Plato's Closet is very selective on what they select to "buy" from you if you are attempting to…read moresell your clothes. Definitely recommend looking at their instagram or Facebook page on what they are looking for in that current season. Example- they won't take dresses in the winter. You can only bring clothes in bins, reusable bags or laundry baskets. Do not bring it in garbage bags they will not accept it. You can drop off your clothes and show your driver's license and they will text you when they are done "buying." When you return, you can see what they chose to by and how much they would pay. At that point you can accept or deny it. They do give you a coupon to promote shopping at same day which is appreciated. I do understand as they need to make some profit on the items however I wish I was given more. If you are in the area, you can give it a try but I wouldn't make an extra trip here. I have had better luck selling on other websites.

My mom and I came to find a bridal shower outfit ! Cutest jump suit In my head I believed tandy girl was geared mostly to tweens and teenagers but it's for young adults as well , I wanted to buy everything in the store. They even had a Barbie section and my inner younger self was squeeling The decor is beautiful. I of course took photos of everything !! I've been shopping at Tandy Wear for many, many years and have always loved the store, the style,…read moreand the quality of clothing. I've also known the owner for years - she is a kind, respectable person who truly cares about her customers. However, over the past year or two, I've noticed a decline in customer service. There are a few sales associates whose approach often makes shopping uncomfortable. They seem eager to help younger women or those who fit the mold of a certain aesthetic, but if you don't, the experience changes. Instead of showing flattering pieces that could accentuate your positives, they tend to pull oversized items - with more of an appeasing "let's cover you up" attitude rather than talking to you positively about what could look good on you. Even when I share my preferences and typical size, I'm often presented with clothing that feels mismatched to what I've expressed I like. At this point, it feels less like a mistake and more like inexperience or a lack of understanding of how to style different body types. Additionally, hiring only sales staff who look and act "trendy" misses the mark when it comes to connecting with the broader demographic of women who should be embraced and celebrated as valued customers. It's too bad, because the clothes themselves are cute - but the experience has become so unpleasant that I will be taking this place off my list of places to shop.

I had a great experience and Chase was very knowledgeable and easygoing. No upselling, no nonsense. I walked out with a paddle brand I never heard of (!) I highly recommend the store. I love my new paddle!

5+ Star experience and shout out to Misha who was amazing!…read more We were greeted at the door and we explained that my son needed a suit for an upcoming wedding. I've never bought a suit so we were pretty lost. Misha took over. My sons only requirement was "nothing fancy" Yes I would have loved him in a very stylish suit but he vehemently refused. Misha got it all together for him including shoes, belt, tie, shirts and even socks! We were extremely happy! She made it so much easier than we thought it was going to be. She even picked out a flashy tie to make me happy and my son gave the ok on it. All in all I can 100% recommend Karako and especially Misha. (No pics, sorry, he was just too embarrassed)

Shoes and luggage. I…read morekeep forgetting that this place is here so having worn a hole through the bottom of my boat shoes, I decided to have a gander to see that they had. The place is much larger than expected from what you see outside - it just seemed to be cavernous to me. I found the rather large men's section to the right side of the store and headed in looking for the boat shoes. The selection of boat shoes was sparse - but the selection of every other type of shoe for a guy was outstanding. I really wasn't in the market for any other type of shoe though so I began to head back towards the front when I see a large selection of luggage. I have been traveling a lot lately and decide to take a look at what was available. After a few minutes of unzipping and unfolding a variety of different luggage types, I found a sweet combo set for a stupid low cost and headed off to pay. They also had men's accessories such as belts and wallets- in the event you need that sort of stuff. Naturally the female side of the house was about 2/3's larger than the men's side- So summing up: I went in for new boat shoes, I walked out with a new suitcase Parking in front.

I went back in yesterday and unfortunately he was the one to " help" me again. I asked him if he could look me up in the counter from a few months ago, and that I just wanted the same suit in a different color. He immediately and rudely snapped back " why would I do that , I know your size already ". He then proceeded to mis size me no less than 4 times which then unleashed a series of events. He walked away in the middle of helping me to help another customer, he passed gas while talking to me ( wish I was joking), he made a fat joke about another customer who was looking at some Hawaiian type button down shirts. Finally when it was time to remember he was helping me, he told me the pants for the suite I wanted after he argued with me about the color being what I asked for , when it was in fact not. The pants weren't in stock and he could not give me a concrete time for receiving them , and I was on a time crunch for getting the suite. I asked him if the pants were in stock at another store somewhere, I could just go there. His comment back was "'why would you do that , if the pants are in Kentucky would you go there to get them " At one point when he walked away from me another sales person tried to help , but had no clue where we left off before he farted and then left to help anther customer in the middle of helping me. So I just had to wait. That was the end for me. I told him I had no tolerance to play games or waste my time , he worked harder to be unhelpful and argumentative than it would have taken to just help me. I ended up walking out of the store which was by far the most convenient option being less than a mile from my home just to drive to another store to give them my business and to help me. It's a shame that someone like this represents the brand , as I will not step foot back in there as a customer ever again. Unprofessional, unwilling to use technology , and unwilling to listen to the customer who was asking for something very specific lost a customer as well as the other family members in the home that will be needing a suit in the future. Honestly he's an older gentleman and I could have gotten past him farting while talking to me if he had actually been even remotely helpful. Thank you to Lou and Jos A. Bank for wasting my morning turning what should have been the easiest sale of the day into loosing a customer
