Came here earlier today for first time. It won't be my last. They made me feel welcomed and informed me about my tires after another location attempted to scam me Tony was amazing and "el Moreno" was also amazing Will return a million times read more

The cleanest tire repair center I've ever seen! They have real pride in what they do. Always very polite. They actually use patches consistently instead of plugs. Worth the higher price to get this kind of enduring repair made. read more

Excellent service. Prompt and fair price. Highly recommend to anyone in Hudson county looking to have their tires done.

Terry Tire was fantastic! Had to get new tires installed, and I decided to walk in to Terry Tires. I had bought my tires online but didn't have installation scheduled. These guys took my car in immediately, and had me out the door in 20 minutes! I've never seen service this good! Will definitely be coming back here for all my tires needs. read more

Tony is a great car, they are very helpful & fast too. It is hard to find honest people in their business but they go out of their way to help you. Their waiting room is so nice, AC is on, it is clean & very cool memorabilia. I've been going their for years, even their bathroom smells good & it is clean. My new neighborhood tire shop! I recently moved to the area and found going all the way to Fort Lee inconvenient, especially when I discovered a leak on front-right. I found this nearby place and called, and a man told me to come before 4:45pm as he needs to leave by 5:30pm. A hop over town, I was warmly greeted and drove into their surprisingly spacious garage area filled with many tires of reputable brands such as Toyo. There was another car being serviced by a gentleman, but another got to work on my car right away after hearing my short explanation. One of the gents which turned out to be Terry himself was doing some peculiar thing with my tire, popping out the wheel entirely with these can-opener type machines (Separating rubber from wheel quickly), and was blazingly fast all the way to balancing and mounting back the repaired tire. I couldn't hold my curiosity because last time I went to repair a leak was 10 years ago and they fixed it by shoving a wedge from outside-in, he explained that they fix the leak from within, which doesn't compromise the structural integrity of the tire and lasts for lifetime of the tire. When I marveled how efficient he was, he smiled and remarked that he's been in business here for 40 years! Paid $20 cash which might have been double what I remember but didn't mind - I was in and out under 15 minutes with a smile on my face. I'll surely be back again for all my tire needs. This is an easy 5-star. Thanks Terry! read more

An excellent establishment to work with. Very helpful, friendly, responsive. The prices are competitive. I highly recommend Terry Tire!

The owner of Terry Tire was very very nice and they patched my tire quick. Great service

The owner (assume it was the owner) was so nice! Greeted me at the door, and I was so surprised at the great customer service from a tire repair place! It's INDOORS! Most of these I've been to are not, and I went on the coldest day of the year so it was wonderful. Very vintage unique place. Lots to look at and explore while you wait. I will come back (hopefully not time soon!) if I ever need tire service and would recommend to everyone Tire repair was $25 and I threw an extra $5. Great experience for a not so great situation. read more

Last night I noticed there was a screw in my rear tire and it was slowly leaking air. Having to get to work this morning, I was frantically looking for a tire shop opened early. I arrived at Terry Tire at 7:45am and Tony, the owner, was there to greet me. Immediately he began fixing my tire while his employee checked my other tires and regulated their pressure accordingly. The entire job was done quickly and efficiently. Tony and his employee were so friendly and kind and the price was extremely fair! I will definitely be back for all of my tire needs. 5-star service across the board! read more

Apparently I don't know how to drive because I've gotten two flats in the last few months. Anyways, this place is amazing. The owner is so friendly! The 1st flat was due to a screw and they had me in and out within 20minutes and charged me about $25. The 2nd time I had to get a new tire but I loved that they showed me where the tear was and explained why it couldn't be patched. This whole process took about 30minutes and didn't cost as much as I thought it would. Highly recommend coming here for your tire needs! read more

Tony at Terry Tire has been an influential staple in the Hudson County Commumity (and beyond) for over 40 years. From my first set of American Racing rims on my 1990 Jeep Wrangler, to computerized wheel balancing and servicing on every car I've ever owned, Tony's exceptional track record far exceeds the other shops in the area. He is an honest and loyal businessman ( a rare breed this day in age), who goes above and beyond to provide the best selfless service and advise a professional in his field can provide. Three locations later and 40+ years later , I continue to be a loyal customer, and rightfully so. Tony's new shop, located on 9200 Kennedy Blvd. in North Bergen, is bigger, more accommodating, warm and inviting. When you walk in, his vintage toy car collections along with his rare vintage and retro items adorn his shop-a true demonstration of Tony's automative passion, a passion that you inherit whether you're a car enthusiast or not. Tony, thanks for all you do! 100 stars!!! God Bless my friend. read more

