So I go to "The Car Doctor" who on his website states "I fix everything but a broken heart" and…read moretell him about my no oil pressure situation. He tells me that he no longer excepts jobs on engines as they are not profitable enough.... wow!! So then I ask him for a reference and he tell me to go to the local dealership (Better known as Stealerships) Avoid this guy!!! If you want to pay more for an oil change, have your wiper changed, or any other small job you can do in your driveway might be ok - any major repairs he will tell you he is rejecting the job. He needs to retire and let a real mechanic take over the space that will in fact "FIX EVERYTHING" as he states all over his websites Now his reply is full of lies - probably needs a fact checker on his radio program as well. Lie #1 - I didn't drive with no oil and never told you that, I specifically gave you the details that it happened first thing in the morning in my driveway. It shows your character or should I say lack there of that your hanging your hat on this when in fact it was all about you "not making money on engine repair" Lie #2 - you didn't say the word "machine shop" the entire time I was there., simply that you "don't do engine work" and I should go to the dealership. As I said this goes against your web site saying "We fix everything but a broken heart" - clearly false advertising, very cute but not really what you said in person is it? PS - You should really retire as I received estimates and commitments from 3 other shops‍ I spoke with, most who knew right off what the issue was and the job before them. Not one had the comment of and I'm quoting you "I just don't make money on engine repairs" I hope any potential clients understand your living on past experience and they need an up to date shop that isn't turning away work because "its the engine" ‍

I brought my car a few months ago to the dealership and they told me that both my right side hub bearings were "noisy and compromised." The price they quoted me, seemed pretty high, so I wanted to get a second opinion. We did not have a car place up in the area that we could rely on, so I'm so thankful to my husband's co-worker for recommending Carbone Automative Repair because they did an excellent job fixing my car and at an amazing price! Thank goodness I brought my car there because it turned out all FOUR of my hub bearings were bad. Mike said he's never seen all four go bad all at once. He also told me I needed to replace front and back brakes, and I also got an oil change. The price for all of this work was phenomenal - if I went to the dealership it certainly would have been double, if not more! Carbone's is definitely my new mechanic shop. I feel Mike is extremely honest and trustworthy. Mike and his crew fixed my car perfectly and super fast! Thank you guys!

Whoever they had knock out the pins wasn't careful with the punch and hammer AT ALL, leaving big chips all around the pins. I went back to talk to them about it and the owner just keps saying "those are old, I see rust, that's old" but the car is only a year old and at only 15K miles they're the only ones to ever touch the brakes. Don't let the great price reel you in, they aren't careful and won't stand behind the work if they mess up your car.

Originally went to get most major fluids changed and/or flushed: Oil, Coolant, Brake, Power…read moreSteering and Transmission for 100,000+ mile service. All were completed at reasonable prices. However, the day before my emissions light came on. Online search showed it could either be the catalytic converter or the O2 sensors. I assumed O2 sensors and told the owner. He did all the fluid changes first at reasonable prices, then hit me with the cost of changing the O2 sensors... HE SAID $500. I should have said NO but didn't since it was an emissions light. He made it seem at first like it would take hours to get the part and install. It took 20 minutes. I then looked online at what the actual cost was of the sensors and the typical cost to do it... $30 for sensors on Amazon. $100 for labor (if they did a full hour) For a 15 min job and $30 parts at $500... I GOT RIPPED OFF! But after realizing I had gotten ripped off after the job was done the most annoying part of it all was that the owner kept consistently telling me at his front desk area on 4 separate occasions that he, "always gave fair prices" and "isn't trying to scam anyone". In retrospect, the fact that he kept saying these things repeatedly to me as my car was being worked on should've been an indicator that he was shady. IF YOU CHOOSE TO USE THIS AUTO SHOP, PLEASE REMEMBER TO LOOK UP WHAT THE ACTUAL PRICES ARE OF THE PARTS YOU NEED REPAIRED ONLINE FIRST AND ALSO ASK HOW LONG THE REPAIR WILL TAKE. DON'T MAKE MY MISTAKE... Would give only 1 Star but gave 2 since he did complete the other fluid changes/flushes at fair pricing.
