I was pleased when I walked in as it was obviously a clean, popular place, and was greeted by Mary. I splurged for one of the expensive pedicures (treat yourself!) and was sooo glad I did. Fabulous! She was great and even addressed an ingrown nail that plaques me on both big toes. Really impressed!

Unfortunately, in the Charlestown/Westerly area Yelp hasn't really taken off on anything but restaurants, and even that's debatable. So, I finally stumbled on some older reviews on FourSquare and decided to make an appointment with Paula. Paula is great! She's super friendly and makes you feel very comfortable during a situation which could be considered rather awkward. This wasn't my first Brazilian, however I can see how Paula would be great at helping you feel comfortable and walking you through the process if you are debating getting your first. I was also happy to find out that by rebooking (she suggests every 3 weeks) you're entitled to a reduced rate since it's considered maintenance versus a full on Brazilian. (I do enjoy saving money, however I also know not to go cheapo when it comes to Brazilians. My first experience was horrific, but I guess that's what I get for going to a salon that only charges $29...) I've already booked my next appointment with Paula and highly recommend you do the same!

It has an upbeat yet quiet, relaxing vibe. You can immediately tell they use high-quality products and equipment. At other salons, I've had to wait even with an appointment if a walk-in arrived first. Here, despite the salon being busy with at least eight other clients when I arrived, I was seated for my pedicure within 5 minutes. Annie was warm, friendly, and highly professional. She took the time to ask about my feet, explained what needed to be done, and we collaborated on the best approach. I couldn't be more pleased with the outcome! It is obvious that the staff at Nailed It are well-trained professionals who truly have their clients' best interests in mind. I highly recommend them!

I'd definitely come back here to get the perfect and blowout again!

One would think that asking for a manicure without color polish would be an uncomplicated and…read moresimple request. Unfortunately, it is not. Apparently asking for clean cuticles and freshly shaped nails is an odd and unwelcome selection at Nail Icon. Basically ALL of the technicians are rude & unprofessional--to essentially everyone who walks into the establishment. My 20 dollar manicure lasted 6 minutes & 2 seconds. It involved no soaking. No massage. No oil for my cuticles. And, my bonus gift? Three cuticles on different nails were left bloody. Oh, it's THE NO FUN CLUB here. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY. Suki put a base polish and another clear layer on top of that before the initial coat dried. And when I asked them to fix one clunky nail that had too much product at the tip, they suggested I did it. Ummm, how? I remained in the chair and hadn't moved. Just awful.
