A big thank you to Mallory and the kitchen staff! This review is 3 months late, but even a few months later, we remember our meal like it was yesterday and can't wait to return the next time we're in Vancouver. Getting to experience a Michelin Guide-recommended vegan restaurant was one of the highlights of our trip! We had (from the June 2025 menu): the Bread, the Broccolini, the Chickpea Tofu, and the Potato Cavatelli. Not a single crumb, morsel, drizzle of sauce, or even pea was left on the plates! Every bite was so full of flavor and decadent, we were so sad when the meal was over ;) The stand-out though was the Chickpea Tofu, the best tofu we've ever had and it seemed to just melt in your mouth. We also loved sitting at the bar that overlooks the open kitchen. They offer those seats for guests who want a more immersive, interactive dining experience. It was really cool to watch the chefs create each masterpiece. Overall a truly memorable and delicious experience!

Broccoli and zucchini had such amazing sauces on them and OMG spaghettini was phenomenal. MUST order Service was pleasant and quick! They helped with suggestions and I appreciated the explanation when each dish came out. Lovely space inside and had a nice little corner to carry on lovely conversation. Would go back again -- and soon! They change their menu every few weeks.

My husband and I came here for an early dinner before their "Pottery Night" event…read more We each had a flight of ciders (they had 20 on tap)! It was really awesome to try so many different types of cider. We also enjoyed the well made vegan menu and shared: Burger with side of poutine - the burger was very tasty, and the fries were top notch. The mushroom gravy was a bit too heavy on the corn starch or whatever thickener they used, making it weirdly gummy, and was somewhat lacking in flavour. But otherwise this was quite good. Jackfruit Tacos - we ordered an extra one. This was decent, but a bit underwhelming for me. The ingredients were fresh. As for the Pottery Night, that was fun! Anais, who runs the event was very kind and patient, and gave us guidance along the way. I ran out of steam after making a few Christmas ornaments, so my husband used the rest of my clay for his projects (ashtrays). I recommend signing up the next time they do this!

If I had to find a fault I would say the fries could be a little crisper. They have 19 ciders on draught, which are available by the 12oz or as a 4x4oz flight. I recommend doing the flight, as there are so many delicious flavours of ciders that this is the best way to try many. There is a small outside patio, and reasonable sized seating area inside. We were there mid-week for a late lunch, so they werent too crowded, but I can imagine this place is very popular in the evening and weekends. It's also a convenient short walk to Kitsilano beach. What better way to cool off after some sun than some cold cider!

This rooftop escape is atop of the beautiful Azur Hotel. We stayed at the Azur Hotel and decided to…read more patronize the rooftops restaurant and bar. It's on the 14th floor of the hotel and can be closed off if the weather isn't accommodating, which is nice. We went for cocktails because we heard they have amazing craft cocktails, and they do. Let me start with the service because if the service isn't good, it's a wrap for me. No worries though because service was amazing. From the hostess stand to the bartender, top notch. Chris was our expert craft bartender. Not only was he knowledgeable, he was friendly. He kindly explained the menu and the associated cocktails. I wanted a caipirinha which was not on the menu but he made it for me and let me know what was comparable on the menu. My husband ordered the chapter II shots, which were a flight of cocktails from different regions (Bahamas, Spain, Philippines, and Chile) from around the world. I loved my caipirinha (9/10) and my husband enjoyed the flight (10/10). I also had the Tropicalia, which was a rum based drink with cachaca and tropical fruits. I asked Chris to balance it out so it wasn't overly sweet, which he gladly accommodated. It was good but I preferred the original caipirinha. I highly recommend Levantine if you're in the downtown Vancouver area.

The menu is inspired by the stories of One Thousand and One Nights. We tried one cocktail from each chapter and enjoyed both. Oasis is rum-based, refreshing, and not boozy at all. It comes with a huge ice cube, so the $25 cocktail lasts longer than expected. Spain is Campari-based, sweet with a slight tartness, and served with half a fresh passion fruit, which was a nice touch. We also ordered the edamame hummus. It was unique, and you could definitely taste the black pepper, which added a spicy kick. While it was tasty, I felt $25 was a bit overpriced for the portion.
