Update: June 2022. I'm still searching for a great pedi place. It feels like I've been to everyone in the Westerly/Wakefield area. A friend told me she loves Lily's and I never did have a pedi there so I returned. There were three of us and none of us was wowed. We all asked to have the nails clipped short and yet they weren't. The cuticles weren't attended to and the tips of the nails weren't polished! The young man who did mine was unfriendly. I'm sorry if you don't like your job! It's only been a week and a half since they were done and we all are miserable that they look so bad already! Due to the pandemic, there was no back rub. The pedicures were $35 before tip. I had a lemon pedi spa, callus removal, hot stones and foot massage with Sarah. I do not recommend her. She barely pushed back or cut my cuticles. I got about 3-4 scrubs on each foot for the calluses removal, the foot message was very short and only 3-4 runs on each leg with the hot stones. . I called to make an appointment for gel pedicure and dip ombré with design. I asked if they could do it and was told yes. When I got to the salon for my appointment they told me they couldn't do a palm tree. When I selected another image just ombré the nail tech began yelling at the owner. Everyone was yelling at each other. I had 3 people look at the image and only to be told that they don't do that. It became so uncomfortable. I told them no problem to just do the pedi and I would go somewhere else. The pedi was mediocre. Even the color that I chose was not correct but at that time I just wanted to be done with this place. Zero stars. The worst nail salon I've ever been to. I'm not saying that lightly. I came out of there 10 times more stressed than I came in. The male nail tech I had was extremely rude and acted like he was above it all (rolling his eyes, sighing loudly trying to rush through the job). Mind you, I booked an appointment, so they had plenty of notice I was coming in. It wasn't even very busy in there anyways.. so I'm not really seeing why he was so bent about doing his job. He also kept messing up my nails (bumping my wet nails into stuff) and having to redo them which took forever. The attitude would have been unpleasant enough but my gel mani pedi came off 3 days after my appointment. Not minor chipping-- my nail color came clean off. I was livid because I had to go back in to fix it right before leaving for an international flight, making my day even more rushed and stressful. Then 2 hours later, I'm at the airport, and ANOTHER nails paint came clean off, and another chipped. What the !@#$ did I pay all that money for? This has never happened to me by the way. My mani pedis at every other salon last at least 2 weeks. AT LEAST!!! I could have done my own nails and had them last longer for 0$ Needless to say, do not go here! I drove over an hour to go to this salon because my state hadn't opened up since COVID-19. I got a full set of acrylic nails with a matte top coat. Not only was the matte completely nonexistent but TWO nails broke off by the end of the next day, polish had worn off of all of my nails, and the shape was also gone. I've had acrylics for years and years and NEVER had ONE break. In 10 days I had 5 nails break and they told me they could not reimburse me for my $70 acrylic nails with normal polish. This place was super disappointing. I recently moved to the area and was looking for a new place. I had gotten a tip to go to Lynn's nails but this was closer so I thought I'd try it. BIG mistake. I went in for an eyebrow wax and pedicure as I get a lot of calluses and it's been a while and HELLO this is a beach town and I'm in flippies all the dang time. The pedicure was fine. I was hoping they use razors there, but that's harder to find these days.  She did a decent job getting rid of the calluses so there's that. But let me tell you about the eyebrow wax... Appropriately priced at $8 BUT... I have naturally thick eyebrows... Which I really like.  I specifically said, "don't take too much off, just clean them up". I've said this in 1,000 salons, 1,000 times... They always left the fullness and cleaned up around the edges. She left me with these ugly ass SHORT, THIN eyebrows. I politely told her I didn't like them when she was done. She had the nerve to argue that "this is better." No. The. Hell. It's. Not. She then proceeded to point to her own brows and say, "See? Nice!" I repeated that I don't like thin eyebrows. (Didn't like her's either.) Now I gotta wait weeks for my damn eyebrows to grow back. Then after she sat me down under the dryer to dry my toes, she immediately whips out a bill.  I've never had anybody charge me before I was completely done before. So I give her cash and apparently that place gives you an incentive to pay cash, they give you some money back ($1.50).  When she brought me my change she hovered over me until I gave her a tip. Like LITERALLY hovered over me because I was sitting down. I won't be back to this place. I don't want my brows done how YOU like them... I want them done how I LIKE them.  I wonder if I even OWN an eyebrow pencil. Ugh. read more

This was one of the best experiences ive had!I always get my eyebrows done here and today i got my nails done and they are absolutely phenomenal! My nail technician was steve and he was great, lots of welcome small talk and he was very gentle. I brought my mom here and she enjoyed her experience as well! It was a very relaxing experience which started with the acrylics but ended with a hand rub with an exfoliator, oil and lotion with a final soothing shoulder massage. I got a full brand new set with gel polish(Shade 72) for 60 dollars and i couldnt be happier! read more

