Came here with my Colombian boyfriend to try authentic Colombian cuisine. He has been away from home for over a year now & has been feeling home sick lately. We got the Empanadas to start & ended up ordering a second serving because they were so good & fresh! Chicken soup & Bandeja paisa for entree & they were both super good as well, fresh ripe avocado & a the chorizo was some of the best. Highly recommend if you are missing home or just looking to try a new cuisine- the staff was also very nice and accommodating to my very "special margarita" request! 5/5!! read more

I have eaten at this restaurant over 2 dozen times! We usually order it for takeout and pick it up! everything I've had there is the rest of their entrées whether it's neat, chicken or seafood. I love the fresh fruit drinks & desserts! But i never actually sat down & dined in the restaurant ... until this past month! Omg, have I been missing out! The food has always been delicious but having it served fresh right out the kitchen and not in a Styrofoam box was absolutely amazing! The service is also great even if you don't speak Spanish the staff at super helpful. The menu has photos & it is in both English and Spanish! It's a lil gem in good ol central falls. To me, it's the best Colombian restaurant in RI. Not to mention it's really nice inside. Super clean, outside dining in the warmer weather read more

The spot has the most slamminnnn food and excellent customer service and I cannot say enough amazing things about them. However I would absolutely not recommend the tripe soup because it is 90% potatoes and chicken!!!! With a few pieces of tripe thrown in. I haaaaate chicken soup and potatoes. It was a waste of $20. read more

Espectacular super recomendado la mejor comida Colombiana aqui en MAS! Delicioso y buenisima Atencion

$20 to bring in your own birthday cake is quite ridiculous, let alone the place is already overpriced on food. They have good food but they have gone down hill charging $20 just to bring extra plates and a knife to cut a cake. read more

Delicious food!, sometimes a wait but worth it. it's so comfortable inside. Nice and cleaned up.

Went for on Saturday afternoon for lunch, upon arrival we were seated in less than 10 minutes. The restaurant was busy but there appeared to be sufficient wait staff. Once we were seated we waited a while for our waitress to arrived and take a drink order along with our food. I was disappointed in how long it took for us to get our drinks. I ordered the Casona Burger Once our food arrived, I quickly noticed the burger was big, the patty was good but I was not a fan of the coleslaw that it came with. The bun on the burger made it almost impossible to eat without making a mess. The burger came with fries and I asked for the pink sauce to drip the fries in and a passion fruit margarita. The waitress took so long to come back with this. It was frustrating because there were about 7 tables to tend to and 5 waitresses so it appeared to be even. I looked over and saw most of the staff huddled at the bar hanging out. After it finally arrived the margarita was good and made with the right consistency of alcohol. I made an order to go but just to get the waitress to come back to place the order took so long let alone waiting for the food. I may go back just at a different time. read more

They permit cigarette smoking, so it pretty much smells like an ashtray. Too bad, because the bar is really quite nice looking, a huge menu of drinks. read more

Authentic Colombian food, my boyfriend is from Colombia and this is his spot. He goes here frequently and I don't eat meat so I never went. Decided to give it a try after actually traveling to Colombia and falling in love with the food. This place is very nice inside and also has a bakery attached. The servers were great. Definitely vegan friendly. I'm absolutely in love with rice, frijoles (beans), and platanos which I ordered every single kind. Delicious wow. The platanos maduros are to die for. read more

I like the bakery, they always have fresh breads and delicious sweet desserts. Price is good and reasonable.

