First of all, in a sucker for lagree I have been coming to Lagreeology since it opened, and it has now been over a year. Some of the instructors I had actually taken classes with at a different club even before Lagreeology opened, so I already knew the quality of teaching -- and this studio has truly maintained a high standard. You can tell the owner cares about the quality of the routines and teaching methods. Each instructor is professional and has their own style and focus. If you are new, I would definitely recommend trying a few different instructors so you can find the best fit for your level, goals, and workout preference. I have tried at least five different Lagree studios, and overall, Lagreeology is the best. The studio is always clean, well-kept, and welcoming. Parking is also convenient, with plenty of street parking and underground parking available with a gate code. Just be aware that if you are taking an 8 a.m. weekday class, there may be a little traffic nearby since the studio is right across from First Avenue Middle School in Arcadia. All of the instructors are good and most of them offer hands on adjustment. We love coming here. Most students are female clients, I wish I can bring my teen daughters here. I'm loving my ClassPass lately because I've been discovering so many great new workout spots - like Lagreeology! I took a weekend class with Sam (she was subbing) and it was really nice. Sam checked me in, walked me through the class, machines, and gave me a quick tour of the space. She is really engaging and provides a lot of hands on adjustment. Luckily, my class was pretty small so we got a lot of individual attention. She shows us how to do all the movements, which I appreciated. Their music is great, not too loud, and it's not too dark. There's cubbies in the back of the classroom where you can still see to place your things/shoes. Sam even chats with everyone after class which I found very sweet of her. The class itself was challenging, but in a good way. I found myself taking the "lighter/easier" version of almost everything just because my body was so tired haha I definitely think I will be sore tomorrow. Free street parking all around. They have gender neutral restrooms that are clean and large - they even have free tampons and pads if you need them (super nice!) It's located in old town Arcadia area where there's lots of shops, restaurants, cafes to check out after. I will definitely be back! read more

My first time taking Lagree and I'm already in love! Lagreeology is a fairly new studio which opened in November. They have drop in rates and class packs for those who don't want to commit to a membership. My two class pack cost $39 and as a new client, I got complimentary grip socks. How awesome is that! Hardly anything is free nowadays lol. And good quality grip socks aren't cheap so I def thought the $39 was a great deal altogether. The front desk girl was nice and welcoming while getting me checked in. I met the co-owner, Matt and he showed me around the studio. Besides Lagree, there's red light therapy, cold plunge, a few sauna rooms and a cryotherapy room too. Street parking was easy to find. Not sure if it's because my class(es) were taken before noon on a weekday. The instructors I've had were Samantha and Veera. Both were fantastic and thorough with explaining hand/foot placements, what color spring you need to be on, proper form and corrections. It's a 45 minute class but you will be sweating, toning and using many muscle groups with this high intensity work out. Such a beautiful studio. Parking: street parking easy. Attended this for my birthday with a couple friends. It was really fun, thanks Stef for the great class. Well paced and definitely challenging. Megas are looking really well maintained and it's pretty spacious . This is a lot harder than pilates and yes I know it's different. Pricing for classes and passes are reasonable! Only thing I didn't know coming in was having to wear grip socks. But they sell them if you need it. It's pricey haha. Will definitely be back! Maybe after I'm no longer sore. read more

Most of the instructors demonstrate the moves on and off the reformer, which is extremely helpful. Some helped with correcting form, which is great! Street Parking is available, and plentiful. I have been going to Lagreeology for almost half a year and this is one of my favorite lagree studio that I've been to. The studio is pretty spacious and clean. The instructors are nice and sometimes help fix my postures. Lagree is a low impact but will get your heart rate up and your legs to shake. It's a slow but rewarding workout at the end. I tried out this new studio via Classpass and was not disappointed. Street parking around the plaza was easy and free. As soon as you walk in there's a welcome desk and little cubbies are in the back of the studio room. The studio room itself is quite large. The machines are nicely spaced and the blue ceiling lighting is a nice touch to bring that studio vibe. There are windows on either side of the studio so only a front mirror. I had my first class with Samantha and she was lovely. Clear instructions, right on time with showcasing the next move and encouraged us to go as slow as possible (which you want for Lagree). The class was difficult but was most of the classic lagree moves so as someone that comes to lagree classes often, it was easy to go to each move. The last ab set, I was shaking and I was definitely sore the next day Since this was my first time at the studio, the co-owner was super nice to show me around to the other wellness facilities that were behind the welcome area. They have cryotherapy, saunas/infrared saunas, a red light therapy booth, and a cold plunge. You can take a class and then take some wellness after! I believe it is $78 for a one day pass which includes 1 lagree class and up to 3 wellness services in the same day. I took advantage of their Spring promo for 30 Lagree classes and have completed 5 so far. Although they offer underground parking, I've always found easy street parking nearby. Self check-in is quick and convenient with their iPad system. I've tried a few instructors, and so far, Tammy is my favorite. Due to a previous elbow injury, I modify some of the exercises, but overall, it's a fantastic full-body workout targeting abs, legs, arms, and glutes. The great thing about Lagree is that you can tailor the intensity to your own level by adjusting the resistance, perfect for beginners or those wanting a challenge. I have a total love/hate relationship with Lagree. I love how effective the workout is... but during class? It's brutal in the best way! One thing I really appreciate is that their class packages don't expire, so there's no pressure to finish them within a certain time frame. But at the pace I'm going, I might need to purchase another package by the end of summer! read more

