One Sentence: Not for everyone, but if you try it, you won't regret it!…read more I will start by saying I can be VERY fussy when it comes to my hair (as most women are), but I was completely blown away by Ann Marie's talents and results! I have actually gone 3 times, twice for my hair color, and once for a pedicure - all three experiences were great! Ann Marie is a bubbly, and lovely, she's always smiling, and really takes the time to listen to what you want, what you're looking for, and takes the time to explain what she's going to do! Both times I've been for my hair, I've had dramatic changes, and she's helped my achieve both looks, and I've come out with a big smile across my face (I'm still wearing my last time). Some may be put off by a couple of things. Firstly, the consultation, if you're anything like me, hair appointments are difficult to make, and to have to book a consultation FIRST, it felt like I was wasting my time - turns out, NOT - It really gave Ann Marie the knowledge she needed, and my hair turned out better than I could imagine. Another drawback, for some, is that Ann Marie works one-on-one, and going to the salon isn't a 'girl's day'. Honestly, if that's what you're looking for, then I wouldn't really suggest Ann Marie. She concentrates on YOU, and that's what I love :) Needless to say, I am sooo grateful that I found The Loft, and Ann Marie. I will never have to find another colorist, and this makes me VERY happy!

I got finished early and asked about coming earlier. She told me Alicia was finishing early and head on over. I was greeting by the sweetest women. She gave me a shampoo and went over my haircut. She wanted to make sure I was happy and gave me many options . After my haircut we decided to go shorter on my angles. She was very patient and very explanatory. She went over styling it and how to blow dry it. My only complaint is she is very pregnant and won't be here for my next haircut :( which I already booked.) But it was amazing I feel wonderful and highly recommend her! The salon was very cute, the staff was very friendly and everyone has amazing hair.

I unfortunately cannot recommend this salon! I had the worst experience here! Stylist Alicia…read morecanceled my appointment without informing me, after I had sent her a message discussing the fact that I hadn't been completely satisfied with my last haircut. I explained kindly the details of what I would like for this next cut, and that I would bring a photo also. She never responded, and instead canceled my appointment without telling me. When I called the salon to ask why I hadn't received an appointment confirmation, they were very short with me about it, and told me that Alicia felt like she wasn't "the right fit." They never apologized for the inconvenience, or even tried to get me with another stylist. I was very upset about the situation, and confused also, as I had loved my previous haircuts and had recommended Alicia's services to others, and spoken highly of her and the salon. Honestly the whole situation was so uncomfortable, unprofessional and disappointing.

I'm giving this place 2 stars because it is clean and nicely decorated, and the nail technician who…read moredid my mani/pedi was extremely sweet. However, that being said, this was hands down the worst mani/pedi I have ever had in my life, and if I hadn't gotten a great deal for it on Groupon I would be even more upset. I have to go spend more $$$ now to get it fixed. Here is why I think a teenager still in cosmetology training at a vocational high school would have been a better bet: I can see the patches of my previous nail polish underneath the new polish. On multiple nails. She missed spots entirely. I actually had to ask her to cover a spot on the tip of my thumb, and you can see the spot where she covered (but didn't blend it). This looks so bad it is as if a 5-y/o did it to me. It is streaky and doesn't look like the top coat was evenly distributed at all. Essie gel should not chip 12 hours after it is applied, but it did. My pedicure has spots on it that look like white paint. ???? She was rushed and had people waiting, or I would have demanded a do over (or just that she take everything off so I could go somewhere else), but it took 2 hours to begin with, so who has that kind of time??? Be forewarned - do not go here if you want your nails to look good.

Seriously. We had Katie on makeup and Megan on hair. They arrived on time with everything they needed and were friendly, fun and kept everything running smoothly throughout the day. Katie made me the woodland fairy princess of my dreams and Megan definitely understood the assignment when I asked for a bohemian fishtail braid with flowers integrated into the whole thing. She even practiced on a mannequin at home after my trial to get everything just right. Truly can't say enough good things about HHB! Oh, I also had a lash lift and tint by Ashley a week or so before the wedding and she did an amazing job as well. Pretty sure it'd be impossible to have a bad service with any of these talented women!

I asked do not take more than an inch off as she was cutting. She cut off so much I look like a kindergartner who cut their own hair. I said they were too short . Her response - "don't worry they'll grow back" . But in the meantime I need to deal with super short bangs?? Really?? - Secondly she added toner to my hair after the highlights (was never done previously) which made my hair look darker. Why? I specifically said I liked my previous hair color. Why change it without asking me ??? - THE KILLER - charged me 25% more than my last appointment without any notice. So expecting to pay $140 (w/o tip) for my hair appt was now $185. It's ironic that I continually get reminders of my hair appointment via text & email but no forewarning of the price increase. She stated that the price increase was because the rent went up, product prices went up and all the girls here are so good. I DON'T THINK SO !!

I am strongly advising you to not waste your time and money here…read more I am came here twice and both times spent 160-190 dollars on my hair dye but left extremely unhappy. My old hair color came back after just one wash and when I questioned it, they will just tell me they can't do anything about it or that I must buy their pricey shampoos to make it work. They even recommended me to dye it a second time in a week to get the color that I want....which just tells me they just want your money knowing that-that much of chemicals in someone's here in just a short amount of time is harmful and unhealthy.
