I came in wanting food. Wasn't breakfast but I didn't want Lunch. So I had this breakfast thing…read more It came with potato nugs, two bacon, 2 eggs, two toast, and a salad and I added avocado. I think I paid almost $27. I was really not impressed. The nugs. Tasted great. Half was still luke warm INSIDE the potatos so I'm guessing re heat on the pan etc. half hot. Half sorta warm. The bacon. Can anyone complain about bacon? It was great. The eggs... I liked the eggs but I wish they threw that on top of the bread. Because a wooden fork that doesn't pick up nothing. It was a mess to get the sunny off the take out container bottom. Otherwise the eggs was great. The toast... well I wasn't a fan of it. Maybe if it had been packed on the side in a bag I might of. I don't know. It wasn't great and it tasted sweet cuz of the salad they put on the other side of the bread in the box. I didn't like the salad. I don't like sweet salads and the dressing ruined the bread. Yep so the salad. The ingredients in the salad was fine. I just didn't like the dressing. Had this been dressing on the side I would have liked the salad. The avocado. I paid $3 for half an avocado. I wouldn't so much complain about that. If the whole meal itself wasn't such hit and miss. But overall. $27 including a $3 tip I was not impressed for what I got. And I'd dare say the highlight was the potatos even though half of the wasn't even hot. I would of really enjoyed the eggs if there was a way to get them on the toast (without the dressing contamination) without the egg breaking before I could get it on the toast (sunny side up) While I work practically next door, I can't say I would do this order again. Service was fast. For take out. Less than 10 mins. But I think I'd of prefer to wait 2 more mins if the potatos would of been reheated through

It was 4 of us and we got a table right away without a reservation on a Saturday afternoon. Their ambiance is sheek and minimalistic! A good place to relax with friends, it's definitely more of a cafe vibe. You have to go upfront to place your order and then take a seat. We ordered their shakshuka from their brunch menu - it was pretty good! The sourdough bread was amazing!! We also got their chicken sando which came with buttermilk chicken, salad, and pickles. Really liked it!! Would recommend :)

First off people here a genuinely friendly, big smiles from the lady Boss and warm welcome from other staffs once we stepped inside, menu is simple and yet full of choices! Since we love grilled meats, we decided to go for the Platter for 2, oh wow, when it came out, I thought I was Fred Flintstone! Anyways, I have not had pork in Greek cooking that often, and was eager to try their Pork Souvlaki, one bite and I am hooked ( not many Greek places offers pork on their menus ), other items on the platter : Chicken Souvlaki, grilled Lamb Shoulder, Beef Patties, Pork Sausages, all came fresh off the grill with delicious char flavours! Oh and their fresh cut fries are also outstanding! For $65.00 this is a great value for such a generous portion of quality meats! As for sweets, please please try their Portokalopita ( Greek Orange Cake ) its a super super moist orange cake that goes well with a cup of coffee! Our Server Jack makes you feel relaxed and also very helpful with giving you recommendations plus a sense of humour! Street paid parking available, and if you venture into the side streets you may find free parking on your lucky day!

A big thank you to Mallory and the kitchen staff! This review is 3 months late, but even a few months later, we remember our meal like it was yesterday and can't wait to return the next time we're in Vancouver. Getting to experience a Michelin Guide-recommended vegan restaurant was one of the highlights of our trip! We had (from the June 2025 menu): the Bread, the Broccolini, the Chickpea Tofu, and the Potato Cavatelli. Not a single crumb, morsel, drizzle of sauce, or even pea was left on the plates! Every bite was so full of flavor and decadent, we were so sad when the meal was over ;) The stand-out though was the Chickpea Tofu, the best tofu we've ever had and it seemed to just melt in your mouth. We also loved sitting at the bar that overlooks the open kitchen. They offer those seats for guests who want a more immersive, interactive dining experience. It was really cool to watch the chefs create each masterpiece. Overall a truly memorable and delicious experience!

