L2 Computers has purchased a few broken laptops from my company through Ebay. They have several Ebay accounts that include the user names 9sky dqsales just4me168 l2orders. I've had them complain about 3 laptops I sold to over very minor issues for a parts and repair item. You shouldn't assume ANYTHING is working on a parts or repair item. L2 then use Ebay and their hatred for their own small sellers to strong arm you into giving them the partial refund that they want which is extremely unreasonable. If you don't agree to their terms then they tell you that you have to pay to have the laptop shipped back to you (which is a policy of Ebay for item not described). I had one broken macbook that I sold them for $180 and they claimed a part in it didn't work. It would cost them $100 to buy that part working so they demanded a $100 refund. I've already blocked all the accounts of theirs I know of. How do I know about all these accounts? Because once I block one they buy another computer next month with a different account with the same address, etc. L2 Computers is also a seller on Ebay so you would think they would not be pulling this. read more

i only write reviews on yelp when they are exceptionally good. or exceptionally bad. luckily, L2 was the former. i didn't have them perform any service, as i don't need them to, as i am capable of doing 99% of repairs on my own. i came in here today to purchase 3 things: compressed air, a special tri-prong screwdriver and an OEM Apple laptop battery. they had all three items in stock. the first two items, not surprising. the battery, every single online store is sold out. also, they sell the item for $79... the cheapest i've seen it ANYWHERE else, if they even have it in stock, is $119. that's pretty much as good as it gets for me. the location is inconvenient, but the prices are good and the people are nice and they have good stock. can't complain at all. read more

My ex girlfriend thru BLEACH WATER on the keyboard of my 13" Macbook Pro on purpose while it was powered on and active, all out of anger, to the point where water was literally draining out of it when i raised it. The Macbook was DEAD. Word to everything , they brought it back to life after a month. They cleaned out everything and repaired the logic board and replaced the battery sensor. Took a while but it was well worth the wait and it was fixed for a 1/3 of what Apple would of charged..Then didn't try to swindle me by saying the battery was no good either. I would definitely reccomend to anybody that has water damaged goods. Simply the best and better than all rest. read more

Three months on and my MacBook Pro is still running as good as ever!

My daughter got water on your 1 year old Macbook Pro. The local Apple store and authorized Apple repair shop here in the Boston Area both gave me a $750 option to have it repaired. I was searching for a replacement logic board on ebay when I found L2 Computer's water damage repair for $239 on sale. While was researching it went to $259. They were a top seller on ebay and I only found a few negative reviews. There was not much here on yelp either. I took the leap. I was not disappointed. I received the computer back in 10 business days and it works great. I took the hard drive out before sending it. I am writing this review because it seems like people like to complain, but not take the time to say thanks. L2 Computer goes by MBSeller on ebay. L2 was the shipping address. read more

AVOID AVOID AVOID! Sold me $400 of faulty graphics chips. Have not offered a refund. The worst thing is they advertised these as new when in reality they are pulled from faulty logic boards and repackaged... I know this because when I opened them there was traces of thermal paste and each date code in the reel was different... That just does not happen when you buy them from a good supplier. These guys are as incompetent as they come. They sent back a laptop that worked for 6 hours, and then went back to the same issue. After paying to mail them the laptop AGAIN so they could fix it under "warranty", they "found" another issue, and decided to charge me an additional $120 on top of the original $120 that I had already paid! They agreed that when they "fixed" the laptop the first time, that it was done "not so good" and that they would correct it once we paid the additional $120. They couldn't simply admit that they botched the initial repair, and were simply trying to charge me for additional services that I did not need! In all honesty, I don't know what their angle is, but this company is sketchy in every sense of the word. I had to fight to receive a full refund, and after I left them negative feedback they called me a "liar" and an "idiot" in their own response! If that's not incredibly unprofessional, I don't know what is. Please, save your TIME and MONEY, and move on to someone who will actually get the job done right the first time. read more

Big, Big, COSTLY MISTAKE!! DO NOT USE THESE GUYS. The absolute worst customer service. The price on my "fix" went from $268 to $693!!! They claim the customer service agent "linda?" did not have the authority to quote a price but I when I spoke to her she spoke with her boss (James) who gave her that quote. Add a new part here, a new part there, a diagnostic fee (never discussed-on phone or in store when dropping off) was now over hundred per item!! Unbelievable! Called once a week for a month to see if repair was ready, "No, still reassembling", BIG TIME RUNAROUND, this one has to ask that one and this one doesn't have the authority, what the hell is going on at this place? WILL NEVER USE THIS PLACE AGAIN! read more

I brought my Dell Inspiron laptop in to them to have the hinges repaired. They tell me it would take 1 week to order the replacement parts and that I should leave my computer with them. That was the first problem - why should I have to leave my computer with them while they order the parts?? Finally they let me pay for the parts in advance and take my computer with me. 1 week passes so I call them and find the parts aren't in. Two weeks pass and I call them and the parts still aren't in. They blame UPS and make no apology to me. I wait another half week and call them and they tell me the parts still aren't in. They tell me they'll have their manager call me to explain the delay. Needless to say, no one calls me back. Finally after 3 weeks the parts came in. They make no apologies to me for the delay, nor give me an explanation. So, bottom line, there are very rude people here and I won't be giving them any more business. read more

This business is a FRAUD and is out to embezzle your money- that's it. Sent a computer for their advertised $200 flat fee repair in November 2013, and was promised that the repair would be completed in a maximum of 3 weeks. After the first month passed, I literally had to call and email this company EVERY SINGLE DAY, and almost never received an answer to the phone or a response email- NEVER received a return call from all of my messages. Tracked my UPS package, and according to UPS it was delivered to a residence, not even a business address. After two months had passed, the company contacted me to let me know that I needed to pay an additional $250 to receive the computer back. They claimed the screen and wifi antennas were broken, and when I sent the computer in, neither of these were broken. Ended up talking them down to another $200, which was TWICE the amount the repair was supposed to cost, and how much was advertised and quoted to me as costing. They finally sent the computer back almost three months later, and IT WOULD NOT EVEN TURN ON. Completely broken. Contacted company, took FOREVER to get them to respond. They had me send the computer back and promised "expedited" repair. Weeks later, I finally received the computer back (yesterday) and IT WILL NOT EVEN TURN ON. They basically fried my computer and charged me double what they claimed it would cost, and now it does not even work at all. Initiated paypal disputes and the vendor has blocked every one and refuses to refund my money SCAM SCAM SCAM SCAM SCAM SCAM. WHATEVER YOU DO, DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH L2 COMPUTERS! read more

terrible and a complete waste of time. brought my macbook there to be fixed. they told me it would take a week. it took three weeks. i picked it up, still not working, same problem. brought it back, they told me 5 days. after eight days, picked computer up, still not working and they gave me my money back. so just a complete waste of time. they bullcrap you if you call, but most of the time they don't even answer the phone. read more
