This experience was not great at all and the only reason I'm giving them three stars is because the last time I was here I really enjoyed it. Either they were short staffed or it's always like this when they are busy, but it took us almost an hour to get our food. There were quite a few tables that were full, but that is just ridiculous. It took almost 10 minutes for the waiter to come over to even take our drink order. At that point we ordered our food as well and then settled in to wait. We had no idea how long it would be! The entire time we waited no one once came by to see how we were doing or if we needed refills. We did have to ask twice how much longer it would take for the food to come and the server looked annoyed. The food was good once it arrived, and thankfully it was piping hot! I think they must have just really gotten behind. I may give them one more try, but steer clear on a busy day! read more

Barbara the Owner is the sweetest and kindest. Greets her customers with a smile and a warmness that is hard to find these days. My Mother and I sat inside and had a cute little table in the back. The view outside the window is lovely and the restaurant is an inviting little ranch house with art throughout for purchase. My Mother had the southwest burger with potato salad and I had the havarti grilled cheese with potato salad. Both excellent. Homemade root beer and ginger ale were the icing on my cake! I saw this place only had three and a half stars but we decided to try it out. I can honestly say I'm surprised this place does not have 5 stars. This place had amazing coffee, food, service, and atmosphere. Their Carmel latte is spectacular. Carmel is homemade. I had an omelet and it was cooked to perfection. We sat outside and the service was amazing. It had the small town feel you want. Food came out fast and accommodated to my food allergies. My husband had the strawberry French toast and said it was delicious. We left with smiles on our faces and feeling like we were a local. We will be back! read more

Such a charming place wonderful pies and food for the most part ... SERVICE SUCKS.... Rude from the start why I have no idea? Bad day leave it at home not the work place ... we used to go here all the time The greatest kid worked here .. owner wouldn't give her time off...for a vaca with her family.. New person get r orders all wrong to often?!... We had missed going here, and only too be greeted by a snarl and salmon was stinky and nasty and her reply was its fish...Well your wrong fish should not stink and taste like low tide....sorry and then give us a plane salad for the same amount $ A little kindness goes a long way ... Wouldn't hurt and we would have been loyal, frequent foodies...Instead we left very unhappy and and never to return... Grow & evolve from this ... read more

Great little breakfast spot. Not a place for a really quick breakfast but a place to savor the food and the nice surroundings. Lots of shade in the outside seating and large portions on the food. We don't always get a chance to be in this part of the state but enjoy stopping by when we can. read more

Atmosphere brings beauty,, peace, and ultimately tranquility at Randall House. Pride of ownership is what you experience as you begin to step foot and go back in time. A live guitarist at 8am greeted us with a smile and a nod. We chose to dine outside in awe amongst the beautiful trees and lovely music. Under the shade of what is called a 'cigar tree' we placed our order. If you enjoy beautiful music and appreciate the taste of freshly baked bread, and nature, choose the Randell House. Inside you will see a a shadow box within it the plaster was removed and you will see how a home was built back in time. Soak in all the history and enjoy! read more

La Casa Randall - Our wonderful, safe breakfast at the Randall House! - Mexican Near Me - Pine, Arizona

The staff and atmosphere or great! But a breakfast establishment that doesn't offer real bacon or sausage and assumes everyone wants turkey bacon and then saves money on eggs by using cartoon eggs. And way overpriced for what you get. $6 bucks for a maybe 10oz latte. read more

Great food and great service at a reasonable price! Portions are generous and well prepared.

I am so glad I found this place! We had been checking out the local shops when I saw the rainbow flag outside, and we decided we would have breakfast there the following day. With all of the hate signs around this town, we knew we had to support this brave business that was taking a stand for diversity! We dined here Saturday morning before our hike. The place is so cute inside! They have lots of handmade gifts and children's toys and books for sale. Staff were all super friendly. The owner came around checking on diners as well. I had the sweet cream latte, and it was delicious! Added an extra espresso shot to prepare for the hike. The sausage is Turkey sausage and was so flavorful. The croissants were flakey and perfect. We were sad to learn, though, that they will be closing in January. It is definitely not for failing as a business, though, because it was full of happy diners. My guess is that Pine is not happy with a thriving inclusive business. The owner organized the first Pine Pride event, so based on all the Kari Lake signs and Trump flags, I suppose it may have ruffled a few feathers. If you support equality and good food, make sure to stop in before their doors shut in January. read more

