This business has been here for twenty years and will probably continue for many more. It is a clean comfortable environment with good spacious seating and services for hair styling and nails. Maria is the owner and takes running her salon seriously. She is often there when I get my hair cut and is overseeing all that goes on there, and cuts hair as well. Michelle, has been my hairdresser for years. I have had a couple of hair styles and color changes, and have been satisfied with each one (Not easy to find someone like that). She is personable, efficient and accommodating. Morgan usually answers the phone, does scheduling and checks you out for payment. She has always been very friendly and accommodating. Bella Vita also has a blow-out salon next door for those special occasions for groups or individuals who want an exceptional look by professionals. Thank you Bella. I came in on Saturday for a blow out at the blow dry bar. Alayna did an awesome job and gave me gorgeous waves! I came in the morning and the waves lasted all day and held up wonderfully in the humidity. Alayna have me exactly what I was looking for and I couldn't be happier with the way it turned out. The staff at this place put me in the basement for refusing to wear a mask. They didn't give me the opportunity to make a decision to leave as they waited until I was in the chair and the stylist had started my service. I had been in the waiting area mask free for 10 minutes and in the chair for five. I left with wet hair. It was an extremely uncomfortable experience. I will never go back. read more

My first visit. Mirella did a great job and will definitely be back It was easy to get an appointment and the price was very reasonable.

Had my hair "cut" by Michelle yesterday for the first time. I asked her to take off 0.25-0.5 inches and showed her what I meant with my fingers... just a little off. She took off over 3 inches!!! I've spent the last year growing my hair out, and she destroyed it in 2 seconds. I say "cut" because she didn't even use scissors. She had me turn around while she took electric clippers and chopped off all my hair! Then showed me all my hair she just took off. She starts claiming that I said I wanted her to cut it all off and that it was dead so it needed to go and she thought I wanted it even shorter than what she chopped off. Just completely making stuff up. She made up an entire conversation in her head. She clearly doesn't listen to what her clients want and just does what she wants. Prior to chopping, I also showed her where I wanted it cut to, but she cut it 3 inches above that and gave me shoulder length hair (never a good look for me). My hair looks hideous. I look hideous. I told her I wanted it angled in the front a little, she asked my about 4 times what I wanted to do to the front. She was just on a different planet and not listening. She says, it'll be longer when we straighten it -- um, not 3 inches longer! I also said, I don't straighten my hair but wear it long and wavy like when I came in. Then she starts trying to sell me on a hair straightener. If you want someone who listens and cares what you want, definitely avoid Michelle. I should have gone to a dog groomer because they're just as skilled at using electric clippers. read more

Bella Vita is a wonderfully warm and professional salon. I was in town for my daughters wedding and they fit my elderly mom in on a busy Saturday. Maria the owner and the girl at the desk were so engaging and helpful as well. I was caught in the rain the night before and Maria knew I was the mother of the bride and without an appt so she asked Kim to come in early to do my hair. Got a haircut and shampoo. The stylist was very quick and seemed to rush through it. As a new client I would have liked a more personable service, but my stylist held conversations with her co-workers and their clients versus me. She was also tougher on my hair than I prefer almost making me say," ouch," as she combed through my hair. Probably won't return unless I'm short on time and only want a cut with no frills. read more

Over the last several years, I have been to Bella Vita a few times. Twice I had terrible experiences that, to their credit, the owner, Maria, and a stylist, Jen, rectified. If you are going to go here, make sure you get Maria, Jen or Mirella. I cannot speak highly at all of the other stylists, as I have had exceedingly bad luck both with style and color. read more
