I came to Beach Tennis after getting ignored at Pete Martin's Tennis Shop down the street and was…read moregreeted the minute I walked in. There were two gentlemen in there, one was stringing a racquet. They don't have a huge selection, but we looked around and the guy asked how he could help us. I said I just needed some grip and what kind and color they had. He showed me a couple and I said it was just for my son's racquet, so he showed one to me and said it was a little cheaper. I appreciate that honesty and that he didn't try to upsell me. I bought the grip and was on my way, and it was great customer service. I would definitely go back there, because I felt they had expertise in the questions I asked them (in addition to the grip), and they made the time to answer them and make me feel welcomed.

From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with a warm and friendly welcome, and it was evident that the staff here are seasoned professionals in the world of tennis. The team at Beach Tennis demonstrated a deep knowledge of the sport, and they were more than willing to share their expertise with me. They patiently answered all my questions and provided valuable insights into choosing the right equipment, from rackets to accessories. Their willingness to take the time to understand my needs and preferences made the experience enjoyable and stress-free. What impressed me the most about my experience at Beach Tennis Shop in Lomita was their commitment to troubleshooting any issues I had, especially considering my struggles with tennis elbow. They took the time to understand the challenges posed by my tennis elbow and patiently addressed any concerns I had related to it. Together, we explored different options, tried out various rackets with features designed to mitigate the risk of exacerbating my condition, and discussed potential adjustments to optimize my equipment for minimal strain on my arm. Their dedication to helping me find the ideal solutions, taking into account my specific condition, was evident throughout the process. Not only will they help you through your specific issues, but they will deliver a consistent, quality, stringing every time. Whether you're a beginner or an experienced player, this shop is a haven for tennis enthusiasts seeking top-notch service and expertise in every aspect of the game. After 25+ years of using the same Wilson tennis racket, I was finally convinced to hang up that old…read moreracket and try some new ones. I've come to this location before when it was Pete Martin to get my racket restrung and I remembered they had a good selection of rackets. So off to this location I go. When I walked in, I was greeted by Tony. I told him the type of racket I had and he suggested the Wilson Blade. And luckily for me, they had one I could demo. I did come back to demo another racket and this time was greeted by Gee. She suggested I demo the Yonex Percept 97 or the Babalot Pure Drive. I tried out the Yonex racket. In the end, I went with what I was used to. Had to go Wilson. Lol. There demo program is pretty cool. If I remember it correctly, It's $20 to demo a racket for 5 days. And in those 5 days you can come back and demo other rackets that they have. If you decide to purchase a racket at the end of the 5 days, they will deduct $20 from the price of the racket. Service: Everyone was really friendly. Love how this is a family run business. Parking: Never had an issue finding parking. I did pass the parking lot the first time I rolled here though. Lol. Will I be back? Of course! Definitely will come back if I need to get my racket restrung. I'm also looking to get a second Wilson Blade.
