The place has a cozy down home atmosphere with a friendly neighborhood vibe.. Best Margaritas in town!!! Opens for a special lunch menu...can't beat the prices. A great secret place for those that know best!

First time in this cozy little place. Booth seating to one side and a bar on the other. It's got a cool eclectic vibe, very clean. We were promptly sat and a server was there with menus and water and took our drink order. The menu is small but covers all the bases nicely. The chips arrived hot and the salsa made in house while we waited for our food which wasn't long. Nothing pretentious going on here just solid well prepared and fresh. Portions were generous and the prices fair. We've found another little gem! I would have given 4.5 stars simply for the fact that the dusty musty 70s one hit wonder ambient music included the theme from Greatest American Hero. A lot of you will be too young to remember lol.

We lucky enough to find La Cina and had the best experience! The service was incredible - it was May 6th and they were just coming off a crazy Cinco de Mayo yet they are so nice and welcoming. Food? Best beans and rice hands down! I had the Taco dinner and my husband had the quesadilla. Great portions. Last thing - bonus was the Diet Shasta soda. I had no clue what it was at first but it too was delicious and I can't recommend it enough! Can't say enough good things!

A very nice addition to the GP area. Although their food is def more tex-mex in my opinion than real Mexican food, it definitely hits the spot. The portions are always filling, and always arrives hot. Def a good go to!

    Beef tostadas

A tiny restaurant which delivers very good food and good service. The bartender makes a great margarita from scratch--no mixes. I had the tostada's which were very flavorful. The dish came with beans and rice. All were very good. My only complaint is they served the dish on a soup bowl-type plate and they were hard to eat and cut on that plate. They should have been served on a flat plate. (I know this sounds trivial, but it's important to me). My husband had fish taco's which. Bonus too. You can play the Michigan lottery games in there too. We also liked the quiet atmosphere

Went there for Taco Tuesday. Tacos were great. The Chorizo cheese deep was the bomb. I'll be going back.

The food is simply awful. I have nothing good to say about anything we tried. The service was slow and for some reason it' smells like dog

But with this brand-new location opening in our area (along with all the buzz, protests, and controversy that came with it), I figured it deserved a fair try. I opted for the drive-thru on a very chilly morning. They offer both walk-up and drive-thru, but the cold made the choice easy. The team members taking orders outside were clearly new and still finding their footing, and I genuinely appreciated how hard they were trying. The young man who took my order had a trainer nearby, and you could tell he was a bit nervous -- but he was doing his best. Same for the young woman who handed me my food on the pickup side. I tip my hat both of them. And the food? Excellent. Whatever else people may say about the brand, Chick-fil-A has always prided itself on quality -- and it shows. Everything was fresh, hot, and prepared just right. I may not stop in often because of the higher price point, but I get it. Quality costs more, and you can taste the difference. But the biggest shout-out goes to the back-of-house crew. It must have been right at that crossover between breakfast winding down and lunch gearing up -- which, in any fast-food place, is its own special kind of stress. And in a brand-new store during opening week? Multiply that pressure by ten. I worked in fast food back in my college days, so I have a pretty good sense of what's happening behind that swinging door: the constant rush, the tight choreography, the pressure to keep every station moving while also learning new systems on the fly. Those back-of-house workers are doing some of the most important jobs in the building, and yet they're often the ones who get the least recognition. While the front-of-house team interacts with customers, the kitchen crew is back there hustling -- cooking food properly, assembling orders, keeping the place clean, restocking, troubleshooting equipment, and shifting between meal services. It's demanding work on the best day, and even harder when everything is still new. We don't see those folks, but they're the heartbeat of the operation. Without them, nothing works. And speaking as someone who has family working in the industry, I sincerely hope management recognizes how hard their back-of-house crew is working during these early weeks. A little patience and well-earned appreciation can make all the difference -- especially for the team members carrying the heaviest load. So to the team behind the scenes -- thank you. My hat goes off to you. And yes, I'll definitely be back.

The service is good, I can tell they're still getting used to things. My issue is the taste of the food compared to what I'm used to. Every time something was forgotten from the order, even something as simple as straws it was frustrating after driving away. The fries always seem to be room temperature like they've been sitting. The last time I even had a completely undercooked one. The nuggets taste good. Everything is clean and nice. I'm hoping this isn't how it's going to be at this location.

I guess policies and procedures are out the door when you're trying to make do with any staff that decided to show up. Service here is definitely worse than the product. If you place an order ahead of time, no matter how long you wait to come and get it, it will still not be ready. It makes no difference whether you use their app to order or DoorDash. At least they've always stayed consistent with wait times! I think the trick may be to just order when you get there vs ahead. Many times, people who did that were in and out before I was... As far as product goes, that's what keeps us coming back. I order the same thing almost every time, a Southwest Chicken Caesar wrap, and a Carlo's Detox smoothie - a forever fave. Classic, tried, and true... & banana free haha. I really like the zing in the dressing they use for their Southwest; it hits every time. They typically pack the wrap full too. The prices are consistent with other shops in the area, and I'll always visit since it's the closest to me. I just hope they can find decent staff that at least greets you when you walk in. There's been a few times where we choose Lunch Box Deli or even Einstein's because the service here can just be awful or not existing, so just be weary of that and make sure you have a lot of time in your day.