Very helpful and reliable business. I'm always skeptical to handle my car problems with auto body shops and stuff but I didn't feel that way here. Very kind and are not looking to nickel and dime you. If I ever have anymore tire troubles I'll be coming here read more

Brilliant place. Fast, efficient, no BS. Old school service where they actually remember your name and what you need.....

Very helpful and honest. One of my tires kept loosing air and I had to keep adding air to it every 3 days. Finally went to get it checked out by Terry Tire and they quickly informed me that it's just a leak and they could just patch it. This was great because I thought I had to replace the entire tire! They patched up the tire within 10 minutes! read more

Terry Tire is the spot! Really great service, done with care. And the waiting area is clean!

Love this place. Have been trusting Tony with our cars for over a decade. Honest and fair pricing. The cleanest garage you will ever visit in your life. read more

This is a scam. They ask for money up front on cash apps. For the real Terrys tires, go to Google.

Our daughter found this spot for her tire issues and spoke very highly of the business. We have replaced three tires at Terry's. Great place, fair prices, fast service and they do it with a smile. The crew there are awesome ! read more

I had a great experience at Terry Tire. I used a can of Fix a Flat to get back on the road and home last weekend. I then took the car to Firestone to get the tire permanently fixed. I was told that once Fix a Flat is used a tire is unrepairable. That sounded like BS to me so I took it Terry Tire on the recommendation of a friend. Tony (the owner) did an internal patch + plug repair job for $20 which saved me over $200 for a new tire + installation. He explained that Fix a Flat could have damaged my tire sensor but that mine was in good condition. Guess where I'm buying my next set of tires! read more

The local neighborhood tire shop gives the customer personal service at reasonable prices. Tony takes the time to show you what you need & will never charge you for something you don't need. Once you're a customer, you're always a customer! I moved out of North Bergen but I still come here for my tires & car batteries. You should too, you won't regret it! read more

After shredding a tire this past winter and waiting for hours at the local Firestone only to be told it would take a week to get the replacement tire I needed, then never being followed up with... I found Terry Tire of Guttenberg by doing a Google search of nearby tire shops and Tony (the proprietor) was immediately helpful and competitively priced, getting my replacement tire the very next day. Since then, I've returned to get the other 3 tires replaced. Great service, communication, never a long wait, in and out and good prices, plus a free tire rotation 6 months from now. Could I have saved a few more $ elsewhere? Perhaps. I'd rather save time and aggravation. In this regard, this local neighborhood tire shop wins hands down. read more

Easy, fast and affordable. In and out in 30 minutes even with a line of 5 cars. Tony was friendly helpful and trustworthy. Didn't try to upsell me. I recommend anyone go here to fix a flat or any work related to their tires vs a big chain. read more

My original review still stands true! We had to go back to Terry Tire this time not because of a nail but because one of our tires got a rip due to living in Pothole Central. Tony even went ahead and gave us some advice as how to avoid this from happening. He's the best! Love supporting local businesses that take pride in their work. read more

We got a flat nearby and heard of Terry's from our AAA agent. Of the few places they mentioned we are SO HAPPY that we chose Terry's. They were friendly, super efficient in their service, and went out of their way to make us feel at home during a frustration situation. Their main rep, Tony, was particularly saint-like. You can tell he takes great pride in making people's day. I can't recommend them enough. read more

Any tire problems i have these guys are the best for the job. Very quick and cheap without sacrificing quality. I went to Terry's Tire to repair a passenger side tire. Luckily I was the only one there at the time and it was done quickly even after I mistakenly told him that it was the front tire instead of the rear. He was quite kind about my mistake and also gave me advice about maintaining my vehicle. Just a sidenote-This is the cleanest tire repair shop I have ever seen. I was happy with the service and would recommend this tire repair shop to anyone. Note: Only Cash Accepted $20 for repair/patch read more
