Got some SNS nails and ended up loving the sparkly pink glaze (not glazed donut) that I thought would project more lavender. Lasted for 3 weeks+. Love these gel nails but after I have to let my real nails breath and get healthy again, it's crazy the damage that happens. The lady was decently good and did listen to my demands. It was a bit out of my way in my friends neighborhood but next time I'm in the area I would get a pedi to try it out. read more

I used to go here regularly, but haven't returned since about 6 months ago, when a nail tech aggressively cut into my cuticle. He was really digging into it, and I went "ow! Stop - please don't do that." He said "oh, ok" and THEN decided to make one last, deep cut on it, and the cuticle immediately started bleeding. This effectively ruined my manicure for a wedding I was a bridesmaid in as it scabbed over, but much much, worse is: after that visit, I got a cuticle infection for the first time in my life. In the months since, it's proven to be a chronic infection and the nail has grown to be completely jagged, yellowy, and disgusting along the edge where the nail tech cut into it. Every few weeks, it becomes infected again, gets super inflamed and red, and I have to soak it in warm water for 5 minutes several times a day until the infection goes away. I'm always hoping that was the last time, then it randomly returns. I am so sick of dealing with this, and with my right hand always looking like trash. I've hesitated to post this review because it was an isolated instance with one nail tech, but what bothers me is that I clearly said to stop and the man continued to aggressively cut my cuticle and cause it to bleed. It is completely unnecessary to cut cuticles to such an extent and is known to cause infection. Please be wary if you visit this salon about how they are treating your cuticles! read more

But to be honest, I wasn't satisfied with it as much as i had hoped. They didn't consider my nail shape and they thinned it out way too much. My daughter had a gel pedicure at this salon on June 26, 2022. The technician used a rasp (cheese grater) on her heel without asking her if it was ok. It's NOT ok, in fact it's dangerous. He sliced her heel really bad resulting in an urgent care visit. She spoke to the salon manager who only offered her a coupon for a free visit as if. The salon should reimburse not only what she paid for the service, but also the urgent care visit. We are investigating where to report this in NY state. Be aware. read more

I called on a Friday afternoon to see if there was availability for a pedicure appointment. They encouraged me to come in if I could be at the salon in 10 minutes. No worries! When I arrived, someone came in shortly after me and was serviced before me. I waited for about 20 minutes while my feet soaked and the massage chair worked on my back -- not terrible. The same technician then started on my feet, dropped after a few minutes in, and then had someone else finish my service. This woman, who was dressed in a blazer, appeared to be the shop owner (?) who was also playing triple duty as receptionist and technician. First and foremost, props to her for being able to manage it all! That being said, she was visibly and audibly rushing. Not really the relaxed Friday spa vibes I was going for. When I joked about getting a manicure, she barked I needed to make a decision "Now!". I understand this is a business, but for me, the hour I spent at this establishment was supposed to be a treat. Overall, the salon was clean, the massage chair was effective, and my feet are looking good. I probably will not return because the energy was chaotic, but would not deter other folks from trying it out on what may be a less busy day. My one coworker considers herself very picky and she said she will make the trip from LIC to come here because she was that happy with her service. We all did the spa pedicure package and two of us did gel manicures. They spent the time to do a great job, made us feel very welcome and also their color selection is great. Frustrated because I've been here countless times and tell everyone to come here in GP. This is the third time I've had to go back after an appointment to get my nails fixed because they're just done half assed. I hate going back because I feel rude but it's just not fair when I pay so much and obviously tip well and tell everyone to go there. I went back today to get this gel French set (THAT I LOVE) fixed because they were smudged on almost every nail. Sure, the smudges are pretty much "gone" but there's unevenness in the clear coat, different size thumbs and uneven lines. I'm too nervous to go back and ask again because it took me so much the first time and I just got them done yesterday. So good!! I always go during the day and have never waited. This time I got a design which was an extra $25 - I don't know if that's for any design or if it depends on the intricacy. When it came to getting my nails done (SNS+tips) It started off just fine once I got to filing the nail the shape was horrible it was 10 different lengths the shape was horrible I asked for coffin and got over the nails were crooked and clumpy.
