I'm giving this place 2 stars because it is clean and nicely decorated, and the nail technician who did my mani/pedi was extremely sweet. However, that being said, this was hands down the worst mani/pedi I have ever had in my life, and if I hadn't gotten a great deal for it on Groupon I would be even more upset. I have to go spend more $$$ now to get it fixed. Here is why I think a teenager still in cosmetology training at a vocational high school would have been a better bet: I can see the patches of my previous nail polish underneath the new polish. On multiple nails. She missed spots entirely. I actually had to ask her to cover a spot on the tip of my thumb, and you can see the spot where she covered (but didn't blend it). This looks so bad it is as if a 5-y/o did it to me. It is streaky and doesn't look like the top coat was evenly distributed at all. Essie gel should not chip 12 hours after it is applied, but it did. My pedicure has spots on it that look like white paint. ???? She was rushed and had people waiting, or I would have demanded a do over (or just that she take everything off so I could go somewhere else), but it took 2 hours to begin with, so who has that kind of time??? Be forewarned - do not go here if you want your nails to look good. read more

Really an amazing place, Ray was so welcoming and made sure he knew exactly what I wanted. Took the time to draw a little sketch of the curl i should expect from the style of the perm. Offered me fancy sparkling water. Did a great job cutting my hair. Was truly an experience for a first time perm will definitely be going back. TL;DR: Good salon with fair prices and talented stylists - I had a very unlucky, unfortunate and expensive experience but appreciate the customer service to remedy the situation. I got a great $250 balayage elsewhere but my roots were lightened and I didn't want that so I came here for a root shadow and babylights. I explained my hair history to stylist and showed a picture of my desired look. The final product I got was not what I asked for at all and was very poor quality - chunky, brassy, and bleach bleeds. I was too embarrassed to say anything at the time. I won't post a picture or name the stylist out of respect for the salon. Later I contacted the owner in despair. The owner was apologetic and offered to fix it but I declined as it's far from my house. I did get a refund and worked with the owner, who was very professional, to remedy the situation and come to an agreement to help me fix the situation. Again, the owner Lynne cares deeply about customer service and assured me this has never happened. I went elsewhere for the correction, but sadly it could not be brought back to exactly how it was before, though its significantly better. The other stylists provide quality work from what I can tell and the owner cares deeply about her business. The prices are fair and the ambiance is welcoming. I guess I just got really, really unlucky in that particular day. I do recommend Lynne and any stylist she trusts going forward (as she knows who ruined my hair) but I am compelled to tell my honest story because I'm still, two weeks later, so upset about my hair, the damage it's gone through, and the money wasted (original balayage ruined plus the fix from my session here - though I acknowledge I declined their corrective services to go to a closer salon - the expensive products I bought to heal my hair, etc.) read more

Ray Tomas has been cutting and coloring my hair for 2 years. He is a natural talent who clearly cares about the end result! When I see him I'm confident that I'm in good hands. Ray listens carefully and will lead me away from haircuts that I like but are not flattering for me. Mostly it is he who has new ideas or modifications for cuts and colors. Ray brings out my better features with smart sassy looks while keeping my lifestyle in mind. I look forward to his messaging shampoos too! Personable and approachable. I have thick and curly hair, so when I heard that there was a Deva stylist in my town, I was psyched. And Dierdre delivered. Dry cut, then wash, some Deva product and minimal drying = perfect. She took out the dead-looking ends and gave me back the volume I was looking for. I am really thrilled with this cut, and I would recommend Dierdre to any curly head. Also, the salon was clean, the staff was polite, they gave me a small goody bag of samples, and it was not expensive, very reasonable. I'd like to go back for a mani pedi. read more

I was going to purchase a Groupon to have eyelash extensions applied and also a 2 week fill and I had a horrible experience. I was told not to purchase the Groupon but they would honor the price. I went in and had my original appointment to have the lashes applied, paying for the full eyelash extension appointment and a 2 week fill. The upper lashes were glued to my lower lashes and needed to be pried apart. After it looked like my lower lashes had been cut to separate the top and bottom lashes. When the owner was told I was unhappy instead of offering any money back I was offered a pedicure with one specific employee. I was never offered any money back, never offered a refund for the fill appointment I never received and I will NEVER go back nor recommend anyone go to this salon for this service. read more

The entire place is very clean and welcoming, and the staff have a very friendly yet professional manner about them which is great. I'm offered a beverage every time I am there, and they have candies at the front desk which is always nice (: Kristen has done my waxing each time I've gone (I've had three appointments so far) and she is quick, thorough, and does her best to make it as painless as possible. Today was a spontaneous day! I called the studio around 11am to see if they accepted walk ins (they do) and if they could squeeze me in. After explaining in short what I was looking to have done, I was told if I came in soon I could be seen! I went in immediately and met Cynthia Tovet, she gave me an idea of how much the service I wanted would cost before we began and I agreed! Cynthia was professional, charismatic and passionate about her work, I felt great about having her as my colorist from start to finish. The prices may be steep (though I understand quality products cost quite a bit) but the quality of service, and cleanliness of the shop make it all worth it! I've just started coming here, and had my hair cut for the first time by Ray. He did an amazing job -- I have wavy hair underneath all my thick straight hair. He noticed, and sculpted my hair to reveal the natural wave more -- something I've never had anyone do before, so I was pretty impressed. And the fact is, I've always wanted someone to reveal that wave more, and was thrilled that he did! He is really into movies and I enjoyed chatting with him about that, as well as other things. Great guy to converse with while he cuts your hair. He also took the time to draw out a hair style he thought of as a possibility. Again, never had someone do that before!
