I brought the phone into the store on Labor Day, was greeted by Robert who confirmed the on line price quote to be valid. He said the phone would require 3 days for the repair as 1) it needed to have the charging port soldered and since it was labor day, and the technician who does that part of the repair was not available, work would not begin until next business day. Robert did say he would try. To my complete surprise the phone was ready in two days. Robert emailed me and also left a message for me on my land line. When discussing the phone repair on this phone and chatting about some other repairs I need done on other equipment, what I especially liked about Robert is that he said 'if I can't fix it, I will tell you'. I liked everything about doing business with Sheepshead Bay Wireless and oh... I did not mention... The price was very reasonable and before coming to SHBW I had been to two other shops where they told me they would not do the repair needed. They said the phone was to old to change the charging port and tried to move me in the direction of purchasing a new phone. Robert did not even lean toward that route. He said he could fix it and he did.

Cyber on U was the first store. Max was in constant communication. The change out was done in under 5 minutes. Max even showed me that I have space to add a hard drive. The price was also good. I am considering to go back for a cracked iPad. However, I know I have a place for my clumsy self if anymore of my electronics need some TLC.

My ipad mini dropped by accident and the screen was cracked. It was still working fine except the glass was broken and you could easily get cut. Again, everything was working like normal and the screen was just cracked..that's all. The ipad was brought in for repair on a dead battery because I forgot to charge it. I get a call from the guy here who said the ipad was charged up and the crack actually caused a black spot on the screen. If I wanted this fixed it's an extra $75. I told him I played with the ipad numerous times after it fell and there was no black spot. He stayed quiet. He probably thought I never saw the screen after it fell...not the case. I told him no, dont fix it and I'll see what he's talking about when I pick it up. Went the next day to pick up and saw the round black spot. I told him this was not there when it fell. Again, he said nothing. I told him how did the black spot appear and he said from the drop. Um, no thats not the case and I told him this wasn't there. Again, he said nothing. Once I got home my husband was very upset and called the location. He spoke to the guy and told him this was a crappy job he did and asked how the spot appeared. He actually told my husband the spot got worse after he opened the ipad to fix it. Clearly the spot appeared after you attempted to fix the glass. Why should we pay to fix your mistake????!!!! He never offered to fix his mess. What kind of customer service do you provide? None apparently. We actually thought bringing my device here was a mistake and we shouldve went to kings plaza mall and had the kiosk people fix it or even my neighborhood guy who does good work with apple products. Now, I have to pay double to fix his mistake. I will not leave this here, I'll be looking to file a complaint with this so called company. I will post a picture of the spot he caused on my ipad.

They will order charging port and they will fix it for me. The charging port came on Tuesday and they fixed today. I brought it in at 9am and they fix around 12:30pm. It was pretty fast. They are very knowledgeable and friendly. I would definitely come back if I have any more problem. Thank you for your service.

Fast and friendly service! I have a Huawei phone with a cracked screen and since they don't…read morenormally carry this brand, they were able to order the screen for me within 4 days. I messaged them on Yelp and they were very responsive. They also had the lowest quote and fastest delivery time compared to other places which told me about 1-2 weeks. I went in to put a deposit so that they could order the screen for me. 4 days later they messaged me and told me I can come in to fix my screen. When i went in there, they said it'll take like 40 minutes to fix so I decided to have lunch around the area and came back for my phone afterwards. Phone screen was fixed. New screen is responsive to touch. Color is not bad either altho there is a small spot on the screen which is somewhat brighter. Its not really noticeable for me so I don't really care. Phone screen protector and case was supposed to be free, but since they don't normally carry Huawei products, I got a free case for my sister instead who had a Samsung phone.

I took my Iphone 6 Plus here because my original quote through yelp for this place was the most reasonable. When I went to actually get the work done, the man I met with said that the home button needed to be replaced as well. This brought the price up by $30. Okay fine. Only thing is, he failed to tell me that the replacement button 1. Would not function the same as the original 2. Would not support touch ID. I got my phone back and not only did the home button not work, but the sensor (near the front camera) did not work either. Whenever, I made a call and placed the phone to my ear, it would not know to turn the screen off, so I ended up "ear dialing" other contacts while already on the phone. I took the phone back complaining about the issues and the gentleman who repaired it insisted that I had had some prior repairs which contributed to the sensor not working. He also said he forgot to tell me that touch ID would not work on the replacement home button. He offered to put my old screen back on and return my money. He sifted through cracked screens and produced what he insisted was my original cracked screen. It was not my screen, my screen was so destroyed that it could not be reattached. This was why I was so confused that he would offer to put it back on. After saying repeated that the mildly cracked screen he had pulled out was "100 percent" my original screen, I asked him to look again. He finally found my actual screen which had chunks of glass falling off(as I remembered it) and said oh, okay, here is your screen. When he pulled off the new screen, he found that there was a sticker covering the sensor and that was why it was not working. He apologized and asked if I wanted to proceed with putting the old screen back on now that he'd realized the issue. I told him it was fine to keep the new screen on, as long as the sensor worked correctly. All in all it was a huge hassle, and I have to press home repeatedly AND hold my phone at a certain position to get it to turn on from sleep mode. Hopefully, I'll never be in an emergency situation where I need my phone to make a call right away.
