Restuarant 101 . Always KNOW your seating Capacity : Reservations & Walk-ins ratio…read more Epic Failure in this area . When you try to appease everyone , you please no one . I had made reservations 2 weeks ago to come see a World Cup Match , as i have done in many cultural places with Amazing experiences . Up till tonight . I was given a make shift table cramped up the bar and in front of a crowded line waiting to be seated . These ppl literally were hovering over me for most of my meal if not leaning on my table . The wait staff barely had space to move around the table so my head was elbowed , chair kicked multiple times by the waiters . The food was 5-6/10 . We ordered Churrasco in a salad bowl . I requested my meat medium rare . Surveying the room , i already knew at this capacity it was a huge ask to get it right . Sure enough , i barely touched my meal . We ordered similar dish but with shrimp 6/10 . Our appetizer was guacamole with plantain chips . The portion served was small . i didn't bother to ask for dessert . I had been to other restuarant for watch parties where the managers knew when to curtail the flow of patrons . For the enjoyment and safety of the people in the dining area . Something for this place to consider .

UPDATED REVIEW BECAUSE OF BAD SERVICE I wanted to share our…read moreexperience from a visit two days ago that unfortunately left my wife and me very disappointed. After being seated, a server dropped off our menus but never returned to take our order. We waited for about 10 minutes, only to see the same server take the order of a group that arrived after us. Ultimately, we left without being acknowledged by any staff. It was frustrating, especially since we've enjoyed your food in the past and were looking forward to another great meal. While the cuisine may be excellent, the quality of service we received made us feel overlooked and unvalued as customers. I truly hope this isn't reflective of your usual standards. I'm sharing this not out of anger, but because I believe in giving honest feedback when it can help a business improve. I hope you'll take this seriously and look into ways to ensure more attentive and welcoming service for all guests.

Mr. Exquisito was just that -- exquisite…read more I started with the guacamole and calamari. The guac was heavenly, especially with the perfectly baked plantain chips...literally mouthwatering. The calamari was decent, but next time I'd ask for it extra crispy. The sauce on the side was delicious: sweet, savory, and had a little kick without being spicy. & now the ribeye? Absolutely marvelous. The Latin fried rice was chef's kiss, with veggies, shrimp, and a fried egg on top! so good. The tostones and maduros were cooked to perfection. The steak honestly didn't even need the chimichurri sauce, but I did dunk a tostone in it, and that sauce was full of flavor too. My waiter, William, was amazing from start to finish welcoming, attentive, polite, knowledgeable, & prompt. I finished with a cafecito for dessert, and it was flavorful and delicious. Next time I may add a little whipped cream. Thank you for a great visit. I'll definitely be back.

My husband and I came to Mr. Esquisito for a Friday night date around 7:00 p.m. We didn't need a…read morereservation, which was nice. The restaurant is small, seating only about 25-30 people, creating an intimate atmosphere. However, the lighting is so dim that I had to take a second look just to read the menu. I'll start with the positive: our waiter was wonderful--friendly, attentive, and genuinely kind. My only criticism was that he couldn't really recommend a standout dish when we asked what the restaurant was known for. For appetizers, I ordered the octopus. Unfortunately, it was inconsistent. Half was perfectly tender, while the other half was so tough it was difficult to chew. It was served over an ajillo sauce that was good, but not enough to save the dish. My husband ordered empanadas. The steak filling was much better than the chicken. He asked if he could order one steak, one shrimp, and one chicken, but was told they don't allow mixing flavors. For my entrée, I ordered the ribeye with white rice and beans and added a lobster tail with butter sauce. The ribeye itself was cooked well, but the sides were disappointing. The beans had a strange flavor, and the rice was mushy and completely lacked seasoning. The lobster tail was fine, but nothing special. The ribeye was $58, and adding the lobster tail brought the plate to $72. At that price point, I expected an exceptional meal, not one where the sides were the weakest part of the plate. My husband ordered the skirt steak with peppers, French fries, and maduros. His steak was good, but we both agreed the side options felt like an odd combination. The menu could definitely use some more thoughtful pairings. We boxed up our leftovers, but unfortunately the food didn't even reheat well the next day. Our bill came to $233 for two people. On top of that, gratuity was automatically added, and there was a $10 fee for paying with a debit card. That was an unpleasant surprise and made an already expensive meal feel even more overpriced. For over $200, I expect to leave saying, "I can't wait to come back." Instead, I left feeling like I had paid Manhattan prices for a very average meal. Unfortunately, this wasn't the experience we were hoping for, and I don't think we'll be back. FYI: everything says M/P on it for Market Price. Which means they can charge you what they see fit which gives me an inconsistent vibe.

I drove and hour and a half but I wanted to surprise him. The interaction with the owner via direct message was fast, efficient, convenient, and so absolutely kind. I was able to pick them up after hours, was given instructions on how to cook them, AND they even followed up with me to make sure everything went smoothly. I CANNOT reiterate what a GREAT transaction this whole thing was. In any case, I got to visit their brick and mortar and it's cute inside. It's clean, fun, and I just loved the mini replica of their truck. The empanadas were DELICIOUS and PACKED with filling. It was flavor you can't find anywhere else and I love that! Originality is what makes people come back for more. If a business makes something you can't find anywhere else, they have a chokehold on you. I am SOOOO thankful they made my coworker's birthday one he will remember!

The flavors really reminded me of home. Their cocktails are also worth trying; everything we ordered tasted great and the presentation was beautiful. The menu has a lot of variety, the prices are very reasonable, and the portions are generous. They also have Happy Hour and weekend entertainment with DJs or live bands depending on the night. Highly recommend making a reservation on busy weekends. Definitely a place I would visit again.
