Been coming to this salon for 5 years. Everyone is very talented and their prices are good. Love the heavenly pedicure

I don't know who's photos or reviews they're using for their shop but let me tell you something, do NOT COME HERE. while I felt terrible that there was an older man doing my toes, he was very shakey so the quality of the job wasn't great, my nails? The thickest ive ever had and I even went through a phase of trying to learn how to do my own. None of the nail shapes match and are SO tacky that every person in my immediate family has pointed out asking where I went and if I paid full price for them. ON TOP of that. When I went to pay, I had my husbands card. It declined the first time when I had added a tip ( yes I will still tip, like I said I felt TERRIBLE that an old shaky man was painting my toes, sue me. ) anyway the card wasn't turned in yet so it declined. Well at that point I had already Texted my husband asking him to turn it on. But had decided I was going to tip in cash, that way I could give it all to the man doing my toes. The lady doing my nails stopped the man from going to grab the older gentlemen ( bc I had said to the man taking my money that I wanted to give it to the older man directly ) she stopped him and had him run my card again. He set it up and after reviewing the charge when we got home, he ALSO added a tip ( the button you click yourself at checkout on the card readers where you can add a 10,15,20% tip ) he added a tip before taking my money. So they got a tip on my card and in cash without me realizing until later. read more

Yes Indeed! These people know how to do a good pedicure! That is really the only service that I get done here but I have been coming for years. I do not use one person in particular. I also skip around and do different kinds of pedicures depending on how much money I have that month. Restrooms are clean and the place seems clean. Sometimes the massage chairs feel like they're getting a little bit old... It could just be my old body. You can sign up with your phone number and pay for 10 pedicures and get the 11th one free or a discount. Prices are very reasonable as a whole. read more

I feel fantastic!!!! There were so many people there getting stuff done and working. We were there 2 hours start to finish for 2 pedis and a full set. Helen did my nails and she did a fantastic job! My nails are short just like I like them They offer 2 drinks per person (alcohol), but since we waited a little longer my husband had 2z Very friendly and the restrooms were fairly clean. Lavie used to be the place to go to get fantastic manicures and pedicures. It has gone so far downhill that when I went on Sunday, January 8, 2023, a fight almost broke out between customers, a woman yelped loud enough in pain from the pedicure she was getting that she got the entire salon looking at her, and me, well my nail tech spent almost as much time filing my cuticles as he did my nails. Just about every single finger has at least one knick from the file. Most have multiple. How did the nail tech react when he knew he was hurting me? He giggled nervously then went right back to doing it. I'm an EMT. I constantly use my hands to treat patients. I use a lot of gloves and hand sanitizer and do a lot of hand washing. I am in constant agony when I'm working right now because of all of the cuts. I absolutely do not recommend Lavie Nails. read more

I went to LaVie Nails & Spa for a pedicure on December 15th, 2020, and I developed a horrific cuticle infection a couple days after the pedicure. I went to the doctor and got on antibiotics (Bactrim) as soon as I noticed the entire top of my toe was red and painful. Unfortunately, after 3 or 4 days on antibiotics, the pain, inflammation, and swelling continued to get much worse. After a second visit to the doctor, I was told that I developed an abscess that needed to be lanced and drained. All of this happened while I was on Christmas vacation with my family, and I was not able to ski because the infection caused excruciating pain, and I could barely walk for a week. LaVie Nails &Spa does not sanitize their tools properly (or this specific nail Technician does not), and I wouldn't want this happening to anyone else. 1st doctor visit- I called teladoc on 12/18/2020 and the doctor diagnosed my toe as Paronychia. 2nd visit- I was told I had a cuticle infection ( doctor referred to the infection as Paronychia too) at Taos Urgent Care in Taos, NM. The abscess was drained and I was told to continue the Bactrim and soak my toe with Epsom salts 3 times a day. This doctor even asked me if I got a pedicure recently during my apt. read more

I was underwhelmed by my experience here. I told my tech I didn't want much length taken off and oval shape. She took a fair amount of length off and started to do very boxy nails before I stopped her and reminded her I asked for oval. But they were too short by then and ended up with round. And she made my cuticles bleed. I wanted some decoration and based on previous review photos, looked like they were more than capable of. I asked my tech what sort of design she likes to do. She wouldn't answer the question so I found a photo through a Google search of a kind of grid/plaid pattern. Well you can see from the photo what I ended up with. And they charged extra for that. They soaked my fingers 40 minutes and still had to use a drill. They need to figure out if they add a paper towel it can be done in 5 without a drill. Now my nails are thin as paper. my skin is rough and still peeling from soaking that long. 8 days later, one nail is chipped and one completely gone. This used to be my favorite nail salon. Not anymore. After this visit I was cut several times by the tech. I asked for a design, and was told it would be no problem. It turned out nothing like I'd wanted, so I asked for it to be removed. When I asked for a different design, which I'd gotten previously at this salon, she told me it wasn't possible. Undecided on whether to come back here and go to my usual tech, or to just go find somewhere new. Unfortunately, due to this experience it's most likely the latter. read more

