UPDATE: 6/27/19 I took my truck to Driveworks in Jersey City and the cost of a new compressor is $280 and I paid $300 for labor and Freon. This is much cheaper than the original $950 I paid for the same services at Van Houten. Be advised that after I posted this poor review, the owner left me a voicemail "to make me an offer." I am the lucky owner of a VW GLI which comes stock with 18 inch rims and low profile tires. The combination of potholes the size of craters and low profile tires leads to plenty of car repairs. I have been through six tires and four rims. Needless to say, my car was in need of a major alignment. The guys at Circle Brake did a great job. I was in and out in less than an hour and my car feels great. The best part was that they did not try to up sell me into a four wheel alignment when a front wheel alignment was good enough. Terrible Service... Had issues at old location. I gave Aldwin a chance and went back to him. Ive also poured over $400 to fix my A/C and it is still not fixed and he wanted me to pay $1200 for 2 A/C lines now. He had my car for 2 weeks and didnt even work on it. When i called he asked me what i needed to fix on it and blamed his receptionist. Also scratched my brand new powder coated wheels...(he did pay for it). I complained that my coolant was leaking and he said he didnt find any leaks. I take care home and jack it up and sure enough its leaking from the water pump. I take it back to him and drop it off.... his new receptionist called me back to tell me i needed new control arm bushings and when i asked about my coolant leak... he said "what coolant leak". He had no idea. Terrible terrible server. Do not recommend. I picked up my car after a week and nothing was touched.

As I was walking in another fella standing outside told me "Hey, Benigno's is closing". I went in the office which was still open and spoke to the guy behind the counter. I asked if I could still buy new tires there, he said yes, took my tire size and quoted me a price for 4 new tires, $140 each tire. I agreed and went to pay with my credit card he said they can't take credit cards and I would have to pay cash. I asked why, he said their credit card machine is gone. I don't carry $600.00 cash on me so, I left. Bottom line, Benigno's is closing and if you were a long time customer as I was, you will now have to find somewhere else to buy tires in the Garfield, NJ area.
