I've been to la beau boutique before but i only end up looking in the store. I now have a purpose to come here occasionally. First, the store is located on Makaloa st, the same street where the ramp to sams club is located. There's street parking and customer parking (2 hours max) behind the building. When i entered the store, they had what i was looking for: shoes! Tons of shoes! I love that there was such a wide selection of style, height, sizes (no half sizes by the way), ones with ankle straps, and the like. There were some sale items as well! My shoes were about $75 with taxes and it fit comfortable! I usually don't wear any gel/plastic material around my feet but i did not have an issue trying them on and taking them off. The owner of the store was very helpful with my visit in the store as she asked me what i was looking, what size, how tall do i want the shoe to be, what color and style of the shoe, etc. i would've wanted to look at little more but i knew that i was on a mission to get in and out. There is generally a wide selection of exotic clothing, to wigs, to shoes. I'm so happy with my purchase! All sales are final once your leave the store! read more

I've only been to this boutique twice but I've left with a purchase each time. This business offers products ranging from dance wear and platform heels to sexy yet classy satin dresses and costumes. They also offer tailoring services (I'm not sure if there are more services but these are what I know off the top of my head). The minute I walked in I went straight to the heels and she helped me with finding the right sizings and styles for 8-inch heels. I learned which styles fit in which sizes for me and she even mentioned she could order sizes and styles for me. She was very accommodating, helpful & sweet. Don't go to Leather Lace and Lollipops - this place is nicer and offers way more. The only downside is that the products are a little pricy (it's way cheaper online from Pleasers) but the ease of trying on all the styles and sizes may make up for that. read more

I went in for leg warmers. I asked how much, and she said "45" very rudely like I was supposed to know! very rude and 2x the price of the store down the street, which was sold out of the color I wanted... the only reason I came here. I did not purchase. --- prices are hiked up very high. the owner is this vietnamese lady. she's only nice to you if you intend to make a big purchase... other than that, she is VERY rude. she'll follow you around & say things like, "you gonna buy or not?" or, "hurry & buy already!" she will also rip you off by trying to sell you defected items, saying "that's how it's supposed to be." oh, & if you come in looking for one thing... she'll try to force you to buy something else completely irrelevant! like, no! I don't need shoes! speaking of shoes, you will pay like $100 for a pair of heels & will not even get the box... all the shoes are displayed on a dusty shelf, as is. also, the shop is cluttered... reminds me of a garage sale. read more

(Don't look at me the wrong way haha) I only dropped by here to buy me some pole dance heels for my 'Exotic pole' dance class, nothing too wild. I walked into the store and it's a nice small store filled with a lot of erotic goodies for Halloween and other personal uses. I was greeted by the Vietnamese store owner and was helped out right away since I was the only one in there. It felt like she was rushing me but I wanted to browse for a bit. Since I had work that day might as well take advantage of that and see it as a good thing because I know I get distracted easily and might be late for work. She asked what was my shoe size, what color I liked, and she gave me 3 shoe options to choose from. So I just went with the basic black 7 inch heels and it looks really cute on me! I was looking for a place that could customize a dress for my senior luau. After making a ton of calls, i came across this boutique and im super glad i did. After talking to the lady over the phone i went to the store and she immediately accommodated me. I told her what design i prefer and how i want my dress to look like. She then proceeded on measuring everything. After paying for my dress, she told me to come back next week to see if theres any changes needed to make. A week after: i came to the store and tried my dress on. I loved how everything turned out, it came out the way i wanted it to. Although we had to make some adjustments, it was done in a timely manner. im very happy with the results. My dress fits perfectly and now im too excited to wear it at snr luau. If you need alternations this is the place you should go to. Very reasonable price, great customer service and fast work. Will be coming back for sure!! read more

While waiting for a table at Kickin' Cajun I stopped by La Beau Boutique. From the outside it looks like they sell trashy lingerie. And from the inside, they sell trashy lingerie. Go figure. But wait folks! The silver lining on this tawdry little store made for go-go girls, strippers and "adventurous" women, is there are TONs of women's costumes. Not sure if it was just because it was October and therefore Halloween, but they have an interesting assortment of costumes which you might not be able to find locally at any other store. I throw a lot of parties and many times I am looking for crazy costumes on the fly. I usually order online if I can't find anything locally, but there are many times that I can't get it shipped here in time for an event if I don't plan ahead. While I perused the racks stuffed with bags of costumes on hangers, I found La Beau Boutique had everything from Greek togas to Cleopatra outfits to neon monsters, there are certainly an eclectic assortment to choose from. Prices weren't rock bottom cheap and were actually a bit steep, but considering you can buy it right there and don't have to wait to get it shipped, it might be worth it if you're in a pinch. read more

