Went to Denver with a group of friends for a weekend getaway. We had such a lovely spa day here and cannot recommend it enough. We had mentioned this was a special event for our group, and it was made so special. The entire space was set up so thoughtfully for Valentine's Day--everything was adorable and felt festive without being over the top. We were welcomed with pink Red Bull, strawberry mimosas, and chocolate-covered strawberries, which was such a fun touch and really set the tone for the day. I had a facial and brow wax and tint, and both were fantastic. Cheri did my facial and it was truly relaxing--especially the chocolate mask, which smelled amazing and felt incredible. The shoulder and arm massage during the facial was the cherry on top. My brows look so much better, and it was honestly the least painful wax I have ever had. I came to do a Brazilian sugaring service and ouchie lol. I will say sugaring imo is less painful than waxing. Araya was the one who helped me. I used to go to her when she was working somewhere else but I'm a loyal customer so I followed her here. Araya always makes me feel so comfortable and she's really quick. It was easy to book and get an appointment last minute while visiting Denver. The location is easy to find and very clean and aesthetically pleasing inside. My spray tan artist was quick and efficient and suggested some quality skin care products that I purchased during my appointment. I have in between skin and while traveling I needed extra moisturizing lotion. I purchased the strawberry rhubarb hyaluronic body lotion + store crop gel wash! This was by far the worst experience I've ever had with a spray tan. From the customer service to the actual tan itself. I booked this place due to the raving reviews and open availability, even tho they were more expensive than the others I looked at. I actually really regret the entire experience bc I feel and look less confident than when I went in. I called around 2 and the person on the phone wasn't the kindest...I assumed she was just busy. I booked for 3pm. I came around 2:45 waited outside for 10minutes and tech came to the door. She was clearly in a HURRY! She opened the door, "greeted" me and was upstairs getting ready before I even took the first step on the stairs. She did ask about my goals but it was clear it wasn't genuine. It made me think that she was required to ask but didn't really care about the answer. She didn't ask about my previous experience, my skin type, nothing. She went through everything so fast like a machine. I didn't feel valued, I felt like she was trying to get me out of there asap. It's clear they're not paid by the hour but paid per tan. I feel would have gotten the exact same results had I gone to a spray booth, because that's honestly what it felt like. She didn't examine my body type, pay close attention to problem areas, have me lift folds, or go over any place twice. It was front, back, face once, side, side and done. That was it. She was in a hurry and just trying to get me over with. I am about 3 different colors. My face color is different than my belly color which is different than my hand color. My heels and feet are completely different from everything. My knuckles are white and my neck is very clearly uneven. My husband, who has absolutely zero experience with tanning of any kind, mentioned it looked "less even" than my previous tans. my husband waited for me outside of the room, he has a game that sets for 10 minutes, and started it when I went in and paused it when I came out bc he thought it went so quick that there was something wrong...mouthing wrong, I was just done and entire tan took about 8 minutes and 28 seconds when he paused the game. I got there at 2:50 and she gave me instructions, I went to the restroom, changed clothes, got undressed, got the tan, redressed, received some post instructions, and paid in less than 17 minutes.... I didn't feel like it was personalized to my body or skin. She sounded like a robot giving me instructions and just ran thru them all so quickly. Kinda ordering a sandwich and rush thru it. Had this been my first or second time I wouldn't have been able to keep up. When you're standing naked infront of another woman, you're vulnerable and this person will affect your entire body and how people perceive you for the next week. It's an intimate experience and meant to be done with personalization and care, I received none of that. ..and not even a good tan at them end. read more

I got the darkest spray tan at Bronzed Denver by Alison - not only was the tan THE BEST spray tan I have gotten, the experience was wonderful as well. The post spray tan instructions Alison gave me were clear and there was an application at the end that makes the tan not sticky when you leave. I am writing this a full week after my spray and I am still dark tan. I'm obsessed! The facility was so clean and looked like it offered an abundance of really cool services. I've been going to Bronzed for over 5 years and held a monthly membership. I want to start off by saying all the women who have tanned me were always super sweet and kind and I appreciate them all! The last six months or so, the quality of the service has declined. The last few times they didn't have hair ties, caps, feet protectors, etc. a few of the times I was given the dryer to finish drying myself. I have had to wipe my hands and feet myself as well. My tan comes out differently each time now although I ask for the same color. The service and the outcome use to be consistent and I'm sad that these last six months have not been. My mom came out streaky, and it was so hot in there that my sister also came out streaky. They essentially ended up showering right away and the tan was a waste. I've been to many waxing establishments and have had a share of the good, the bad and the ugly. Bronzed Denver is good, actually great in my opinion. When you first walk in, the space is clean, and decorated well, very body positive type of space which I can appreciate. The women here are all nice as well. I've only gone here for the sugaring and it has been a good experience for me. The rooms are cleaned and they have a pretty good sanitization process. They are also pretty quick too and don't take too long , which makes it a lot less painful for me. Prices are reasonable and on par with other waxing establishments. They also do offer waxing too but i much prefer sugaring because it's better on sensitive skin and doesn't damage the skin like wax would do. Definitely worth a try if you are looking for a new waxing or sugaring place. read more

