I've been coming here ever since I was very young. I'm out from work on my way home and thought of placing an order for pick up so the food could be ready by the time I got there. This was going to be a big order for 6 people. The first thing I did when the lady answered I asked "it's going to be a big order is that okay" and the lady said yes. My total came out to $205. The lady then said she was not going to be able to place the order because it was over $150. I had to show up and place it in person. Unfortunately, they have had people place big orders and they don't pick them up. I understand completely, I offered to give my card so they could charge it but the lady said she could not do that. This was all very unfortunate, I don't have time to show up to the restaurant, place my order and wait another 45 minutes for it to be ready. The restaurant called back saying they spoke with the owner and they were going to be able to process my payment over the phone. Ugh it was too late, I had already placed the order with another restaurant. I hope the owner sees this and comes up with a different strategy to be able to process big ordered over the phone. Or at least tell us before ordering if the phone order is over $150, it has to be placed it person and can not be placed over the phone. read more

I been coming here for years and today was honestly very disappointing I ordered a Caldo de 7 mares and these were the crab legs it came with! And when asking the lady that takes our order where is the rest of the crab legs her response was PRICES IN SEAFOOD HAVE GONE UP ALOT SO WE ONLY GIVE PIECES OF THE LEGS NOW SORRY WE CANT GIVE THE COMPLETE LEGS. I ordered a fried fish plate to go from this place and it was a mistake. Firstly, when I opened the plate I noticed the fried fish was mainly just bone. There was little to no meat on it. Then I went back to the restaurant to show them. They said "we are sorry but that's how we received our shipment", and yet knowing this they still decided to sell this to me and other customers. VERY fresh seafood. Like super-super fresh. And very tasty! Their salsa is a little watery for my taste but went well with house made chips. I had a basic shrimp cocktail - excellent, fresh and plenty of avocado. Also tried two different ceviche tostadas - one ceviche, one mixta, both wonderfully fresh and tasty. I think I preferred the ceviche a little better. Only four stars due to limited drink options for a diabetic - mostly sodas, no iced tea - so we had iced water. The parking is tight but we walked over from a few blocks away so no problem. Two thumbs up! read more

My go-to seafood place from now on. I was here twice the first weekend trying it out and have recommended it people since. Fresh food and great prices. Service is friendly and fast. Place is small with only a few tables but I always order to go. Parking is scarce but if you order ahead of time you can be out in less than 5 minutes. Fast and friendly service and the seafood is fresh. Most people go there for the seafood soup but I prefer their cocktails. For being a mom and pop shop they keep everything clean and try to keep everyone happy their homemade salsa and chips are delicious as well read more