I highly recommend this cute little restaurant. The servers were very accommodating with our 2 kids. The homemade tea was so so so great. The homemade strawberry lemonade was delicious. And the homemade root beer was interesting, so much so that I kept sipping it to try to figure out the complex flavors. The quiche was yummy and everything tasted like it was made that day. read more

We were so excited to have breakfast at the Randall House. Unfortunately, we left very disappointed practically chased out there by a staff member, (a Karen) We were briefed regarding their rules on how we were supposed to wear the mask between bites and drinks. We decided to leave due to their mask mandate policy. As we decided to leave, " The Karen" escorted us out and she proceeded to make unwelcome and unprofessional remarks. She was very rude, unprofessional a needs training on how to treat customers. We took our business else where, The early bird. read more

Very small and looked Super inviting based on Yelp pictures... so we stopped in and customer service was not their thang. They were very inconvenienced by having us there . We just wanted lattes to go and so they said that they had to take care of all the other customers they were waiting on first so we decided to go down the street and we are so grateful we did! Plus they require masks. FYI. read more

Such a cute little setting! Beautiful lush wild landscaping outside and the food is amazing! Love the petite french toast for the kids and the multigrain pancakes for the grown ups. The staff is so sweet! Especially Braelynne! So courteous and pleasant. Thank you for a lovely breakfast! Also want to add that if you are traveling with young kids, they offer a great variety of Melissa and Doug toys and craft items. Priced great and perfect for traveling. read more

The breakfast itself was actually kind of amazing. There's a strict mask policy in place though, and it seemed like they tried not to make you feel too unwelcome if you were cooperative. Our masked server seemed tense and uncomfortable serving our unmasked party of 3 on the patio, I felt bad for her. To sum it up the uneasy vibes were a little too pronounced to shrug off and might've overshadowed that remarkable meal just a tad bit, which is a pity. I'd heard great things about the food pre-pandemic from a few locals, & I'd been wanting to try it for a while. I mean the food was good, I'm still willing to try again for a better experience (hopefully) next time. read more

Was super yummy, there is a bit of a wait but totally understandable since there was only 2 people working. Unfortunately we didn't get to try the hot chocolate. My boyfriend ordered the house made cocoa and she brought out a bottle of Coke. We even double checked and asked her if this was the cocoa and she said yes so that was a bit strange. Other than that it was such a cute and tasty spot. Breakfast croissant was delish, and the caramel latte was really good! read more

We stopped by on our way to Prescott and had breakfast. The staff was wonderful and very friendly, but the food was outstanding! I ordered their Yoga Scramble, it was absolutely wonderful and cooked to perfection. The fruit was fresh and they had many choices of bread for toast. This place is awesome. Great portions, some vegan options and super cute. Also had a lot of pastries to choose from! I had the portobello "burger". Big and juicy. The potato wedges had an amazing seasoning on them. Friends got a scramble and one of their daily specials, both big portions and looked delicious. The iced coffee was really good, a bit watered down but still had a great taste. This time of year there were A LOT of mosquitoes but they had some candles that drove them away. We will definitely be back! read more

First of all, the place is simply so cute! Love when someone takes a house and turns it into something great! The food was AMAZING. Order the Lattes and hot chocolate. We had the French Toast "for the table" and that was BOMB. Avocado toast and croissants were AMAZING! The service was great! Super fast! And they take COVID precautions seriously. 20 minutes to get waters (after we had to request them) 25 minutes to even get acknowledged by the waitress/owner, and 1 hour more to get our food. Food was so-so at best and definitely over priced for the portion size. Then a 3% credit card fee. What a joke. Do yourself a favor and go to HB's or Early Bird. read more