It was my first time ever getting eyelash extensions and an airbrush spray tan so I was pretty nervous, but Claudia answered all of my questions and made me feel a lot more comfortable. I think this is the only sugaring place around here, and it's a good one! -Tara was amazing, loved her -Their wax for the face (did lip and brow) is for sensitive skin- it's the first time ever I don't walk out with a tomato red face (it was so gentle and painless. best face wax I've gotten) -The sugaring was also so gentle that I barely felt it happening -The place is so cute! It's been a long time coming, but I thought I'd finally get around to updating this review from 1star to 3stars. After my unfortunate birthday fiasco from this place, the girls made it up by giving me a free sugaring service. Absolutely stellar customer service on there end. What I love about this place is the vibe, location from my apartment, and how friendly everyone is. I would continue to go here, but I'm not in love with the outcome. I believe sugaring is the best waxing method and I've been sugared many times in my life, so I have extremely high expectations. This place does not meet those expectations. When I'm sugared I always go for the Brazilian with a landing strip. I'm a firm believer that the Esthetician should not be afraid to make you move in weird positions to get all of that hair off, and I mean ALLLL of it. After my appointments at this location I'd find myself seeing random groups of hairs that were missed. Super stressful for such an expensive service. The Esthetician's here hold back too much when they should really be embracing their craft and making women feel how they should without having to go back and shave what's missed. read more

I was flying into town for the weekend and found this establishment on google based on reviews and location in proximity to my downtown hotel. I did accommodate them by coming in earlier than my initial booking at their request. The establishment is quite adorable and welcoming as was the ease of booking. Alison offered great customer service and professionalism. Although my first time to this location, this was not my first time getting a spray tan, but Alison still confirmed and covered all points on spray tanning aftercare. My reason for giving 3 stars is based on some feedback that I provided the salon with of which I have yet to hear back about. I did let them them know that it is important the customer should be given the option to have the shimmer powder applied at the end, rather than being told as it's in the process of being applied. I did not know she was going to start automatically applying the shimmer until she was already in the process of putting it all over. I am highly allergic to it and it took me by surprise as she mentioned this was the step she was on, so I had no chance to even say anything at all. I was also getting the tan late at night and there was no need to have shimmer on my skin. In addition, the shimmer in the powder spreads absolutely everywhere. It was on black coat, clothing and anything I came in contact with. A good portion had traveled into my eyes, causing swelling and severe itching and allergic reaction followed on my neck, inside arms and inner body. The establishments I have previously frequented have always asked ahead of time and have an alternative powder without shimmer for drying. Sadly, within 45 ,minutes of receiving this tan I had to wash the entire thing off to remove all traces of shimmer and did not get to receive the benefits of my tan this weekend. I am a bit disappointed I didn't hear anything back from the salon after letting them know. The owner reached out and offered to credit my account for the tan 8 days ago, but I have not received the credit. I sent a communication and have not heard anything back. read more

The Esthetician included a mask for my first Brazilian with them to help my skin & suggested I try a vagacial next time. I did & I've gotten one every time I go in for my Brazilian! Game changer! Less ingrowns, even skin tone, better hair growth. My spray tans have always been gorgeous. I tried a Henna brow tint & shaping - fabulous results. All my hair removal with sugaring has been great. I really have enjoyed my services at Bronzed. Their little house that houses this second location is awesome. They have a wonderful tanning area upstairs, shop downstairs, as well as a facial and lash area downstairs. I don't think that having a facial downstairs is very relaxing but it was a wonderful facial none the less. I also thought they did a great job on my lashes. The lash lift has lasted 6 weeks!! If you want to look like an oompa loompa this is the place. There was no customization involved in my spray and I turned out orange. I specifically said I didn't want my face too dark and I even wiped it off 1.5hrs before I washed my body. Well my face was still several shades darker than my body. My body didn't have much darkness despite being on for 3.75 hours. And my hands feet, elbows had orange blotches. I have gotten way better tan from a spray machine. I don't see the point if someone doing this when it turns out worse than I could do myself. I looked terrible for the wedding. UPDATE: Owner contact me and refunded me. Also stated they are researching better formulas that are not as orange. I can respect a business who takes accountability. read more

I came in for my first ever spray tan with Hayley and she did amazing! I was super nervous being completely nude (you can wear undergarments, but I didn't want lines!), but Hayley talked to me the entire time and made me so much more comfortable. Outside the spray tan room they have disposable thongs, hair ties, hair nets and few other things that you may need or want. It's super thoughtful and helpful! The spray tan is super quick and you're in an out within 15 minutes. My spray tan came out amazing and I already scheduled another one! The actual salon is absolutely beautiful! The decorations are so cute and I just love being in there. They have a small parking lot in the back which is very convenient. read more
