I did enjoy a pedicure on February 17, 2026. I noticed a very strong chemical odor probably from nail supplies but after a while it was not as noticeable . Bee did a luxury pedicure $45. My nails were cut so short that I got inflammation on my big toe, and she left sharp jagged edges on my other toes of my left foot. Today, February 23, my toes are painful and swollen and red and infected. It was a nice pedicure but her instruments were not sterilized. I had high hopes trying this place out for the first time, and the nail technician, Araceli, herself was lovely -- friendly, professional, and did a very clean, detailed job. She even offered water, which was a nice touch. Unfortunately, everything surrounding her service left me with a pretty poor impression. Despite arriving five minutes early for my 1:00 p.m. appointment, I wasn't seen until 25 minutes later, with no real communication or apology. The salon itself didn't feel clean to me -- particularly the exfoliation tools, which didn't appear to be sanitized or disposable. The overall vibe was also surprisingly chaotic and tacky, not relaxing or elevated. The worst part was the unprofessional behavior of the man running the front (I believe his name is Mike). I heard him rudely dismissing customers on the phone and making snarky comments while people were sitting right there. It created a really uncomfortable environment. Eeep ... my mani is so terrible, it's cringeworthy. I came in with an appointment at 1pm on Sunday with my friend for a no chip mani for my upcoming baby shower, and I highly regret the wasted time and money spent here. Now for basic info: The guy at the front desk (owner?!) seemed rushed and not in the best mood, but whatever, and the front desk area is literally a cluster of chaos due to the never ending unused rows of nail stations and multiple people coming in with appointments booked too closely together. I did appreciate that he had all guests wash their hands upon entry, but that's unfortunately about the only positive note I have for this review. No chip is $39 (random, but close to what I'm used to paying). And tips are CASH ONLY. This isn't stated on their website when you book the appointment, but there's a tiny sign at the front desk. They do have an ATM on sight that doesn't charge extra fees, but that doesn't mean you won't be dinged by your bank. They also offer a wide variety of pedicures that I was seriously interested in, up until my mani experience. Now for the important deets: First of all, the woman who did my nails didn't speak to me the entire time. Not one word. Period. The stations don't seem to be that clean or tidy, and there are personal belongings strewn everywhere. She cut my cuticle pretty severely, and seemed to act like the blood was non existent until I finally said something. My nails were filed SO unevenly I could literally scream, and my nail beds are a mess. On top of that, I had TWO nails completely chip and peel off by Tuesday afternoon (one started to chip by Monday) and my third just peeled off out of nowhere this afternoon (Thursday). I managed to find a semi-matching color at my local Walgreens to touch up the first two, and will be fixing the 3rd as soon as I have the chance. SO FRUSTRATING to pay $39 plus $10 tip only to have to spent another $10 to find a matching nail polish color as I have ZERO time to head down to Arlington Heights before my baby shower on Saturday and I'm not walking around with 3 chipped nails. I would give this a zero if I truly wanted to because of how horrible the customer service is at this place, especially Mike and his wife (owner) who pretty much leaves her business because she wants to get away from her husband. I'm writing this review on behalf of my mom because she has been going to this nail salon for about 5-7 years and was recently "kicked out" because the nail technicians were not vibing when she pointed out that they were being rude to her when she didn't like seeing what was doing to her nails and instead of incorporating active listening they want to be lazy, blame the customer, and send her away thinking this will drive more costumers through their door. No. To be quite honest, I am not a nail person myself but when I had important events come up I would make my appointment here because of my Mom. Every time I would walk in I would be greeted with a condescending attitude from Mike, without even saying anything besides "Hello, I have an appointment today". I don't know if he is mooching off his wife or whatever but I don't know why his presence is needed at the salon since all he does is walk around and make weird, inappropriate comments that are completely out of left-field. What is even funnier is that the techs who are working for him probably talk shit about him while he is sitting there with them, that's how delusional this man is for thinking he is blessing us with his face. He isn't, it's ugly. Some techs are patient and nice but I can tell depending on what day you come in they will treat you like shit sometimes and act moody, all probably influenced by Mike's attitude at work. All I want to say is karma is real, and this man will have it coming. Don't pretend your business is great when you have 2 stars on Yelp, and 4 fake stars on Google. We know you are horrible. Mike is lucky that no one besides my Ukrainian mother has the balls to tell him the truth straight to his face, but his day will come when that salon closes indefinitely. Mike will defend almost all the wrongdoings of his employers because his wife is the owner, she is friends with these people, and even her OWN SISTER Cindy (the shaking hand lady) works there as a tech and doesn't get yelled at by him, even when she screams at her customers. You guys...... take your precious money, and go to a way better establishment because this one is a dumpster fire on top of a burning truck on top of a burning building. Well the salon is clean & they offer a wide range of services, no one there is friendly by any means. Last time I visited, (after the covid reopening), my nail tech did both my pedi & no chip mani. She cut my finger during the mani & it was a pretty big cut. Then she goes "oh, sorry". Like it was whatever. They have those plexi glass panels up & the opening was so small she kept reaching for my hand to bring it in quickly so I kept accidently hitting the panel & she repeatively told me to "be careful." Then I ask for the collagen mani since I needed a little TLC after the three months. It was so damn hot & obviously my finger was in severe pain from the CUT. UH HELLO. I asked her to do three coats & she muttered something that sounded upset under her breath. I know her name but I won't bash her on here (the stilettos she wore must have been like 6 inches). The front manager is never friendly but this time it was some chick who made me purchase the pedi kit for $5 bucks after I was told I could bring my own tools then was rejected the by the 6 inch cutter. Then I paid $1 to book online & was told in the email that this would be deducted from my total cost. The woman at the front desk tells me NO, that that doesn't apply. WORST MANICURE AND PEDICURE I have ever had! I wouldn't even give it one star but there is no option like that! Technician name: Annie (Side note: my hands were very dry and cracked from washing none stop so I understand she cannot fix that prob) Overall job looked like my 6 year olds did it. Nail shape different than what I asked for... some nails looked round and others crooked. Painful filing and did everything in a hurry. Left a lot of cuticles and horrible paint job. She forgot to cut one of my pinky toenails and it looked longer than the others... I had bubble like spots in the middle of my nail when I pointed it out to her... she said oh no it's skin on your nail...I am sorry but last time I checked I do not grow skin on my nail bed right in the middle. While sitting at the manicure station, the manicure station right next to me had a lady getting her acrylic nails removed... mid removal one of the nails breaks off and flies right on top of my hand. I of course Jumped from fear and disgust... instead of oh my goodness I'm sorry I was told not to worry and at least it wasn't a real nail... then I had to ask to have the nail piece removed from where my hand was. She filed my nails I showed her that one was crooked... she flipped my hand and started filing from the top of my thumb?!?!? I've never seen that technique but it hurt. After the cuticle removal I was asked to go sit in the pedicure chair and let my feet soak while she painted my hands... I started noticing the imperfections and sloppy job right away when I tried to tell her that she missed a spot while painting or when I saw bubbles she told me don't worry that a clear coat will hide all of it. She put two coats on my nails and told me to wait for them to dry then she started to do my pedicure... painful and not careful at all. I kept jerking my foot from discomfort and she would laugh and say oh you have a tickle... mid pedi she decided it was finally time for clear coat... it did absolutely nothing to help hide the imperfections. I do not know why I let her continue my pedicure after I noticed that this lady had no training or knowledge on how to properly complete a mani/pedi... maybe it was the shock I was in or maybe I just wanted to give her benefit of the doubt... after the horror was done I quietly walked over to the manager. I put my hands down on his desk and told him to take a look... I asked him if he thought that it was an acceptable manicure then I showed him my toes... I came in with straight toe nails that needed a trim and left with lopsided ones... painted by a toddler. He avoided answering the question and said... if you are not happy I can have somebody redo it... at this point I had just sat for 1.5 hours (my lunch break) I was not about to sit for another session of horror. I refused to do that... I asked him again what his thoughts were on the quality of work he avoided the question and tried to tell me some mumble jumble about the mani salon business.... I stopped him and asked him to directly answer my question ... he finally admitted that is was a bad job however said that his wife would not have agreed with me... I told him I would not be paying for the service he agreed and I left... needless to say I WILL NOT BE RETURNING AGAIN. Nor will I recommend this salon to anyone I know... in my opinion this is not how a first time customer should leave any facility... they should of at least given me a more experienced technician and impressed me and gave me reason to come back... I went to a different salon after work in the area and had it redone... and it came out perfect...sorry had to vent! read more

He's sarcastic and professional. He is direct and to the point. That's not rude. The salon is a very organized and a well managed operation. The staff has been there for years and my techs always do exceptional work. Heather is my go to lady, but really everyone is well trained with above average performance.They have a 2 week guarantee for no chip. If it dings or chips, you go back and they will fix for free. I feel so bad writing this because the lady that did my nails was literally so sweet and kind ... but my nails look like actual trash. The black french tip doesn't extend over the white of my actual nail, she didn't put a nude color under the black, and my thumb's french tip is crooked (along with a few other crooked nails). I also felt very rushed because my appointment ran late, she sped through the process and didn't listen to me when I asked her to fix my nails. These acrylic nails were horrible. First of all the shape was very uneven, the color was see through, you could literally see the clear part. They were very messy and dented. The top coat for nail polish made it look yellow instead of white. And I did not even have them for 2 weeks and they already broke!!! The nail tech did not make them thick enough. I asked for coffin nails and did not receive them. She did not shave my natural nails done enough! Do not recommend getting your nails done here!!! Would not recommend. I had acrylic nails done with no chip matte polish this morning. The technician was nice, no complaints there but my nails turned out really sloppy. The polish is bumpy, you could see the streaks and the square shape is uneven. There was also excess material under my nails from being filed after the polish was applied, causing my nails to cling to everything. Extremely disappointed! I thought I was going to have a great experience because the salon was so clean and the technicians were very welcoming. If I had a choice I would not have paid for the service at all.
