I needed 50 sandbags and they were filled and delivered on time and for a reasonable price. I highly recommend LA County Sandbags.

He is, without a doubt, one of the best salesmen in the industry. Carlos goes above and beyond with his customer service he's knowledgeable, patient, and truly takes the time to understand exactly what you need. Whether it's helping you find the perfect slab or making sure everything runs smoothly from start to finish, he always delivers. What really sets him apart is his consistency and professionalism. No matter how big or small the project is, Carlos treats every client with the same level of care and attention. It's rare to find someone who combines expertise, honesty, and genuine dedication the way he does. I keep coming back year after year because of him. If you're looking for top-quality slabs and exceptional service, ask for Carlos you won't be disappointed.

I've been in this store several times and that has always been the case. They have a good selection but not a great selection and come here if you are willing to pay full price. The three star rating is because I found the exact same countertop I looked at here for literally half the price somewhere else. Really don't care to know what they offer that the other place doesn't--it was the same and I would have been highly upset if I purchased from here, only to find out how much less I could have spent. Other than that, their space is clean and very well organized, so if that's a priority, and you prefer an aesthetically pleasing atmosphere over more fair prices, you should have a good experience here.

They did our kitchen (with multiple waterfalls and slab under the countertop (since you can see it as you descend down the stairs); along with 3.5 baths (countertops, splashes, etc). Some of the templates were very tricky (needed to ensure concentric waterfalls were centered before install). The whole job went without a hitch. Julio also got us a good discount on the slabs with his industry contacts (we needed 4 jumbo slabs to complete our kitchen alone, so that meant "real" money savings). South Bay Stone's guys were fast, clean, and the fabrication was precise. Also, they consistently answered the phone during crunch time. That is appreciated when you need to ask questions to tee things up for other trades (cabinet makers, etc) , and brainstorm on modifications to splashes. You can't ask for a more professional outfit for the execution of your kitchen or bath project.

Every store we visited wanted to sell us a whole slab, costing way to much money. By luck, we found South Bay Stone. Upon meeting Diana, she led us to their yard and told us to look through their extensive selection of remnants. To our surprise, we found a partial slab of the similar black quartz that we liked at a different store. Diana and her team of installers did a perfect job installing our new quartz countertop at a fraction of the price as other stores quoted. I also want to mention that they also sell full slabs from multiple vendors. So if needing a small or large project, South Bay Stone should be at the top of your list.

As someone who has been watching woodworking videos online for a long time and just starting to get…read moreinto the hobby it was a great experience. The people are friendly and helpful, and it helped me feel less intimidated to ask about things. Some stuff to know for beginners like me. First if you're getting wood bring a measuring tape, they have some there too if you need. There is a finished lumber section in the back, lots of S4S lumber of different varieties that you can choose from. Theres a desk in that corner where you tell the people what you want and how to cut it. They give a couple free cuts with each purchase. For the long pieces that are standing up, you can ask for them to cut a piece and put the rest back, but only if the piece you put back is 8ft or longer. The 'B' means they charge by board foot. Its really easy to calculate, they have signs with the calculation, 'L' means they charge by the foot. For sheet goods like plywood, you park your car at a number in the back past the gate. Then you ask someone at one of the counters for what you want. You are also free to walk into the big warehouse outside the building in the back to look around at the sheet goods. You buy the plywood at one of the counters and tell them how you want it cut up. They'll give you a paper after you pay that you take to the booth in the back. You tell them what number you are parked at, then someone will go get the wood, cut it up, and deliver it to your car. Overall I'm really happy with the experience and am looking forward for a chance to go again. I managed to fit two 8.5ft long boards into my suv along with other various goods. It barely fit but now I'm excited to have lots of wood to work with.

The section where they have the decking displays was in complete disarray. There were boxes everywhere. No organization at all. I had a difficult time finding the samples and nobody at all paid any attention to me. I finally got the attention of someone to assist, but he seemed to be in a rush and I don't think I got all the samples I wanted. I then asked this person about a miter saw I was interested in and he seemed oblivious to what I was asking him. All I wanted to know was if they had a new one in the box available. All I saw was the floor display. He then just told me to ask someone at the desk. If I wanted service like this, I would just go to Home Depot!