Really good authentic Colombian food. The restaurant had a nice traditional feel. The servers were friendly and professional. I would recommend trying the juices. They are made with fresh fruit and are amazing!!! The parking is limited and being on a main street can be difficult. At the entrance they have a small bakery with fried foods too. If you like traditional Colombian food I would try this place!! read more

Awesome food I'll be reordering from there from now and the soup was fantastic I would definitely recommend

La Casona is definitely a good choice for Colombian food newbies or people that like more a Americanized feel, but in my opinion, there's much better Colombian food to be had. What it has going for it is a much nicer restaurant space that is large and airy compared to the other more run down Colombian restaurants in RI, an outdoor seating area when the weather is nice, its own secure parking lot and a fully stocked bar. The service has always been prompt and I've never had problems. There's a ton of TVs inside, so it tends to get crowded here when there is a soccer game on. Not my first choice for Colombian food in the area, but I'd come again on occasion for sure. Compared to all Colombian restaurants I've been to, this would be in the 2 star range, for RI with its limited options, this is a solid 3 star. A-ok. read more

You could find MUCH better colombian restaurants around central falls.. go to El Paisa or El Antojo if you want some delicious food. The food here is sub-par with the only redeeming thing being their pandebonos. I would rate them 3 stars if it was just their food but their service is even worse. I asked one of the waitresses what was in a particular plate and without a beat, she said " I don't know". Was she dumb or rude? Who knows. All I know is that this restaurant is not worth your time. Oh and in spanish: Que restaurante tan mediocre, mejor comida encuentro en otras partes con un mucho mejor servicio tambien. read more

My husband and I decided to try La Casona. We've heard good reviews and said why not try it? We have never been to this restaurant before but been to another Colombian restaurant in Central Falls. From the second we walked in we were greeted. Nice staff great decorations. We both ordered the same plate. I forgot the name of it but it had so many items for just $14! Love the food here! This is only my second time, but am planning to go back soon. I got the mini bandeja and jugo de guanábana con leche. I grew up eating soursop fruit, so I love that I can get this drink here because it brings me back to my childhood. The mini bandeja is my new favorite dish here because I can sample a little bit of everything. It comes with beans, chorizo, chicharron, platanos maduros, corn arepa, fried runny egg, and your choice of meat (chicken, porl, or beef). Omg, this was so good! I love the saltiness of the rice which goes so well with the beans. Also, that chorizo...smokey, peppery, and so flavorful. Definitely, one of best chorizo that I have ever had. The only reason I am giving it 4 stars is because of the bakery. I got the flan and a guava puff pastry. The guava puff pastry was a bit to dry so when you take it piece it basically was crumbs. It might have been because I got it late in the evening, but it was disappointing read more

The worst service!!! Bad food! Messed up order & overcharged is for an item & did not fix it!

Place gets really loud if there's a soccer game going on. Beware Came for a date and didn't know it'll be like that. That aside, food is good as well as service. Ask for bandeja paisa. Delicious typical Colombian dish. Parking on the side. Inside or out sitting. read more

My daughter and i had a very good lunch here. However thseating was aquward, they sat us next to a very young and amorous couple that were sittibg beside one another. We bith had the large soups. I had chicken and she had the beef. Everything would have been fine if the hot and heavy couple wernt mere inches away fron us. Btw the maragaritas were to die for. Maybe the young couple had one too many. All in all we couldn't enjoy our meal because of the odd seat placement. read more

I was disappointed in my lunch today. I expected shredded beef in my enchilada- it was beef ground very finely and little flavor. I asked for whole beans- I got frijoles, again with little flavor. I suggest shredded beef; frijoles mashed with lard or bacon grease to enhance the flavor of the beans. I also suggest the handicap parking space be reserved for the handicap. Today was not typical of my past experiences, and I will return. read more

Leave it to capitalism to ruin the world cup. We go to our regular restaurant La Casona to watch another Colombia game and what was free entry every time til now is now a $20 cover and the best seats are VIP $50. AND you couldn't sit inside. So we're on metal folding chairs in the hot sun without a shade option watching a 50" screen through sun glare from 20 yards away. Last time we came we dropped over $150 on drinks, food and tip... This time... ÷=%€&% them. We paid the $40 so we can watch with country mates but refused to drop a dime more. In addition the crowd was a quarter the size of what it was last time and certaily not as lively. They will never see us again. Not for games, not for food not for nothing. -- with Manuel A Osorio Florez at La Casona Restaurant. read more
