Service: one very important thing to note is that the staff mostly do not speak english, although they did have an english menu. HOWEVER, one of the patrons came by and helped translate our orders for the waitress, which was representative of how friendly the whole experience was despite the language barrier. Food: we ordered a few cocktails and beers, which were all decent. My friends ordered the empanadas (delicious and would recommend), the whole fried tilapia ($20 for the platter which is good price imo). I ordered the meat entree platter which included fried pork belly, chicken, sausage, and beef. It was heavy, as expected, but both the tenderness and flavor were excellent. I'm not very familiar with Columbian food to rate this place objectively but overall I had a good time and would come back if I'm in the area.

Little goes a very long way. I also tried the chicharrone (which has yelp can't spell for me) and it was very interesting. Good. Very very crunchy- gave nice strong teeth and nice pork flavor. Also not greasy. Also tried the plantain- I am partial to the sweet ones. This was ok I just like 'em sweeter. I look forward to going back. Ladies behind counter were super. Colombian music playing so created atmosphere while we sat and ate. Lovely experience.

I go…read moreby here every morning in my way to work around 7:00 am and it is always packed, today was no exception but knowing I wanted to experience this place for myself I left a bit earlier for work. Parking can be challenging especially seeing this restaurant runs on Lonsdale Ave a busy street in itself. The line was out the door and that's where I stood waiting patiently. The love moves at a decent pace. Here finally my turn and I honestly had no clue what to expect or what they even really sold but I was hoping they had anything that contained ham and cheese and they did, Brad with ham and cheese for $3.50 I was surprised that was all. They do gave finger foods, drinks coffee and fruit drinks, breads, pastries of many sorts. I was tempted to get a pastry but I stayed focused. The bread was actually good and tasted fresh they only concern which was a big one for me was that there was hardly any ham and cheese in it and I mean like barely none. I could have actually went with just bread as that's what I felt I received. Would I return maybe especially if I am in mood for something g sweet as the variety was plenty to choose from. There is a sit down area on both sides of the restaurant with one big screen tv. This place seems more of a grab and go type establishment. They open at 5:00am and close at I believe 9:00 pm

The smell coming from the restaurant was amazing, so I decided to give it a try. My first experience was excellent--a gentleman helped me, explained the menu, and the food was incredible. Unfortunately, every visit after that has been disappointing. The service has been consistently unwelcoming. I often feel like I'm an inconvenience rather than a paying customer. Since I'm not familiar with all of the combination plates, I ask questions, but instead of being helped, I'm charged separately for everything and receive very small portions. I hate to say it, but as someone who isn't Hispanic, I've often felt like I wasn't welcome there. Whether that's intentional or not, that's how the experience has made me feel. No customer should leave feeling like they don't belong. I drive from Providence because the food is genuinely that good, but great food can only make up for poor customer service for so long. Sadly, I won't be returning. I truly hope they work on making every customer feel welcome because the food deserves the same quality of service.

Food/Drinks: I've been coming here since I was little, and the food has always been very delicious…read more I really love their bandeja Paisa because it's shareable, and the food is so good. I do have to say, though, that I have noticed from when I was younger to now that they have definitely made their portions smaller, and they don't add the chicharrón like they did in the past. :( Still good, but because of this, I tend to go to another Colombian restaurant. Location: This location is spacious, and it's clean. Perfect to go with family or to just grab a bite. You can go casual, but some people dress up depending on how you want to go, but it's pretty casual in my opinion. They offer street parking. Service: I truly love the service. The servers that I've had here are very friendly and super loving, and they have the very beautiful Colombian accent, and it's just a vibe.

This place is massive, with lots of tables to dine in, and a bakery section. We ordered the following: Mondongo (pequeño), bandeja paisa, lengua sudada, and res apanada. The food came out in about 20 minutes. The serving sizes were a little bigger than normal (I am not complaining), every plate looked delicious, and all the plates were hot and fresh. The mondongo was tasty and had a good amount of tripe and the right thickness of the broth. I chuckled when I saw the side of banana, but honestly, it made for a good desert. The bandeja paisa brings a litte bit of everything and it all was cooked well. The lengua sudada was very tender and flavorful and the yucca was soft, with the sauce it was in giving it a really good flavor. The res apanada was a bit tough and the breading did not stick on too well, but overall the flavor was good and the breading was crispy which I enjoyed. The best part of it all was the prices. It is very affordable and you will leave full.   The bakery is inexpensive and the items I have tried and good. They do have a large parking lot and it's free. While in the area, you could visit the Slater Mill (they have tours you could sign up for) or visit the public library. One thing to note is that the GPS might bring you to their old location a couple blocks up the street, so do a little bit of research for the address beforehand.

We had been meaning to check out this new Colombian restaurant that recently opened in Pawtucket…read moreand finally had the opportunity to stop in tonight. It's a casual bar/ restaurant and it looks like they have live music at times. Most folks were dining close to the bar but we were seated at a booth in the main dining area. A little after seven when we arrived and there were only a few other groups in the place. It seems like this spot get more lively later in the evening. We started with the arepitas dulces which were delicious: sort of like little fried dough portions made of cornmeal topped with cheese and served with a sour cream dipping sauce. Totally would go back just for these. For an entree we had camarones al ajillo, which were nicely prepared (no tails) and served with a super fresh sauce that included great, fresh cilantro. We also had bottled beers which are reasonably priced at $5.20. Note that there is a surcharge for using a credit card so recommend bringing cash. Our server was also working the bar as well as our table in the dining room so was a little slow in checking on us for more drinks but no big deal, especially for a more casual place.
