The last visit threw me off the edge. Driving from work in Queens, I typically take an hour. Store hours changed so I was told they could not accommodate a 6pm appointment for a gel manicure and pedicure. While getting the services done, rushing for make a 5:30 appointment, two people walk in with no appointment at 6:15, say they can't come back tomorrow and they are accommodated with an already packed salon. I believe it's been almost a year now .IDK. I decided to review it because my technician, Mark, is so meticulous. I don't want wear nail polish. No glue ons or gels for me. Clean and neat. That's my motto. Maybe a top coat or two on my toes. Yet, the time and efficiency he shows for someone who doesn't wear is worth the $40. I go every six to eight weeks. I have not been disappointed. If he offers you a massage, you can indulge. But those massage chairs you sit in for the pedicure are euphoric The salon sits in a strip mall on busy Merrick Road, particularly on Saturdays when I go. Therefore, parking may be a challenge. The decor is artful with soft piano music playing in the background. You are very relaxed. He may still do walkins. Idk. But appointments are definitely a must.
