DO NOT EAT HERE -- VERY DISGUSTING EXPERIENCE I came to this place and can honestly say I will never come back again. I ordered a burrito, and I noticed what appeared to be fly poop on the meat. It was absolutely disgusting and made me feel sick. I went back inside and showed the employee what I had found. She offered to replace the burrito, but what really shocked me was that she asked me not to say anything because they could get in trouble. I understand that mistakes can happen, but something like this involving food safety is not something I can simply ignore. Customers deserve to know what they are being served and should be able to trust that their food is prepared in a clean and sanitary environment. I will never eat here again. Please be careful and think twice before ordering from this place. I strongly recommend being cautious about eating here. read more

Amazing authentic tacos rocking an amazing price.They have lunch specials along with famous tacos Tuesdays and even burrito specials I believe for $5 on Thursdays. It's a simple.place that just sells.quality food. Menu is on the wall and you order through the windows. You can stay and eat at the tables inside or take it to go. I had the language (my favorite) along with beef tacos. They give you both the red and green sauce to top it off for an extra kick.I loved how after eating 3 I didn't have that uncomfortable stuffed feeling, I just craved more. Service was fantastic, we felt like members of the family at this great little spot. We enjoyed a full spectrum of tacos and a carne asada burrito. The red homemade hot sauce is very hot and we enjoyed it on the food and brought some home with us. The green sauce is very mild and so complimentary to the spicy meat we finished it all off. This place has a special every Tuesdays, their tacos are 99cents and their burritos are $4,99. That's what brought me in. Not expecting much, sure enough, I went the following Tuesday and I was pleasantly surprised!! The tacos and the burrito were delicious . Now I want to try their breakfast which is $4.99 every day. Usually when craving a Menudo I like to order for pickup and like the friendly ladies to take my order and answer any questions I have.The Menudo is good comes with all the toppings like oregano and toasted chili to crack on the food, lime or lemon cilantro and chopped onions.And handmade tortillas.The only thing is I use a large mixing spoon to take off the excess oil from the top of my menudo before serving it on a separate bowl for myself.The place is very small and parking has only 3 car lot.but I have had a quick Asada Torta there which also was good and they let you have some chips and a small side of frijoles puercos to enjoy while you wait for you're food. read more

Greatest food I've had in a long time from a "AUTHENTIC MEXICAN RESTAURANT" went here for lunch with my girlfriend, she had 2 tacos with carne asada & 1 Dé alpastor & I had the burrito Dé al pastor. Evelyn the cashier helped us out and went way out of her way to make sure we felt right at home,, not just her actually the whole staff was super nice and inviting. Typical restaurant in the Pacoima area kinda no flavor. I had the special of 5 bucks. 3 tacos with rice and beans. Sometimes when I see reviews here that say, "nothing special" it's like, "no duh?" What do you expect freaking service that will blow you away? You sometimes get a good restaurant here and there that is listed under, "hole in the wall" but before you ever go into a restaurant and order you look at the surrounding buildings and the establishment to get an idea what your getting yourself into. I knew what I was getting into because I noticed that and because I did I just wanted a quick bite to eat. I dropped of my truck up the street to get service done, so I stopped here for breakfast. The lady here was so nice, and made me feel at home. I did the customery thing to do once your done eating and asked for the check, she said take your time, whenever you're done enjoying your meal. The owner Doña Eve is amazing & her husband is always there helping her...amazing couple in an awesome restaurant that's been around for quite sometime already...she goes from cook, to cashier, to server...she teaches all her staff to be caring of the customers...the food is beyond amazing...she always goes into the kitchen and personally cooks my meals. From the moment I get there I don't even have to tell her my order she already knows. That's how much she cares about her customers and regulars. I use to come here 3 or 4 years ago for their Quesadillas, never had an issue until tonight. The First Lady who assisted me spoke Spanish, which is fine. I told her I wanted a quesadilla which is Spanish word, instead of charging me $5 she charges me $11. So I another lady come and tries to assist, I paid with a card so there was no refund I guess , I tell the lady I want a quesadilla and she said"she charged you for the dinner, I wait literally 20 mins for my food "to go" and it arrives on a plate with nothing I ordered then the lady who spoke English gets all defensive and is trying to argue, they did offer to make a quesadilla but my then I'm so over it. I just take the food but it annoyed me how she tried to argue with me and I was being so nonchalant, I was just disappointed how the lady tried to make it seem like its my fault. I work in customer service in a high stressful situation but I never make the customer feel like they have done something wrong even if they have. I will never go back no because the order /language barrier. I will not return because the lady who tried to discredit me or argue with me, a paying customer who paid double for the wrong order. read more

The staff was ridiculously kind. They oozed happy contentment. I wasn't expecting good food, but after ordering guacamole she asked me how spicy I wanted it. Yes... They make their guacamole fresh, it was hands down the most simply delicious guac I have ever had, and I pride myself in the art of guac making. Their carne asada tacos were simple, their salsas were phenomenal. Being a little white girl in a heavily Latino area, I felt completely safe. Who cares what the other lackluster reviews said, this place is dope. Be sure to order the guac. Enjoy the family atmosphere, a grandma hanging out with her grandson waved me over and proceeded to tuck the tag of my shirt back in. I got to practice my meager Spanish, laughs all around. The meats here are good so you can't go wrong with tacos and burritos. The aguas frescas are also great. The service however is mediocre. Long wait to even be acknowledged. Once you place your order you'll wait even more to get food. Today I ordered tacos and an order of nachos. I got the tacos and thought the nachos would follow up. So I started eating with my family. We waited and waited and no nachos. At this point we were full and didn't want the nachos anymore and were ready to leave. So I go ask if the nachos were close to coming out. The waitress said she thought we had gotten them. Well maybe if you would check up on us from time to time you would've known we didn't... So I asked to not get them anymore and she seemed offended. She then comes to the table and tells me they are being prepared and can put them in a to-go box. I kindly said no thank you and she still seemed bothered and offended.