Worst nail salon. Just moved here and this was the first nail salon I tried. I went for a fill & coffin square shape nails. She kept getting upset when I asked to make them more square. And asked to make the nails a little more thick because they were thin. She said no that she will just put extra coats of polish to thicken them. Worst $40 spent. Never again! read more

Do NOT go to this salon for any reason!!! I was severely cut on my big toe and when I told them about it they tried telling me some "salon pad" would get rid of the pain. I wasn't worried about the "pain" but the infection spreading. I guess they think they're doctors too because the manager argued with me in front of customers stating this wasn't infected. I asked 7 times for their insurance information to file a claim and they refused. I left a review on Facebook and the manager tried everything to make it appear like I'm in the wrong and I did something to it. She had the audacity to tell me I had to have done this to myself!! The tools they used were just laying on a tray and trust me, I've learned my lesson. I'll never let anyone touch my feet if they do not open the tools in front of me. The sad part is they think it's a joke and aren't taking my injuries serious. read more

First, I'm so happy that I didn't let the ONLY review on here (that happens to be a bad one) persuade me away from trying them out. Second, I have no idea why there aren't a ton of reviews... they seem consistently busy. Good thing they have 16 pedicure chairs and at least 8 nail stations. Inside is super clean and neat. Good selection of next gen/dipping power colors. The lady who did my pedicure was good. I even changed my mind on polish color after she was done, and she changed it without complaint or extra charge. (I've never disliked a color enough until today to do that, so I'm glad I asked and she obliged.) The man who did my next gen gave me exactly what I asked for, and I'm 95% happy with my nails. That's no small feat for a perfectionist... lol. If I have a complaint, it is that they did my nails while I was in the pedicure chair. It's not comfortable, and I'm sure the nail tech isn't comfortable doing nails that way... I'm sure if I ask to do it separately next time they'd oblige. Definitely coming back, and out of all the places I've tried here in Greenville this is hands down the best one on every level. They also have a loyalty/reward points system and are more than reasonable in pricing. read more

I used to love this place but the last time I went was not so great. I was charged $80 for a medium length manicure with a simple design. On top of that my nails were cut so short I was bleeding. My nails started lifting after 2 weeks of having them & they were so thin they broke easily. Definitely not worth $80 & 100% not going back there. read more

This was my second time coming in here and I don't know if I'll be back. A lady named Kim did my nails and cut ALL ten of my cuticles and made them bleed. I told her I wanted shorter nails and she cut them too long, so I asked her to make them shorter and she rolled her eyes like it was a world ending crisis and then she ONLY filed them down to make them shorter and they still weren't to my liking. After she was finished, she looked at my eyebrows and asked me "would you like for me to wax your eyebrows?" I was insulted by that and she was incredibly rude. read more

Terrible service! Jody was helping me, she yelled and was very unprofessional. I told her that the color was off and she just went off, never once caring about her customer service. After receiving a nightmare pedicure at another place here in town (seriously bad, should have gone to Urgent Care), I started coming to LaVie. I haven't had a pedicure here yet, as to give my nail bed on my big toe PLENTY of time to heal, but I have had my nails done here several times. The staff here is courteous, professional, and I have never had to wait to be served. I had dip nails done for several months before deciding to give my nails a breather, and every time I was pleased with the results. My preteen daughter has had a full/mani pedi done here, as well as some facial waxing, and they were very courteous and helpful to her as well. Plan on getting a pedi here next week and will update my review at that point if necessary, but so far very pleased. read more

This has become my go to salon. 95% of the time they are spot on with what I have asked for. They always remember me and my daughters. I have not once encountered any rude staff. That being said the 5% of the time they are not spot on with what I have asked has been a minor problem, changing my nail shape when I specifically asked not to then charging for it or charging for changing nail shape when they didn't. My five star review is for Kim, the esthetician. I've always had trouble with my brows. They never look the same and they are very (VERY) light blonde towards the ends...