Lagreeology is the first lagree studio I tried and I gotta say, it's still one of my favorites. It just opened last November so all their equipment is in pristine condition. They also offer cryotherapy, infrared saunas and cold plunge with a membership. I haven't had issues booking a class whereas they're offered throughout the day. If you're curious about lagree, I'd describe it as reformer pilates' saucy older sister. It's high intensity, low impact and you'll feel like you did a full body workout. Took a 7am class with Betsy. Great instructor! I appreciate her showing me from start to finish because this was the First time taking this class and Let me tell you. This class will humble you! I thought I was strong, weight lifting 5-6 days a week but 45 min of this class and my whole body was shaking uncontrollably. It was so fun and challenging I'll tell you that. i saw this place through classpass & it was easily became one of my new favorite lagree spots! parking is convenient as there is plenty of street parking! it's the store front right at the entrance/corner of the street. the interior is spacious as you walk into the actual studio where the machines are, the cubbies for your personal items to store are towards the back wall. i took my class with samantha & she is the great! very thorough with instructions and demonstrates all moves for anyone that needs it. she is engaged with the class and will constantly remind you about proper body mechanics to work out the correct muscles. read more

This is one of the best Lagree studio in the area! All instructors are good, you don't really have to pick a specific instructor or wait for her classes. They have lots of parking spots and it is very easy to book a class even you book it like an hr before the class time. Very clean and nice new reformer! I utilized the LNY deal for my first class with Samantha and so happy with the experience! I did not know what I was getting into because my legs were burning during warm-up. I enjoyed every moment of it even though I had to stop to rest. From the moment I walked in, I noticed how cute the interior was! It was clean and welcoming. After checking in, I met with Sam and she explained what Lagree is and how to position myself on each part of the machine. Sam was very nice and approachable. Throughout the session, she fixed my posture and did not make me feel embarrassed about it. She has a calm but motivating energy which I appreciate in an instructor! I was super sore the next day and realized how much my core needs work. Lagree is something I need to incorporate in my routine. I attended my first Lagreeology class this weekend and it was fantastic! The studio is one month old, and offers a variety of classes and services in their brand new space. The instructor, Betsy, offered the most clear and descriptive verbal cues when transitioning from one exercise to the next, and demonstrated the movements and pacing for the class to see. I especially appreciated her walking around and offering corrections to ensure that I practiced the proper movements and techniques. After class ended, the owner was available for a brief chat about the studio and her journey in Arcadia. I was incredibly thankful for her, and the instructor's, understanding for my tardiness as there was a street festival causing many detours. Disclaimer: I'm more of a contact sports person and RARELY go to a pilates/yoga/larger class. Maybe like, once a year? With that, I came here via Class Pass and holy moly Betsy worked me! I really don't have much of a core, so I felt everything we did. We worked the small muscles, the core, the arms....I was sore for a few days but a good sore! Betsy was super supportive throughout the whole class and really hyped us up. I'm sure she could tell how much of a newb I was, but she never once made me feel out of place. Bright and cozy Lagree studio (there are two in Arcadia now and they're both fabulous!) I've only had 2 instructors so far but they were both really sweet; my favorite is Paniz, she's thorough, she's super friendly and encouraging, she knows her stuff, and she even speaks to the beat of the music (very important to keep you going lol) I'm not the biggest fan of the light on the ceiling, they're pretty bright and when you do moves that require looking up, it can be a bit jarring. There is a check in staff member as opposed to many other studios where the instructors check you in. Other than that, they use the new Mega pros which I prefer over the older M3 machines, they have really good sales once in a while (I got the spring special that comes out to about $17/class so as cheap as it gets). Parking is easy on the street or in their underground garage (free). They also have a lot of spa services other than actual workouts, but I've never tried them. read more

I regularly go to Made By Solace in Alhambra, but decided to try this spot since it's closer to me and the decor feels more contemporary. I added my first class here through classpass. The workout was great! I felt like I was working out muscles that I didn't know I had haha. The studio is brand new and the equipment and area is very clean. Although I did have trouble with one of the springs in my machine getting stuck midway through the workout. I do like that they offer wellness services which is different from most of the other studios in the area so that's definitely a plus if you're someone who's into wellness and wants access to things like cold plunges and infrared saunas. read more

Sweet and spicy! This place is a great lagree focused workout class that makes the most out of your 45 minutes. I deeply appreciated how the instructor, Sam, warmly greeted everyone before they entered class. She also welcomed questions and chats before and after class. But what stands out the most is 1) the clarity of her instructions, 2) seamless transitions between moves, 3) hands on adjustments so you don't hurt yourself and have proper technique, and 4) ability to access where most people are doing a move wrong and give global feedback. Getting personalized feedback and hands on adjustment so that I can improve is something I truly cherish and Lagreeology gave me just that cherry-on-top experience. In terms of the workout itself, the moves left most of the class trembling and pushing themselves. The instructor also was cognizant of patron's different fitness levels and would suggest a range of colors (ex: use 2-5 whites) and different options of difficulties (ex: you can use one hand to hold yourself or both hands behind your head while doing side crunches). Allowing us to personalize our fitness to match our levels/needs was a huge plus for me! On the social media front, when I posted on my Instagram story a photo of the space, Lagreeology not only reposted my pic, but they also followed me on Instagram as well as personally thanking me for coming to their studio. I've now completed over 10 classes of Lagree here. It was the first time I've ever tried lagree, and all of the instructors are very helpful with correcting your movements, and they make sure to challenge you every single time. The facility is very clean and new. I like that they give you wet wipes to wipe down your machine after every class to keep it clean for the next. They have a ton of little cubbies at the back of the studio to hold your belongings and clean bathrooms. Their online booking system using the MINDBODY app makes it super easy to buy class packs and book classes. I had a couple of hiccups due to my own user error, and the staff helped fix them effortlessly. read more
