The food is mediocre, service ok, but the $3.95 admin. Fee on a $100 bill is the reason I will never go back! Rip off!

Very very disappointed with the friday special. First waitress threw a menu at us and asked us " what do you want to drink?" Second waitress tall blonde was very pleasant and made the dining experience a little better. had Fish and Chips for 7.99. Clam chowder was good except is was only luke warm and not hot. All 4 of us ordered the same except for two had fish with chips which were limp and overdone. I had fish with Jojos which were so dark and burnt I couldn't eat them. My husband had tater tots with his. They were ok ... All of the fish pieces were in edible because of thembeing overdone. Or cooked in old oil. :(. read more

We just discovered this place about 2 months ago. We were looking for a new karaoke venue since our favorite place closed. We stopped in, and immediately felt welcome and comfortable. Good food, decent prices. As for the karaoke, the host Robbie is a musician ( not sure he wants everyone to know that ), who is the nicest guy you could ever meet. He really knows music, and can help you find a song. He always has the sound perfect when you sing. The people working there are just what you want, friendly and helpful. The other patrons have never been anything but nice. But there are two small problems: The song list is not as big as would be hoped, and the place starts to empty out too soon. Need more singers. If you like karaoke, it is nice because you get to sing more than 2 or 3 times a night, but could use a few more to make it a party. read more

When we first got here the place was packed but everyone had a good time. Drinks are good and our server Wendy was awesome. She was very attentive and we never waited long for a drink. Our food took awhile to get but was well worth the wait. The portions were good. You won't leave here hungry! We had the taco salad which was huge and the taco meat was very flavorful. Never been here before but have driven by the full parking lot many times. Now I know why. Came in thirsty for a cold beer and hungry for a burger. Both came fast and the burger (build your own) was one of the best I can remember. The bacon was crisp and fresh cooked....no stale greasy flavor here. Very popular bar for bikers. Busy even at 3 on a Sunday afternoon. Just one waitress but she was friendly and prompt. Makes for a nice stop on a motorcycle trip. Food is good, but I wouldn't recommend bringing the kids. If you are a biker like me, you'll love this place. If you're a prude expecting instant service and people to kiss your a$$, pass it by. read more

We've had dinner here and it was good, so we thought we'd try breakfast. Mistake. There were two in our party and the place was half empty and it took us over an hour. The server was pleasant and attentive, but the hot water brought for my tea was luke warm. Should have been my first clue. I had to order ala carte, as they didnt have smaller portion sizes; my husband had an omelet and I had bacon/eggs. Sounds pretty simple, right? Our food came about 25 minutes after ordered. They brought my meal 5 minutes before my husband's (very odd), so by the time his food came, mine was cold. I specifically ordered crispy bacon, which was almost burned, but still really fatty, my egg was undercooked, his omelet was "ok", the hashbrowns were greasy, just pretty disappointing overall. love coming down to Orting and coming here for lunch with my mom. the waitresses are always very friendly! the club sandwich with the curly fries is my go to, however, everything I have tried here is good! I did not give five stars simply because on a Saturday night there is very slim to none seating if you do not arrive by 6pm. I feel as though they should not have as many games in the back and open it up for more seating. karaoke was entertaining to say the least. the old creeper running the karaoke over sings whoever was trying to sing. hilarious when you're drunk, annoying as hell sober. overall fun place with great food! read more

Hubby and I stopped by for dinner and a drink. Service was very slow. Order was 'kind of' correct (breaded chicken instead of grilled & runny egg instead of non-runny egg). This was my first visit and it was truly disappointing. I had the fish and chips. The "Home Fries" or chips were soggy, limp and pencil thin. The portion size of the fries was large (but large servings of soggy fries are still soggy fries), nasty. The fish was crisp and hot, but it was for the most part flavorless. . The serving size of the fish was unimpressive, not large not small, but since it was flavorless...who cares. Three of us ordered the fish and chips, but I had to wait an extra 10 minutes for my order. My guess is they forgot to drop the third order, either way it was not worth the wait. Believe it or not, we rode all the way out there (From Lacey, WA} specifically for lunch "The Fish and Chips" based on a recommendation...Here's mine FAILED! The Restaurant in itself is very appealing the decor and layout is really nice. Unfortunately, they seem to keep the heat at a very low setting, so we sat outside to warm up. Went today. We have been several times in the past with much better food. Today I had the Fajita salad. It was so oily. The menu said the tostada bowl w as home made.....not. It was cold and stale. My partner had the burger dip and fries. The aus ju was overly salty and the fires were cooked in too old oil. Too bad for a place that looks good from the outside. read more

So disappointed. My husband and i have patronized the L and M for 10 years. In the last few years there has been a tremendous turnover in staff which has turned our endorsement of the establishment from very good to very poor. Food is OK but customer service is terrible. We wanted to enjoy a warm September late afternoon dinner on their patio and were told there was no service on the patio. Not enough staff. There were maybe 10 people inside wirh 2 servers and a bartender. Ok. Can we sit in the sun and have an adult beverage? "Yeah, but you will have to come back in if you want another order. " Enjoyed the sun and then returned to the bar and ordered dinner. Bartender kept my credit card because "we might jump over the patio wall without paying." We stayed, ate well, but that is the last time we will patronize the establishment. read more

Portion sizes are good but that's about it. Service is terrible. Waited 15 minutes for someone to take our order and there were only 2 other people in the place. The water was so bad i wouldn't let my kids drink it. The kids liked their French toast. My hash browns had no seasoning and my biscuits and gravy were barely warm. read more