It was really awesome to try so many different types of cider. We also enjoyed the well made vegan menu and shared: Burger with side of poutine - the burger was very tasty, and the fries were top notch. The mushroom gravy was a bit too heavy on the corn starch or whatever thickener they used, making it weirdly gummy, and was somewhat lacking in flavour. But otherwise this was quite good. Jackfruit Tacos - we ordered an extra one. This was decent, but a bit underwhelming for me. The ingredients were fresh. As for the Pottery Night, that was fun! Anais, who runs the event was very kind and patient, and gave us guidance along the way. I ran out of steam after making a few Christmas ornaments, so my husband used the rest of my clay for his projects (ashtrays). I recommend signing up the next time they do this!

If I had to find a fault I would say the fries could be a little crisper. They have 19 ciders on draught, which are available by the 12oz or as a 4x4oz flight. I recommend doing the flight, as there are so many delicious flavours of ciders that this is the best way to try many. There is a small outside patio, and reasonable sized seating area inside. We were there mid-week for a late lunch, so they werent too crowded, but I can imagine this place is very popular in the evening and weekends. It's also a convenient short walk to Kitsilano beach. What better way to cool off after some sun than some cold cider!

The pot pie is edible! My friend is celiac and 100% cannot eat here so when we come for music or trivia they can only have a few drinks. The service can be hit or miss. It seems like every time they have a good staff member they end up leaving within a year. Only the not great ones stay. One of the female servers has a downright crap attitude and the super tattooed guy with the mullet is moody af and you never know if he's gonna be nice or not. BUT ... this pub is great for the music! It's also great if you just want to have a quiet pint on a rainy Vancouver day. No other pub like it left in the city so I keep coming back. I order the crappy food and the drinks so we can keep the pub. It would be great if we could enjoy good food, drinks and music, but we'll take what we can get.

NOT SO HAPPY HAPPY HOUR…read more We popped into the Wolf and Hound Irish Pub, which boasts on its website that it's "a good place to hide from the yogis" (not the smartest way to endear itself to this particular neighbourhood!) for some mid-afternoon scran. Between the two of us we ordered deep-fried pickles, poutine, "slow-roasted Angus beef yorkies with crisp onions and au jus", a side of fries and one soft drink. For $8, we got 4 slices of dill pickle (likely one pickle in total) breaded and deep-fried with ranch dip. This was the most successful item because it seemed to be freshly made and hot. At $2 a piece it was wildly overpriced. The mini poutine ($7) was disappointing. The chips were okay, but the cheese was clearly not the required "squeakers", more likely plain old mozzarella, and the gravy was oddly flavoured and unsatisfying. Half of it was left in the bowl uneaten. The so-called yorkies ($9) with so-called slow-roasted Angus beef were a joke. Straight out of the freezer via the microwave without a doubt. The two tiny yorkies were flat and tough. If they'd ever had the famous yorkie puff and lightness it was long gone. The beef was tough and lifeless. And the "au jus" - extremely salty and my guess is it was, not long ago, a powder in a packet to which hot water was added before arriving at our table in a tiny pitcher. I would honestly be embarrassed to serve that dish to anyone. The side chips ($4) were adequate. They arrived hot, at least. One soft drink ($3.25) was served in a glass with a few small ice cubes. It was not cold. At least we didn't get a can plopped down in front of us like at many places. Service: he took our order and he delivered it to our table. No inquiry how everything was, no "Would you like anything else?" No "How was everything?" when we paid. (We gave up waiting for a bill at the table and went to the bar to pay.) He seemed to be the only server in the place and there were several people at the bar, so perhaps they kept him busy. Servings were small and are perhaps mini versions of what is served at full price during non-Happy Hour. I hope so. Our total bill for a decidedly unsatisfactory repast was $33.04 with tax. The Wolf and Hound is in our neighbourhood and we wanted to give it a try. We like to avoid the chain restaurants and want to patronize local independents. Unfortunately, if this was indicative of the
