Hi Abby C.,
This is Blizz Nail to answer your review posted on 6/8/19 before we officially have the ownership of our page on Yelp.
Firstly, we are very sorry to hear that you were treated poorly by our staffs. According to your comment, we have reviewed our cameras (for security purposes) as well as our receipts (matching your name recorded in our system) and concluded that you did really come to our salon around that period of time. You went together with one more young lady (both of you around 20ish) and wanted two pedicures and two nails (one Shellac, one Nexgen) services. We got both of you right in and four nail techs assigned at Chair No. 5 and No. 6 (two for you and two for your friend).
When services were done, your friend checked out first. Our front desk checked your friends' nail quality and asked how your friend thought about our services. Your friend said "good" and left $3 tips for both techs ($73 + $3 = $76 total). Then, you were the next to check out and left zero tip ($72 + 0 = $73 total). Before our front desk could have a look at your nails (this is the procedure we usually do before customers leave our salon), but you have already left. It's so unfortunate that we were unable to check your nails or clarify the issues in case you met that day. It seemed like you were in a rush of leaving us :(.
We have waited couple days for you to call back to solve the problems but you didn't. Therefore, there are some points that we would like to clarify on this social channel:
(1) "He cut them way too short when I told him I only wanted them filed"
- Your nails looked quite short and seemed like they were bitten off. We are very sure that you have communicated with nail tech beforehand but honestly there were not much room for him to cut shorter. We have studied your photo carefully in order to learn from this matter.
(2) "he didn't even paint the top part of my nails (photo below)
- We admit that this was not a perfect job at all but the top part of your ring finger was skin, not nail. Sometimes we also paint skin but only when customers request us.
(3) "completely zoned out (she even let mfoot bath over flow with water"
- Definitely there was no over flow with water, the water of your pedicure sink was high but not over flow because we have watched video over and over.
(4) She also burned my legs with the hot rocks so bad to the point where I was pulling my legs away saying ouch and she just ignored me and kept pulling my legs back to her.
- What we heard from our techs that you didn't say "ouch" and barely communicated with them through the whole session. Of course, you came to our salon to relax and enjoy talking with your friend instead. Furthermore, the female nail tech who did your pedicure was born in America. The English language was not the barrier that she could not understand what you said. We believe that she didn't mean to hurt you if you have already told her stop. Especially, there were 03 more techs surround her, they would stop her immediately if she was hurting the customers.
(we would like to ignore the part you compared us with your brother because we understand a 3yo toddler can barely draw a straight line anyway)
Finally, we have been doing services for years and customers' satisfaction is always our top priority. If you are not happy about our services, we apologize and willing to fully refund. But, we don't tolerate anything not transparent. If you have any questions, please contact us and we listen. Look forward to hearing from you, Abby.