Two server/bartenders working in the whole joint on Labor day??? One family who came in after us received their food before our order was even taken! Thank God for the tall blonde waitress, because the other one really didn't seem to care much. Food was average at best. Establishment was far from fancy on the inside. Bathrooms were dirty "middle of the day". To me it seems like this place is mismanaged more than anything. I personally wont be bringing my family back because of the lack of service. Well we went there with some friends cause we're from out of town . I will say the wait staff was friendly and the food was good . But after last night I was shocked ! It was closing time and some girl at the bar started yelling get the f out? Well I come to find out from the locals it was the apprentice new bar manager sitting at the bar yelling this out loud . She was pretty wasted ! I can say that if you treat customers like this or act this way it's not cool . Having a business in a small town where you rely on locals for business and also support there don't act this way . She then came outside to get in the face of a customer put it over the edge . She starts screaming outside at another ladies and then her own security had to pull her away and try to get her to leave ? She may need to take a class on people skills !!! read more

My husband and I have been coming here for years and ordering the same drinks. When the owner started the administrative fee, we almost decided not to ever come back, but now, we will never be back after what happened on 2/16/18. On our last drink order for the afternoon, I received one that tasted only like Diet Coke. I had my husband and other friends at our table try it. They all agreed it tasted like pop. The bartender said she did add alcohol and the owner came over with her "own" straw and tried my drink and claimed there was alcohol in it. She started explaining that because I drink it "tall" there is less alcohol taste in it. Really, did I mention we have been coming here for years. We spend an average of $120 a month here, cash, and the owner was not going to do anything about my $2.50 drink, either replace it or take it off my bill. I guess she doesn't need my money or she is not a very smart business woman. Did I mention I have never complained before about our drinks? One more awful mention is the woman's bathroom that always stinks. You can hear gurgling coming from the grate on the floor. The owner claims it only smells because someone didn't flush or it's raining outside! Why should she care.....she has her own bathroom in the back! read more

I am having a hard time writing this review, not because I love the place, but because there are still a couple good people that work there that I don't want to see suffer because of this. However, this place has gone downhill over the last few years and unfortunately just dove deep this week by letting 3 good people go with no reason. This place USED to be the place to go - it was fun, people would dance and the place would be packed back a few years ago. Not anymore, people went there for the staff, not the food because honestly, it isn't very good. I am not sure anyone should go out of their way to head here unless you are hard up for a late night bar (which if you are, the Spar Pole is open). Great place to dance! I dance my ass off when I am there! Some changes in staff but most bars seem to have a high turn ratio. I mean it is a bar. The menu has so many options and it can be a bit much, but the selection to pick from is great! read more

I went to the L&M Firehouse for a quick bite on my way back to Seattle. First time I have been there and it was just as it looked from the outside. All the décor styled in (as the name says) a firehouse. It was clean and seemed like a good place to grab a bite to eat on the go. The bartender was really nice and seemed to be engaging to the regulars at the bar. She greeted me with a smile as I walked in and seemed very sincere. I asked for a menu and some of the regulars joked with me about it and everyone seemed very nice. It had that you belong feeling and everyone is welcome. I scanned through the menu for something that I could eat while on my drive back to Seattle. I spotted the Rueben amongst the many items on an over populated menu(WOW! There were so many things on the menu that one could get lost on their way to fond something that would interest them). After making my way to the Rueben the bartender asked which fries I would like, hum good question. She informed me of the choices, Curley, seasoned, regular or the fresh cut. I chose the fresh cut. I waited for about 5 minutes and she had my order ready to go for me. She thank me for coming in and was very pleasant about everything. I go to my vehicle and opened my bag, the fries looked great, there was some 1000 Island inside and the Rueben smelled awesome. I ate some fries and dipped them in the 1000 Island (that tasted homemade and phenomenal) as I drove away waiting to hit the highway before I took a bite of my sandwich and once I did, I noticed there wasn't any 1000 Island on it and the Corned beef was really thick and not very flavorful. I was lucky that I hadn't ate all of the 1000 Island with my fries otherwise my Rueben wouldn't have been complete. I pulled over so that I could dress my Rueben on the side of the road and used a fry to do so. No worries it tasted great on the fries. I then looked for some napkins and there weren't any in the bag. I searched around my vehicle and found some in the glove box thank goodness. I then continued my drive to Seattle and enjoyed my Rueben. I would say that I would order it again but I'm not sure if I would have to build it myself again or if the corned beef would be sliced thinner and have a bit more flavor. The fries were great the service was great but the overall experience it could have been a bit more finished. I will go back next time I am in Orting and try something else. we just moved into town and we came to dinner a week ago on saturday, it took us over an hour to get our food and there were only 7 tables of people eating. not busy at all the waitress was very unattentive we had to ffind her to order another round of drinks. i went in the womans bathroom and found it disgustingly dirty i didnt even want to use the restroom, we decided to give it one more shot, we came back this last sunday and they were throwing a seahawk party which the bar looked liked a waalmart selling a bunch of merchandise inside and outside... i find that very odd for a bar to sell a bunch of seahawk gear.... we than sat and waited 20 minutes before a server even approached us. we got up and left. for a small town with minimal bars i am extremely dissapointed in the service we received. we felt that if we werrnt a regular we shouldnt be there, this bar is not welccoming at all to new guests. we will not be returning. read more
