Super disappointed I brought several brand new items to this boutique I thought I could trust. Messaged owner Heather to make an appointment. She said to bring in on either Tuesday or Thursday to drop off. Dropped off items to two very young girls in the back of the store. They were totally engaged in a personal conversation and hardly paid any attention to me and my items that I was dropping off. Anyway I got no itemized receipt and very little to no info about what to expect next. I did end up selling 1 designer purse but never received any updates on all my other items I dropped off. Went in several times to see about if my other items had sold and the nice lady at the front said I had no items there. I left 2 messages for the owner Heather to call me back. Nothing so I will never step foot in there again. Wish I could file a police report for my missing items that have disappeared. read more

How could I have not known this is a resale shop? I've walked past here a gazillion times. It's a couple doors away from the little post office in Riviera Village, which is where I was today. A $3 sale rack in front of Always Fabulous lured me. I snagged a cute tee for 3 bucks. I might bring some of my stuff here to sell since it's so close. It's 50/50 consignment, a really cute shop with a large fitting room area and a friendly proprietor. I saw a lot of denim on their racks, some cool shoes, handbags, sunglasses, and sporty tops. I got SUPER lucky here a week ago! I got an adorable black and white strapless dress off the $5 rack, a pair of perfectly worn in True Religion back-flap pocket jeans for $37, and a cute little lacy top for $19. They had a ton of really cute things, and especially PURSES. I don't know if this is typical, but their purse selection on this particular day was IMPRESSIVE! The dressing rooms are really a treat - big, with a comfy seat, and thick curtains for privacy. There's a big, full length mirror in each room, and another one right outside the dressing rooms so you can walk out and see yourself. Their selection of shoes, boots, dresses, and jeans kept me trying on stuff for so long that we didn't even notice it was after closing time when we went to make our purchases. And the sales people were so sweet, that they didn't even shoo us out or rush us to finish up. Nice! The $5 and $10 sale racks outside seem like they always have new things, because today I passed by and browsed, and saw totally different items. I'm a Redondo native, so, naturally, I frequent the little boutiques. On one outing, my friend and I saw a cute little consignment shop. We decided to check it out. Oh boy, were we wrong! The items here were so overpriced, I almost smacked the middle-aged lady behind the counter. They had a tank top from TARGET for $15. I had that SAME EXACT tank top in a prettier color that I got NEW for $7.50!! My friend pulled out a pair of WAL-MART jeans. "How much would you say this is?" she asked. I shrugged. "Ten?" IT WAS FIFTY DOLLARS. FROM WAL-MART. Disgusted, we left. If you want GOOD clothing, head over to Santa Monica and check out Wasteland and Crossroads. This little place is a great place to find a deal especially if you have time to browse. I think the negative review below was during another owner. Prices are fair and the handbags are segmented by lesser brands and the "real stuff". I have bought several handbags, belts and other items so now when I make my weekend village stops its on my list. They show good customer service and appreciate our patronage because they had a whole spread of food out for people the other day to celebrate their anniversary. So I got the handbag I needed AND lunch! Parking is easy, the rack outside has killer deals and I like the vibe a bit better than Return Engagement down the street. They have tons of cute stuff... They only accept women's clothes and accessories. Brands they like to consign are juicy, the couture brands, matty m., sky, coach. Be sure to call ahead and make sure they are accepting consignment, although they are a lot more lenient than the place around the corner. Press/steam and hang everything for the best pricing. Shopping wise, they mark everything down by half every six weeks- good deals can definitely be found on the racks out front where everything is $5 or less. I was in desperate need of some Retail Therapy and had been on my way to the shopping center in the Riviera Village, Redondo Beach when I spotted Always Fabulous. The sale rack caught my attention. I quickly flipped through the pile of clothing and was happily surprised that not only was the quality of the selection awesome, but the prices were also fantastic! Of course I went inside and flipped through more racks. I bought a HOT dress, a fun black dress, plus a pretty red short sleeve blouse for a total of $32 including tax! Sweet!! Located in the quaint Riviera Village shopping district in Redondo Beach this cute boutique is chock full of both new and gently used designer finds. Always up to date everything is in style and hip. The deals here are great ranging from designer jeans (Seven For All Mankind, True Religion, etc.) to tops, dresses, pants, skirts, jackets and accessories galore (lots of shoes, designer sunglasses, handbags and other jewelry). Easy to browse racks, ample dressing rooms make the entire treasure hunt that much more appealing. The women in the shop were great offering their opinions when asked. I picked up an NWT embellished tee-shirt for around $25 that I've priced at $50+ at other places. DO NOT SELL YOUR CLOTHES WITH THEM! My respect for this place has gone way down. I used to shop here a lot and get nice things for cheap... But I decided to sell a few of my items (still knowing I wouldn't get much for them.. Help support a local business) and they were completely unorganized and lost the main thing I wanted money for and came up with lame excuses. For 4 months I tried to contact the owner and tried to get my check and they ended up giving me a tiny amount and said the item "sold". I don't believe it. I have also brought clothes in for consignment and they don't always list what I bring in therefore selling my merchandise and keeping the profit. This consignment clothing store is literally "Always Fabulous"! I was looking for something special to wear to a wedding, and decided to look at several high-end consignment clothing stores and found this absolutely wonderful place! A lovely, gorgeous boutique filled with tasteful, high-end brand name clothes, shoes, purses and jewelry at extremely reasonable prices. Everything is beautifully displayed and look practically brand new! All the sales people were so friendly and helpful and thoughtful. At the same time, I didn't feel pressured to purchase anything, which I very much appreciated. On my first visit I ended buying two pairs of dress sandals, a beautiful silk blouse, and a gorgeous turquoise and gold necklace with matching earrings. I had such a nice time that I went back two days later and ended up buying an evening dress by Adrianna Papell that fit me perfectly (and would have costed $150.00 new) for $30. It looked brand new! You will not regret visiting this consignment boutique! It is absolutely the best one I have found! I just wish I could go there every week. Unfortunately, I have to fly back home to Seattle. Whenever I take a walk around the town I always visit and support the Local businesses. I like the shopping in boutique it's my favorite thing to do. The small business have more of a welcoming feeling and unique finds then a corporate stores in my opinion. Continuing my visit so this is my second time at Always Fabulous. This second time my hubby and I feel in love with a small per-own Louis Vuitton everyday bag price at $500. Keeping in mind that when entering and browsing for about 15min we weren't acknowledged. My hubby and I ask and negotiate with a petite Lady with dark hair and she brought the price down to $450. When we made up our mind, we then ask her if the purse was authentic and she said that she would double check. After standing at the cash register for a couple of minutes she made a couple of comments on the customer who brought the purse in. We were astonished when she told us it was counterfeit!!! My hubby ask her why would she selling fake items and being dishonest to customers beside this being illegal. read more

I made the mistake of buying a white leather handbag and taking the salespersons word that the dark areas were just dirt. She told me that I just needed to go to Coach for a leather cleaner. Unfortunately they weren't stains but worn white leather that could not be recovered. And all sales are final. Total waste of money. Granted it was my mistake but the sales clerk probably knew that they weren't stains, and that I couldn't recover it and she played the sales (sleezy type) game with me. NOT always fabulous.
