I thought it would be the perfect place to go to try female hormone therapy to balance out my hormones, which I believe to be the cause of my lower energy level. When I called, the receptionist asked me the purpose of my call, and I said I was looking for hormone replacement therapy. He set an appointment for me and recommended I fast so I could do a full blood work panel. I fasted and went there the day of my appointment. After I gave the receptionist per his request, a completed questionnaire including my social security number, signed HIPAA documents and the usual slew of personal information, I met with the nurse practitioner. He was very nice. But after 5 minutes he said they don't do hormone replacement therapy for women. He informed how the freezing temperatures could help reduce my muscle and joint pain in my back, so I was sold to try it after that. I was so excited to go here today. Wanted to get blood panel and so much more when I saw everything they offered. So I decided to get the IV drip for immunity for today. Then in my IV there was an air bubble. Between the nurse there saying it's fine, google freaking me out and all the thoughts of should I go to the ER and get checked or not it was a horrible experience. Instead of relaxing I'm googling air in IV lines.
