To coordinate a shoot is a very daunting task, it takes a lot of people's efforts to make it a success. First we need a facility to hold such a match, well Illumined Arms donated their fantastic facility for shooters to compete and the assistance of their staff to insure the facility is available for holding the event , then all the sponsors to advertise and staff, Battleborn group, Vet Mech Arms and the Lyon County Sheriff's department staff to run and insure this event went smoothly. We also had a late sponsor by Anderson renewal windows to support such a worthy cause. All this for supporting our neighbors in need of support with our donations. This was a turkey shoot after all, so turkey's were of course the prize to the top shooters. From what I observed, everyone left with smiles on their faces, satisfied knowing we were doing this for a very worthy cause and we all participated in a safe event.

My life may depend on it! Oh, we have a secret room in the back? What? He would not even tell me what method he would use. "Oh, we have many". What? I'll do it my self. They are patient and really go out of their way to make sure you're comfortable and that you understand safety and what you're doing and make everything really easy. When you get there you complete your registration and rent a lane. Then you can either use your own firearm, eye and ear protection, and ammunition or you can rent or purchase everything. You can rent handguns and various semi-auto rifles for a flat rate plus ammunition, or you can rent automatics or belt fed machine guns by buying magazines or belts, no flat rental rate required. It can all add up pretty quickly but overall the rates and prices are reasonable. I had a great time, my favorite was firing the Thompson submachine gun on full auto, and will definitely be back for the M1!

She has always been afraid of guns and came out of this range wanting to learn more! Alex and the staff were very helpful on recommending a beginner gun and how to reload. They were very patient on answering any questions and super informative on how a gun works. We started off with a rifle and had such a blast that we purposely made a detour and came back the next day to shoot a glock. I've been to other ranges before, but this was the best range to bring a beginner to. This is now my favorite place to go to whenever I'm in Reno. It was worth driving from San Francisco to this!

I called in, they said they'd call back, but didn't and never left a message either. I also put a down payment on a suppressor which I didn't go through with. I went in today and asked for a refund for everything, the guy behind the gun counter was a complete douche....super unfriendly and unwelcoming....scoffing and seemed super irritated at me when I have the right as a customer to get a refund when it's taken longer than promised. I would've bought the suppressor too if his attitude wasn't absolute s***. They even charged me a restocking fee because I didn't want the suppressor anymore. I'm a Marine Veteran with two tours and never been disrespected like this so I won't be back. I'll happily take my money elsewhere and so should you. Go to Scheels where they actually communicate, actually want your business, actually give accurate back order dates and actually value Veteran customers. I'll be sure to let my veteran buddies know not to buy from here. Definitely won't be coming back. -5 stars
