No one was at the front desk, I had no clue how to enter the services I wanted in the system: gel pedi, dip mani. I was moved to a pedi chair within 10mins, but the colors to choose from I was pointed to but no customer service. I got sat down, my toe person came over, but I waited in the chair over 15 mins, and 5 people that came in before me got serviced immediately. I was given a bowl to wipe off my dip mani, it took over 30 mins, and I did it myself. My hands cramped, no direction, no nail person assigned. During this time, I was getting a foot massage that did not last 12 minutes and I could not even focus on enjoying it because I vigorously was still rubbing my fingernails. The pedicure was short, I could not speak and ask questions and it was a very stressful environment. She was nice but the experience was difficult. I was then told I need to move to a nail chair after my toes for my nails. I do these at the same time so I don't have to be at the salon for 2.5 hours. I got up mid service as there was no one who could understand me or talk to me. The shape of my nails were misunderstood, the colors were not as expected and even when I showed extreme discomfort, I did say I would pay for what was complete, but it was $34 for an anxious 1.5 hour experience for an important work trip that I can never get back. I had a full blown panic attack and had to leave- please work on helping customers understand how you operate. I felt embarrassed, disregarded, and unappreciated. you are new and so are your customers. *Also, please do not play children's shows in an entirely adult environment. read more

I visited Dorado nail bar for 1st time on 5/24/24. I had high hopes because I have read all the "good reviews" about this new nail salon in Fate. The lady nail technician ( her name is Loann), was very nice, but unfortunately her nail job was not. Right after she finished the job, nails looked very nice. The very next day, one nail chipped, and after only 7 days this picture shows how bad all the rest of the nails chipped. I'm very disappointed with the nail salon job. Between the nails, eyebrow wax, and tip I paid nearly $90. I don't mind paying what is fair, but honestly I've never been on a nail place where right after I get my nails done, the next day, the nails are already chipping, and breaking down. Needles to say, I don't recommend this place, and will never go back here. read more

New to the area and excited to try this nail spa. Convenient parking, friendly host staff, relaxing and inviting ambiance. Adult drinks were offered with a full bar menu which was a plus: nonalcoholic also available. Prices in my opinion are moderate and normal for the general area. My pedicure was amazing, like fall asleep amazing. My nails were just okay, I asked for one service and felt pressured into another. I would return to and will try another nail technician next time. My third attempt to try and like this place. The nail tech had zero customer service- rushed me on my color choice, huffed and puffed the whole time and stated 2x that my nails were too short, cut my skin, and rushed the job even when he knew it was sub par. I've been too multiple nail salons & have had amazing dip on my natural "short" nails prior to this experience with no issues and commentary. read more

We came in very late for our appointments due to unexpected traffic coming back, they were about to close but said we could still come. Everyone was nice to us, immediately offered us a drink. So I love this place... the customer service is amazing.. drinks are great! I love the cooking shows on the tvs.. it's my get away from my 4 boys and it's awesome! I feel my nails are ALWAYS hit or miss. This last time, it was such a miss.. and I'm sad because with tip for my toes and nails, I paid over $140 dollars! I got what I normally get, pedicure with gel on toes and it was fine... for my nails... I always get dip powder.. with length and shape and solid color, but this time I wanted French.. well... my nails came out uneven, and when she put the top coat, it didn't cure... so she had to re do the top coat... no big deal... but it's been less than two weeks and the dip has now completely chipped... see pictures... it happened even 5 days after... I'm unsure what she put on top of the dip powder but k could have gone another week before getting my nails done again, but now I'll have to go sooner. It's unfortunate because I love the vibe and customer service of this place... but each time it is hit or miss. read more

Went in for a pedicure and manicure the day before I planned to have my baby and wanted to have a relaxing treat. The male employee (I didn't catch his name) was rushing the pedicure and then skipped the callus removal which is actually what I was looking forward to. When I asked him if he was going to do it, after I saw him draining the water, he said "oh you want that?" I said well yes it comes with the package. He said he would not do it because it was "bad for the pregnancy". The lady doing my mom's pedicure next to me made a face at him and shook her head no. He then proceeded to walk away and the female employee stated that was not true and she did not know why he said that. It was really bizarre and lazy in my opinion. I told the manager about it and he offered a 10% discount... which is fine . It wasn't about the money but the terrible customer service should have warranted more than that. read more

I've been looking for a nail salon close to my house since moving here almost 3 years ago and unfortunately this one also missed the mark. I sent a photo to this location's instagram of a gold glitter ombré nail with gold stars and asked if they could do the design before making an appointment. I was told the design could be done, so I made an appointment. I showed the nail tech a photo again when I got there and was told it could be done. The nail tech was a little standoffish the whole time. Not rude but not super friendly. They did a good job matching the color gold glitter I wanted but then by the end I was told there were no stars for the design. That was disappointing because I communicated that before even making the appointment. The front desk tried to remedy it and found some stars to add but they didn't match so I opted to not use them. I appreciated their effort to remedy the situation, but I honestly would have just rather gone somewhere else. My nails turned out fine.... They're a lot thicker than I'd like. I don't think I'll be coming back. I think everything could have been avoided if there was better communication. Also disappointing to pay $60 (with a discount) + tip for nails that are thick and not what I wanted. I think this place has the potential to be really good. The space itself was pretty and looked like they had a lot of nail color options and a stocked bar. Just wish the quality and communication had been better. read more
