I purchased a Groupon for this business. When I showed up for my appointment, she scolded me for not filling out her online form. The first part of that form asked for my credit card number before moving to the next page. I don't leave my credit card number on file anywhere and I told her that. She goes on a big rant about how it's normal in the service industry so she could charge me for any future no shows. Well, I purchased two services through Groupon and have no idea if I am going to be coming back. (Leaning towards a no at this point) So I filled out her form and again reiterated that I wasn't leaving my CC #. Her tone and attitude was SO rude and condescending that I decided right then and there that no way was I letting this person touch me, or even spend another moment in her presence. So, if you want to be talked down to....this is your place. Also it's challenging to find and you will likely end up in the wrong parking lot. Honestly, I don't want to share Tonya with anyone, but since she's queen bee in massage and cupping, I will. She is so thorough and knowledgeable that you won't ever regret going to see her. I see her for back and hip pain from prior surgeries and I walk out a new woman. LOVE this hidden gem! I did the City Sampler-facial,massage, and pedicure and it was absolutely worth it! Each service was about an hour long which made for an amazing 3 full hour spa day. I recently went to Denver for a sister trip. We have been needing a quick getaway. Our husbands had pitched in for 5 of us gals to come here for a spa treatment. I was married in July and in order to look my best, I became obsessed with finding a place that can give me a natural looking spray tan. Oh how my fake-tan self loves thee, Spa in the City! Since I tried numerous places, I was typically met with the same result - a color so dark that I had to run to the car and hibernate until day #2 when the color faded enough that I looked fairly normal. But not here- the color was so delightfully golden that I would proudly run errands immediately afterwards. I can't give it 5 stars bc I do think that the color fades quicker than some other places, but their price and tanning packages are the best I've found. Well worth the money! read more

Just spent a 60th birthday with my five favorite women in the world at Spa in the City. Gina and the entire team made it the best day ever! From a full day of pampering with their Spa Day package (massage, facial, hair, nails, pedi) to lunch, wine, laughter and friendship... we took over the place and they created an experience I will never forget. (I'd post pictures but after facials and massages, they'd all kill me.) It was my first time in but we all became instant 'Regulars.' I'll be back to try out the Ladies Nights and with the same group of women and other friends. The incredibly well-priced Spa Day needs to become a line item in everyone of our budgets! Not only is Gina the owner and absolute sweetest but they provide everything from lashes to massage, microblading, dance classes and hair services! It's a one stop shop! I have never liked massages until I had one from Tonya Miller!!! She offers a 30 minute massage for $50. It has changed my life! Working on a computer all day, my back is in pain constantly. Tonya knows just how to get my circulation going, break up tension spots utilizing cupping and electrical stimulation (TENS) to move lactic acid. She has extensive knowledge and experience, including working with professional football players, on the interrelationship between body parts and manages to find knots that I didn't even know that I had. Kelli is amazing! I purchased the groupon for the wax, shape, and tint for my eyebrows. I've gone to a couple different salons to get my eyebrows done and I haven't been 100% satisfied with the other places. None of the other places cared much about my preference on shape or thickness. However, Kelli asked what I wanted and then also made suggestions according to what I was saying. The waxing itself also didn't hurt as much as it usually does and my eyebrow area wasn't red like it usually is..maybe the type of wax used? I've gotten tons of compliments on them, even from my boyfriend! She's now my go-to eyebrow girl :) read more

I had a facial with Kelli and loved everything about it. My skin looks great today (the next day) all ready, I was even told I'm glowing! My skin is very sensitive and dry and facials usually leave me with super red broken out skin. I love that nothing felt irritating yet I see great results. My few breakout spots are already disappearing. I went to Nikki for a facial today and she was absolutely amazing! I told her she should call her facial "The Cure" because it's exactly what the doctor ordered. Her facial was paired with an arm and foot massage, it was so relaxing and my face has never felt so soft. I highly recommend Nikki for your next facial, Micro or waxing. I went to spa in the city for a birthday treat, and what a treat it was. I got highlights done by Tess, and she did a wonderful job, my hair looks amazing, she was so sweet and professional. Then I got my eyebrows waxed and a facial by Audrey, best eyebrow waxing ever, she listens to what you want and delivers, and does a beautiful job. Last was a massage, I went with the hot stone with Mary Jane. I melted on the table. I would recommend any of the three, but my favorite would have to be Audrey and her waxing, I will be going back on the regular. read more
