I've been going to LA Cryo since they opened and couldn't speak any higher of their services. Ruth operates this family-owned business with the client's needs in mind and does a great job explaining everything thoroughly. She recently purchased a new walk-in cryo chamber that uses electricity instead of gas, which I like much better. She also offers infrared sauna, red light therapy, compression therapy, and localized cryo. The full-body cryo is something I do on average 3x per week. Since I work nearby, I have a monthly subscription that allows me to go daily, if I choose. Overall, cryo therapy has had amazing effects on my inflammation and energy levels, and has drastically reduced my recovery time after work outs. I also notice I don't get sick much any more. My experience with having them shepherd me through cryo & infrared sauna sessions (as well as seeing them guide through other clients) make it evident they really do care. I wouldn't have given this business 1 star if it wasn't for my last experience and the response from the owner (or management not sure who responded). I do cryotherapy regularly and have never had an issue. Two weeks ago I tried LA Cryo and paid $60 for a session. After the cryo session, the guy helping me said he had put me in for too long, and when he measured my skin temperature after it was about 30 degrees. Once I go home I noticed that the back of my legs and my backside were VERY red, not something I had ever experienced. By the end of the evening, it was very painful and I realized I had a nitrogen burn. It's now 2 weeks later and I still have 2 burns on my backside. (I would attach photos but I wouldn't do that of my backside). The burn was bad enough but when I finally got in touch with management (someone named Ruth) and explained the situation. Did the one session for cryo therapy and it was freaking cold -120° something degrees of extreme cold the only thing i would do different is get adjusted first by a chiropractor or massage therapist because your swelling will go down throughout your body but you feel pain in different places if you got a back shoulder or something that needs adjusted. Wow! What can I say except TRY THIS PLACE!! They are INCREDIBLE!!! I recently had a couple of surgeries. My last one left me pretty banged up. I guess I bruise easily because as everyone said, I look like I got hit by a truck! My wonderful doctor recommended me to this place. Let me tell you...I was SHOCKED at my results. Even my doctor who recommended them couldn't believe how quickly I healed. Just ONE session, and my bruises were 90% GONE!!! I was so impressed that I bought a package of 15 sessions. All I can say is WOW! Yes, it is cold but after it is amazing. The high you feel after is like working your bum off and the endorphins just take you over and put you over the rainbow. The owner is so sweet, kind and compassionate. She really helped me since I was so nervous and I'm so glad I didn't back out. Coming from Chicago the last thing I want to do is freeze my bum off but I'm thrilled I jumped in. I couldn't move my neck for over a week and 3 days later I am pain free and my neck moves. An added benefit were my knees. I was used to the pain. I have had knee pain from a car accident for over 25 years. Today I not only don't have knee pain as of today I feel no aches and pains. I will be returning. I am trying to heal my fear, anxiety disorder and to sleep better at night. This is a much better alternative than clogging my body with chemicals. I just went into a cryo-tank that freezes your body to 120 below zero for 3 minutes. It is used to reduce inflammation and pain. You go in with just a robe, socks, crocks and gloves, once in you take the robe off. The only thing sticking out is your head. It was as a long 3 minutes as your body shakes and teeth chatter. After it was done I laid on a massage table where a machine that blew out freezing air was applied to my lower back. I am amazed how much it actually works and how relaxing it is. If you have any type of pain it's worth a shot. I highly Recommend it! Also the technician was fantastic at explaining the process. read more

Had my first cryo therapy session here at LA Cryo. Yikes was it cold but man was it awesome! I came in hopes of alleviating my stubborn, chronic back shoulder pain and to my surprise it actually did work! The pain is not completely gone but it subsided to a degree, though this is only one session. I plan on going on a consistent basis as I was told two to three times a week to benefit from its full potential effects. I also did the local treatment around my head, face and neck.
