoyed his trout, but the mashed potatoes were dry and bland. I tried the Croque Madam, which I loved when I was in France and other bistros in the states. It looked like a child's plate. Nothing creative or appetizing. It came with a side of fries which appeared to be from a frozen bag or shipped in from McDonald's. We skipped desert and left disappointed. We will not be back. read more