Other than alterations, this place has all kinds of sexy inside. There are neon netted meshy garmets, slinky dresses, sequins, tube dresses, lingerie, crotchless fishnets, metallic schoolgirl outfits, and as it says on the business card, "sexy dress, shoes, hairs, holloween custumes, bikini and many more..." I was looking and looking for a seamstress to alter a dress my cousin (LisaLumCouture.com) made for me, and I had this place in mind, and I couldn't believe there were no reviews on Yelp! My dress is a handmade salsa costume involving lots of hot pink, sequins, fringe, and stretchiness. Of course this seemed to be the place to get something like this altered. I looked at some of the other highly reviewed places on yelp and I was afraid I'd get judged for bringing in such a scandalous dress to a place that normally does slacks and formalwear. I walked in on a whim and the owner, Han, seemed to know what she was doing, surrounded by lots of dayglo green fishnet tube dresses and fuzzy thongs, I thought that my dress was probably exactly in her element. I dropped off the costume and picked it up a week later--it's lovely! Han did an excellent job. OH, and I totally forgot to bring my ticket with me to the pickup, and my description of "do you remember the pink sparkly one with lots of fringe" sufficed to get Han to say "Of COURSE I remember!" and whip it out! I have a love/hate relationship with these little boutiques with alterations. I love the variety of clothes and the very reasonable alteration prices. But the moment you pay with a credit card, the price isn't the same. You have to pay to use your credit card. Which ideally makes sense because the store needs to pay the bank to have that service. But if you are to pay cash, what you see on the price tag is what you pay. No tax! I'm sorry but I'm not an adult entertainer and I don't like to carry a lot of cash. I like to earn my Hawaiian miles! I just think they should just charge everyone tax. But this place is great besides the paying part. Great service and they are quick with the alterations. Parking sucks but just park at Walmart or Ala Moana and walk the area. There's a lot of cute stores and restaurants in the area. read more

A few weeks ago my fiancé and I decided to make it official! I had a wedding dress in my closet that I purchased years ago when we first got engaged. I tried it on and was sad that I could not get the zipper up. I had three weeks to find a place to let the dress out and hem it for a beach wedding. I tried to look for an inexpensive place that specialized in altering wedding dresses. Finally I decided to bring it here. I went to try the dress on and started to whine to Han about how I couldn't get the zipper up and how I needed to lose weight. She laughed at me asked me to turn around and with a couple of tugs the zipper went right up!! She schooled me on how to put on the dress properly. We took a look at the length and after a few minutes of pinning i was done. When I stood at the register I was cringing as I told her when I needed it by, I thought a rush job would add to the cost. She said it was not a problem and to come back the next week (it only took one week!). The price for the hem was a lot less then I anticipated as well! I went back a week later and it was perfect. Don't get it twisted! This woman is an expert seamstress. She altered my wedding dress in one week's time. It was about two sizes too big and she made it fit like a glove. It didn't look altered at all! Absolutely worth the money. I trust her with expensive garments. And if I need this type of service again, I'm going back. read more

I work all over the country, and this is one of the BEST stores for dancerwear that I've ever been to *anywhere* and the only one I go to in Honolulu. The store looks small, but it has everything you could possibly need and the sale lady is SO helpful. I am really tall and also have big feet, and they had the lowest shoes I've ever found in a store, and in my size! I always come here for my go go dancing needs! I love coming when I have a theme to match, or want to shop for Halloween. The fact that they have a fitting room and I can make sure I look super sexy first before I buy. I have started a whole collection of lingerie in all colors, and I am super proud of my new sexy outfits from here. The variety is awesome and sometimes the owner will cut deals with me since I come in so often and she knows I love dressing up, going to raves and events, dress in this stuff to make a living, and have money to spend on my outfits. LoL she is always trying to make suggestions and let me know when they will be closed. I appreciate the service and good deals. Me and my friend came to this store about a week ago expecting a more clean and nicer atmosphere then what we saw. First off her clothing is scattered all over the store very un organized you are... And shes very pushy and needy to buying her things which i dont understand as to why. My friend wanted to try on a white dress that she thought was cute and the lady straight told her no, but claims that its because she doesnt want her clothes to stretch out in the store..!!! That makes no sense at all because your false advertising your products... also i bought these contacts that she claimed was so amazing and literally burned my eyeball. I was nonstop tearing and it felt as tho my eyes would go blind, im a daily contact wearer by the way!!!! And your tax rate is so overrated.. how can you say 30 dollars for contacts and bump the price in taxs to 40, and you gave us no receipt!!!