When we first "discovered" this place a few years ago, we thought we had fallen upon something special and unique. Following subsequent visits to RH we have become increasingly disappointed and have not been back for some time now. RH baked goods are quite good, if you arrive in time to buy some. The owner/baker is aloof and distant and not the least bit interested in accomodating visitors' requests. When I first tasted her coconut cream pie, I thought it was the best ever. We even drove up there just to purchase a full pie after that. We have also dined there several times for lunch and breakfast and even stayed a couple of nights in the cottage adjacent to the restaurant which was nice. The wait service during all of our dining experiences has been terrible. Long delays between ordering and getting our meals. The food quality is sketchy - sometimes excellent, other times mediocre - including cold hot dishes. It is not the friendliest of places so if that matters to you, RH is NOT a place you'll want to visit. We thought we would become loyal fans of RH and we tried but our effort was met with lack of interest and poor service. The owner is not a good candidate for operating a restaurant, especially one in a small town close to other small towns where word spreads quickly. read more

This review is solely based on the service and friendliness not food as we never ate. I had high hopes this was going to be an amazing breakfast based on the pictures and reviews but like others have mentioned service is so bad. I understand that Covid has made things harder but it was almost as if they didn't want our business. We were greeted with a look of annoyance. We asked for a table for 4 and was asked if we wanted inside our outside to which we said we didn't care. She then tells us that the cook is also the server so it will be a minute. What?! I don't understand how she herself or the other girl behind the counter can't help serve? She finally comes back and seats us inside and we never see anyone again. After 15 minutes of being alone in the "blue room" we decide to cut our losses and go elsewhere. I'm not sure how a business survives like that. I understand you only have 3 people working but to say only the cook serves is just odd. read more

Wish I would have read more about the service. The experience was very uncomfortable and rude. I had to ask three times just for a glass of water. Food was bland and nothing special for the cost. Be aware that there is a $3 charge of you use a credit card. What the heck?? Would have been nice to know that before sitting down. Costly breakfast for nothing special food. Latte was the only good part of our meal. Will stick to breakfast in Payson where you get fed amazing food and staff is pleasant. read more

We enjoyed a delicious breakfast on this rainy day! Blueberry pancakes were yummy, egg & cheese croissant with side of potatoes was sooo good! This is not the place to go if you are looking for in and out. But if you have time to relax and enjoy the ambiance of one of the historic local buildings, the Randall House has more charm than you can soak in. The service is slow not by plan, but because of their lean staff and taking time to make everything from scratch! It's best in Spring and summer when you can sit outside. The breakfast omelets are divine- I love the french toast too. And for lunch, I aim for the fish tacos unless there is a special that steals my stomach away. Take the time and enjoy an original and unique place (I live nearby and eat breakfast every Saturday I am town) read more

Iced brewed coffee was delicious on a super hot morning. Came in for breakfast and was not disappointed. Very cute place with both inside and outside seating. Delicious after our hike!!! read more

The 2 star is for the cuteness of the grounds. Non attentive waitress with no ability to answer or suggest what the place is known for. I have never had a more anemic grilled ham and cheese in my life with no condiments, small portion. Tiny white bread and higher prices. No attention to refilling drinks but too eager toclean up and close the place down. The quiche was old with dry crust and shriveled vegetables and a slice of orange as garnish. What a shame as we are finishing remodeling a cabin to come to pine as a second home. read more

The Randall is our favorite restaurant in the Pine area. They are vegetarian friendly, and the food is great. For breakfast, they make the best blueberry pancakes ever. The service has always been good, and the staff very friendly. They did have a strict mask requirement ( a good thing for me), but they have now made masks optional. The waitress did ask me if I would rather her wear a mask (I said no). There is also plenty of places to eat outside as well. read more

Our server was just absolutely amazing and welcoming! The blueberry pancakes were so good! I probably could have eaten way more than I ordered. The hubs ordered a ham and cheddar scramble and really enjoyed it. We sat outside on the patio and the child was able to enjoy walking the grounds a bit. Our server was so sweet and pointed out snails and things she knew a kid would be into. The child also enjoyed a ginormous hot chocolate that was yummy and came out at a kid friendly temperature. read more
