I have had several wonderful experiences with L Style Bar and Liz, beginning with a last minute appointment for hair and makeup prior to our engagement photos last fall. Weather delayed our photos by several days, making it so that my original hair and make up appointments in Vail had to be cancelled. With not many salons open in Vail on early Sunday mornings, I was panicked, looking for a new appointment with about 24 hours notice. I came across Liz's Beauty on Location business which led me to the (then newly opened) L Style Bar. A quick phone call and Liz amazingly offered to come in before 8:00 am on Sunday with little notice to do my hair and makeup. It was flawless, looked amazing in our photos, and completely put me at ease. L Style Bar is a lovely little shop, dangerously close to my house! I then booked appointments in March for my mom and I to have our hair and makeup done prior to my bridal shower. Again, Liz and her staff were more than accommodating with another early morning appointment for the brunch time shower. Our hair and makeup was perfect, lasted well into the evening, and we felt beautiful. I finally made it in to L Style Bar for their spray tan service right before my Mexico trip. In the middle of winter I was definitely in need of this before entering the Caribbean at the risk of blending in with the white sand. I have made many trips here for multiple occasions, black tie affair hair/make-up, custom foundation (life changer) and hair/make-up products. Liz's team never fails. The spray tan was simple and quick. I felt completely comfortable during the whole process and they pay attention to all the details. Perfect color and defining certain areas. This was only my second spray tan in my entire life because the first one years ago at one of those tanning salons had me looking like a pumpkin This time I received so many compliments on how natural it looked. I am always so very impressed and will definitely be back for this service. Also, they validate parking which makes it so worth the trip downtown for such a quick service. Wow, Liz and her team are off the charts AMAZING! My blowout was the best one I've ever had, and I received so many compliments! My stylist asked me exactly what look I wanted, and checked with me as she was styling to make sure it was right in line with that vision. BEST. BLOWOUT. EVER!!! Seriously. And PERFECT location!! All of their staff were so nice, courteous and professional and made me feel SO wonderful. I've never had a blowout before, and with plans for a night out to the theater for an anniversary celebration, I decided to give L-Style Bar a try. I'm picky with my hair and they did an amazing job! I had my hair done by the owner, Liz, and she was very friendly and thorough. She asked for feedback during the blowout such as asking if I wanted more curls and she added them as directed.
