I love this place. My favorite for Colombian. Been coming here for years. The food is always delicious, cheap and the service is great.

This place has gone DOWNhill. The food has never been great but now it's trash. The service sucks. We waisted 15 minutes before our waiter came to ask us for our drinks. Then when he was bringing them, he brought them to the wrong table. The place wasn't busy. There were 5 tables and 3 staff. I will literally never spend my money here again. Went Saturday with two of my friends my husband and and daughter and it was a terrible experience,the food is cold plus tasted nasty bland and flavorless the service provided by the waitress was terrible too. Recommend the Paridilla with assorted meats and sides. (Minus blood sausage). Came here with my mom not knowing what to order and found the Paridilla has a little bit of everything. Grilled chicken-steak-sausage-lil weenies. It also comes with French fries-yuca fries and potato patties with dipping sauce (mayo ketchup). We also ordered the passion fruit (maracuya) juice. 1. Entered and was promptly seated. 2. Looking around and noticed the floor wasn't as packed..been here before and it was much busier... 3. NO SERVER...no water..no welcome..no NOTHING...seated approximately 10 min! Watch two servers stand against the wall near kitchen door and bathroom area 4. Watch staff seat 2 additional patrons and BRING them water and ask about food...seated approximately 15 min 4. NO SERVER..NO WATER..NO NOTHING... 5. Went there with my girl and her grandmother. Both latinas. I wasn't going to be happy with the food because I'm picky. But for the grandmother to say to me"I'm sorry you waisted your money in such bad food. The mixed drinks were good. Didn't like the fact when you order a soda, they give you a can. I went for breakfast on Thursday 4/27. The waitress Flor, had a great attitude, very friendly. When i go back again i will ask for her because, there is another lady there, that does not smile at all. The coffee was fresh, I still wish they serve Cafe con Leche (caffee latte) Cuban style. The plato montañero was the best I've had in a while. The meat was really good, the beans were AMAZINGGG. I also had the mini empanadas which were good. Only thing I didnt like was the arepa it came with, it waa dry and taste-less. Customer service was good! Def recommend this place. read more

I went there for breakfast this morning. I can only comment on what i had. The Higado Encebollado was great! really liked it. However, the arepa has to be better than what they have. I have eaten at various Colombian restaurants and each of them has pros and not so pro. The coffee here has to be perfected for sure. If they could only figure it out how to do a great cafe con Leche. The only place i had great coffee so far is the Antojos restaurant. And they also have the best arepa. I used to like the breakfast at El Paisa but i think Antojo en la casona are better. El Paisa however has great cheese that goes great with the coffee. The waitress was nice at La Casona . Unlike the Antojo waitress on the weekends. And of course, the bakery at La Casona, has various goody and great and healthy shakes. And of course Parking thats why i give it five stars. My recommendation to La Casona, invest in one of those coffee machines that Cubans use to make great coffee and your breakfast will be perfect. I really don't like to have coffee that taste same as the one i make home. I have tasted the best cafe con leche in Miami, i am sure the owner at La Casona has as well. Delicious Colombian Food with a fun ambience located in the small City of Central Falls. Reasonable prices and professional staff. Their Churrasco and Fried Yuca (Casava) is my favorite plate along with their Shrimp Ceviche. read more

I love the restaurant decor, family friendliness, and attentiveness from the staff that I always get when I visit La Casona. I am a huge fan of their Churrasco and it's always consistent in flavor. My husband tends to try different dishes every time we go and has never been disappointed. Their empanadas are smaller than other places but I don't mind where size. read more

Marinated pork, pork rinds, smoky chorizo, sweet plantains, and a fried egg over rice. Side salad and baked bean soup on the side. I have no idea what the name of this meal was, but it was featured under 'Traditional Plates' and it was the stuff dreams are made of. Our delivery took over an hour and a half to get here. The girl who took our order said 35-40 mins, had she been honest about the wait time it would've been different. Every time I called the restaurant they kept saying "we will be there soon" or "I just spoke to the driver and he said he will be there in 5 mins". I literally live 7 minutes from the restaurant (my car is in the shop so no choice but to have it delivered) and it still took them an hour and a half to arrive. La casona is a great spot! Coffee is great, however there could be some things they could work on. The chicken filling to the pasteles de pollo lack taste and the meat should be better quality. I've been to this restaurant before and their food is phenomenal and my favorite drink is Limonada de coco, but prior to going I've heard so many great things about the restaurant. Now that my husband works in CF, I come around more frequently. Sadly I went today since I was in the area, wanted to stop in to get my favorite drink. What happened, well when I said I wanted una Limonada de coco, the female employee made a look like she doesn't want to take the time to make it. She told me they don't make them anymore, I said that false because I've been there recently (last week) and ordered one. So another female employee comes and says they do make it but only large quantity (pitch size). I just said thank you and walked out upset. I was highly upset of their response. Why would a business sell something their employees don't look forward making or vice versa, have employees with a negative vibe. I probably will never go back. I'll look up my own recipe and if I want Columbian food, I'll go to El Paisa. read more

The food didn't taste that bad apparently breakfast and lunch are served all day. As mentioned in a previous comment the waitress seated us abd we waited forever for drinks, no water was given and she acted molested when refills were asked and took forever to get back to the table. Why have 3 waiters 2 of which stood by kitchen door talking and the other seemingly unhappy to be there. We were never asked if food was ok. If we needed anything etc. It's a fend for yourself restaurant. Apart from flys going around bc front door was opened up despite being so darn hot we were sweating eating our food.
