Thieves has stolen my heart. What a great place to enjoy a spritz while lounging on one of their…read morelovely velvet couches. In fact, they have five different spritzes on the menu, which I love to see. Of course, they have the classic Aperol spritz. But they also have some creative takes, like the rose spritz, which is what I chose. It was very tasty, light and refreshing, and not too floral, which can happen with a rose-flavored beverage. Spritzes are amazing but not enough sometimes, so I also got a glass of Cabernet Sauvignon. Yum! The pour was generous. I kept my drink orders simple this visit, but Thieves has a whole menu full of creative cocktails. What you do when you enter is just sit down, and someone will come by and take your order. But if you're visiting for coffee (because Thieves is also a coffee bar), you can order at the counter. I don't recall if they offer food. This is mostly a place to get drinks. And it's a lovely place to get drinks. Thieves is located in the heart of Broad Ripple, which means that parking is atrocious. I parked near The Vogue and walked over, but maybe you can find street parking, if you're lucky.

The decor left a lasting impression and is actually quite entertaining and made me want to take ALL the pictures lol. The server was very patient and professional with me and my heathens. I had my go to espresso martini and maybe more than one but hey who's counting right? Thieves is an intimate and cheeky cocktail bar perfect for date night or a night out with friends.

Everyone who raves about Daisy Bar is 100% true - it's INSANELY GOOD! Top 3 burger in the city -…read moredon't @ me. I came in solo on a Wednesday night around 6 and honestly it was way busier than I anticipated. Service was still quick and the food was so fresh. All the previous reviews I saw mentioned counter service, but for dinner, its table service. The fries were crispy and the burger was juicy and stacked perfectly. Whatever they're doin, they're doin it right.

Definitely one of the top five meals I've had in Indy…read more We came in on a Saturday night around 6:30, and were sat right away, outside at that on a beautiful sunny day. Our server was on top of it throughout the night. My only qualm with the outdoor area is the booth we were at is a two top, and there is a four top about two feet away- we could hear all the conversations down to the word next to us, and most likely vice versa. We started off with the pimento cheese. The bread was crispy, and the kimchi on top tasted authentic. We then transitioned to the birria mandu- the sauce was a little salty which I liked, and the mandu was flavored. I appreciated the pickled onions with it. We then got asparagus- probably our least favorite part of the meal. The asparagus was crunchy, the sauce was a nice touch, but the price for what we got seemed a little excessive. We split a burger and half chicken for our mains. Probably my favorite burger in all of Indy. The half chicken breading was thick, the sauce was sweet, and the mashed potatoes it came with were creamy. I could do without the broccolini on top- I didn't see how it goes with the vibe of the rest of the meal. I had an Oaxacan daiquiri as well. It was strong but not particularly overpowering. Would probably try something else when we return. Overall, the ambience was nice, service was quick, and the food was fantastic. We can't wait to return.

Tried this place as they were a stop during the St. Patty's day bar crawl. Now, by time we got here…read moresis was fairly toasted and starved. Haha. I had the gumbo and recalled it being yummy but again I was starving. Fast forward, I finished my nail appointment in ripple and had t eaten so I thought I give them a try. I got there early as the kitchen doesn't open until 5(not for sure if that's everyday). So I had a 15-20 minute wait which was totally okay with me. I asked my server which should I get: burger or wings and she suggested burger and I got the gumbo. The burger was underwhelming. Nothing special and the patty could have been a little thicker. I did appreciate the freshness of the burger salad. I like to cut my burgers. So I got up from my area and walked to the bar to ask for one. Didn't mind that at all but this is where I have a side eye. My server gets up and is like "I believe there are some back here" referring to their patio area. Proceeds to point in that direction and doesn't grab it for me. Smh. I remind her about the gumbo she apologizes and comes back out with it about 10 min or so later. The gumbo indeed was tasty. Has a nice kick that's not too much. However I could have used more meat. I had 4 quartered sausages only. The gumbo was my favorite and I'd return there for that. My rating is based on the spotty service. While she checked in on me, having me grab my Own knife after she got up did not sit well especially since at the time I was the only person there. And also the burger itself wasn't super filling.

It was also a big plus it is located in one of my favorite hotels in the city. My friend and I arrived right when they opened. The bar is beautiful. It is spacious with tons of seating. My friend and I decided to sit at the bar. There were two bartenders working. Both super nice guys. I told them I was wanting a mocktail that actually tasted like a cocktail not just some juice or soda. The one bartender made me a cocktail based on the flavors I liked. It was delicious. Definitely one of the mocktails I have ever had. The service was great. The drink was amazing. This is now one of my favorite bars in Indy!

The menu doesn't feel as "wide" to cater to more tastes. But the prices are still the same as other Mass Ave cocktail bars. BUT what Sundry and Vice has going for it is its locale. It's one of the only cocktail bars on this side of Mass Ave. Not only does this mean that it's easier to get to (depending on where you're at), but it also means that I've never had any issue getting seated here. In fact, even on peak Friday or Saturday nights, I have multiple choices of tables. (The only caveat I've seen to this is the unpredictable schedule of hotel conferences. If Bottleworks is hosting a conference, this place can get busier.) Compared to other cocktail bars down the road where they're on a 1 hour wait (or the "wait and see if a table opens" approach), I know I can always be reliably seated with zero issues at Sundry and Vice. The music exists, but it isn't overwhelming, and the low lighting and softer music makes this place great for actual conversations with people. They have both indoor and outdoor seating with a large selection of booths. The cocktail bar is inside of the Bottleworks Hotel; it's effectively a swanky cocktail bar version of a traditional hotel bar. Some of their cocktails are draft/prepped in bulk, so if you're looking for something fast, that can also be a factor. And it's right across the street from Garage Hall if food/snackies sound great afterwards.
