I was both exhausted mentally and physically. So, what a god sent when I saw L'Envie Massage Spa sign. I immediately walked into it and was greeted by a very friendly lady named May. To start with, she gave me an iced cold bottle water, the 12 oz. one not like other massage place only handling out 6 oz. bottle. The decor was excellent. The entrance area was big equipped with sofa, coffee table, TV, water fountain with running water, LED star light, and real plants...etc. The massage room was very comfortable. the lightning was Himalaya Salt lamp emitting warm, soothing and heeling lights. I asked for a 90 minutes Deep Tissue massage with Table Shower. Karina, my therapist, was very thorough. she found all the knots in my body. I was rejuvenated and relax after the massage and shower. I was having a pedicure at A & A Nails next door. My server, Kim, noticed that I couldn't sit straight due to my occupation requires me to sit in front of a computer all day long. She told me the the therapist next door is very good at healing all kind of pains, especially back pain. Since I was in such pain, I said to myself why not give it a try. Upon entering, I noticed this massage place does not look like the other. First of all, they have a big reception area with sofa, live plants and a water fountain. The sound of the water flowing already relaxed me. After I told the lady at the reception what I was in here for, she recommended an hour deep tissue massage. I said "Ok". I was leaded to a massage room number 3 in the rear of the room out of the noise with soothing music. My therapist, Jessica, was superb. Needless to say, I will be back. read more

I was driving on East Beltline Road. When I arrived the intersection at S. MacArthur Boulevard, the light change from yellow to red. It was too late for me to stop. So, I kept my turn into S. MacArthur. Little that I know, a motorcycle cop was watching me. He turned on his siren and chased me. I pulled into the shopping center-parking lot. After about 30 minutes with the traffic cop, I was so stressed out. Then I saw this Massage sign, and decided to unwind myself and treated me to an hour of Swedish massage. The session started with a hot shower. My therapist, Anna, then took me to a cozy massage room number 2. The lightning was excellent, it emitted a glowing, calming, gentle light. This was not my first time getting a professional massage, and Mei was a great masseuse to start off with. She explained the process to me, and even performed a deep tissue massage for a little bit to see if I preferred it, or if I was more comfortable with a less intense Swedish massage. Well, apparently, I like deep tissue, and decided that I wanted to pursue the next 40 minutes with deep tissue. I felt really relaxed, helped with the calming music and the smell of eucalyptus. Mei did a really great job, and I'm pretty sure I fell asleep at some point because I was so relaxed. When I was done, I was supplied with cold water to keep me hydrated, and I left feeling really, really, really great. I have had many massages throughout the years, from luxury hotel spas, sports massage clinics, chiropractor offices, to neighborhood thai massage places, I have experienced all. Mei is the absolute the best. She is a master at what she does and she truly cares about her clients. I have gone to her every time I visit DFW. The first time was when I had pulled a muscle while working out at LA Fitness and second time was just for pampering. She really listens to me and make sure to pay great attention to my troubled areas. She's extremely knowledgable and skilled. I never want the 90 minute session to end! Wow Yelp you are failing on this particular place... if you ignore the filtered reviews you might think this place is bad with just one person who might have not gotten what he wanted (I asked the owner about this particular incident that leaded to this bad review. She told me that this Indian guy expected extra service, i.e. Happy Ending from a legitimate Massage Spa and did not get. He got upset and leave a bad review that Yelp refused to remove because she does not advertise on Yelp)... But the filtered reviews tell an entirely different story. They have numerous FIVE stars reviews that Yelp filtered out for no reason other than that they do not advertise on Yelp. read more

I have been to this Spa a few times and each time am met with friendly customer service, a beautiful waiting area/setting (by far the nicest spa I have visited in DFW). The main important thing is, i have always received the best massage from knowledgable masseuses and felt great afterwards. I highly recommend Michelle. She seemed to really care about helping me and worked hard to alleviate the muscular tension (in my neck) i was having; she helped a great deal and i feel so much better. Worst massage ever! Therapists there are rude, impolite and quite unprofessional. They had a hard time understanding what I need coz they speak very poor English, and they definitely have an attitude towards customers. This place is stuffy to the point I had problem breathing in a normal heart pace, other than fresh aroma, I constantly smell cheap massage oil. If you wanna have a good time "suffering", then, by all means, go to this place. Otherwise, avoid it. Almost forgot to mention almost all pictures posted over the photo section are fake scenarios. Mei is absolutely amazing; I highly, highly recommend her if you're an athelete, she really knows her stuff and loves solving puzzles - strained muscles, pains, etc. And she's such a nice person. I really love their policies at L;Envie - you can buy a package of massages (Buy ten get one free) that don't expire so you're not under the gun to use them at certain times, and there are no binding contracts. I came to this massage spa based on reviews in Google. I was not disappointed. The Deep Tissue massage was excellent, the ambiance was good and the people are friendly. They have a table shower where you can be washed laying down. I have never been washed this way before. I was a little bit uneasy at the beginning. I was afraid my hair might get wet. To my surprise, my hair did not get wet at all thanks to the shower cap that they put on my head beforehand. Needless to say I will definitely come back. read more

We walked into this massage and was greeted by the receptionist. She told us she is a UTD student and works here part time. We both had a one hour Swedish Massage. The massage was excellent. I am a self proclaimed "massage whore", meaning I love them and get them often and have tried MANY different massage therapists. May is by FAR the best masseuse I have ever been too. I get a 1.5 or 2 hour very deep tissue massage. I have never had a better massage. Ever. Well worth the money and generous tip. I drive 2 hours on a fairly regular basis just to see May. Yesterday, I returned to this massage spa after having breakfast at the Sienna Cafe next door. I was treated very rudely by the waitress at Sienna Cafe and was very frustrated. My husband and I went to this massage spa yesterday. The location was good. Although there is some public work going on now, all the stores in this plaza remain open. We have a couple massage by two therapists, Karen and Kiki. They are very knowledgeable and nice. My husband even opted for the Table Shower.