I'm a VERY picky person when it comes to getting acrylics but let me tell you this place is bomb! I never let a salon use a drill on my natural nails because it's very bad for your nails, and when I said that the lady was very nice and used a file for me instead. They weren't chunky/ uneven at all. Service took about an hour. My manicurist was being very precise with the entire service. The only thing that bothered me was she kept the nail filings/ shavings on until the very end, made my hands feel VERY weird. Anyways I 9/10 suggest this place. read more

I had been faithfully going to Lilly's for both manicures and pedicures and last week- a new man, who I have never seen before was asking another staff how to use the polishing tool to remove gel polish and he continued to use it in a very rough way and broke my pinky nail!! He then began to use the nail file on the same nail and I had to pull my hand away and explain/ yell that he has hurt me again. When I went to go pay I told the owner & explained exactly what happened and thought that she would either apologize and/or attempt to compensate me and she did neither!! Was so looking forward to a relaxing pedicure. It was quick and rushed. It wasn't the worst pedicure I'd ever had or initially thought. A day later I had all these little bumps on my toes. Very disappointed. Previously I ranked this place 4 stars. This was my summer go to spot for manicure, pedicure and chair massage. No more. Today's service was awful. Made appt for mani, pedi & chair massage. Jonathan upsold me on the milk pedicure for $69 including chair massage. The pedicure was a rush job. My feet didn't hit the tub until near the end when I questioned why not soaking in tub. Then water was cold. 15 mins foot massage was legs only. Never even lifted my feet to touch heels. Still have callouses. Massage was supposed to include hot stone but never happened. Polish on my toes didn't fully cover nail bed on several toes. Manicure was okay but no hand massage just arm and used cold water for soak. Unfortunately during the chair massage, he ruined 3 of my nails so had to redo the polish. Focus was on upselling services but never delivered on what I purchased. Go for basic mani and pedi and be done. Don't be fooled into additional things that don't happen. Would've shared my feedback w Manager but she seemed more interested in her own manicure and the other man was outside smoking. So I didn't get what I paid for. read more

Always a great experience. Love Thomas! I've been coming here for well over a year and I've never left unhappy. The owner is always a delight and everyone there is very pleasant. I always get treated so well and I love the massage at the end while I dry. It's such a nice touch that no one else does around here. The prices are very fair for what you get for services and I don't think they're marked up whatsoever. I'm planning a visit for tomorrow to get two pedicures and two massages and I'm so excited! The wax services are always quick and wonderful as well. I've been doing the underarm services for over a year now and I can go 4+ weeks without having to come back. $20 with tip is beyond fair! while I have always enjoyed the pedicures here, my daughter had decided she wanted a full set to which she saved her money up to do so. she brought a reference pic which was a clear pink with a baby pink tip, white and silver glitter design. she asked for acrylic to which he decided to do gel. She asked for long, he cut them down very short. The color ended up being a baby pink on the whole nail, black and barely any silver. The man with the pony tail (didn't catch his name) basically told her no to acrylic, because gel was stronger. Told her no to the length because short would last longer. There's polish all over her skin. That is NOT want she wanted. This place clearly takes advantage of younger clients and still expected the $100 despite my daughter speaking up several times. When I saw them afterwards and complained, they offered a $20 voucher for next time. Lily Nails ruined my daughter's experience, as I said, she saved up!! If your employees can't do the service requested, then get out of them out of the chair to make room for someone who does! read more

My sisters and I just keep coming back to Lily Nail & Spa for our pedicures. They do a great job and my feet and legs always feel amazing when I leave there. The team at Lily are extremely nice and the pedis are so relaxing that I almost fall asleep! I read some negative Yelp reviews about Lily and suggest that you look at all reviews the negative ones have submitted - they either find it too easy to be harsh online or they work for a competitor. The last three pedicures I had chipped in less than 24 hours. I spoke with the owner today who couldn't have cared less. The first time I tried to explain to her that the polish keeps chipping (I have never had a pedicure last less than week other than my experience at Lily's), the owner just looked at me and walked away. Shame on me because I paid for yet another pedicure today, and afterwards I tried to talk to Lily again and she laughed, I mean LAUGHED in my face. Clearly, she doesn't value repeat business and has no understanding of customer service. Don't let her fool you, she speaks perfect English but acts like she doesn't when she doesn't want to deal with you. I 100% recommend this spa! I frequently visit Lily's all the time. Pedicures are about average price. When you go there ask for Tina she's the best! I definitely recommend the pedicures the manicures are ok but pedicures are over the top. Lily's is very clean flowers, and all the pedicure chairs have plastic bags in the bows to keep them clean. I went here once in the past and I loved it but I came back this week and it was absolutely horrible. My nails were rushed and the worker Cherry was extremely rude to me. When I got the massage included with my 30$ gel nails, she didn't even set the timer and clearly didn't even want to be working on me. She also told me how horrible my cuticles were and kept yelling at me to keep my nails in the dryer. When it came to the lotion and exfoliator, she squinted it on my hands and didn't even massage it in, she just rubbed it off for both. First time at Lily's as my regular nail person had a death in the family. Called for an appointment and when I arrived it was packed (rainy day). Yet I was greeted immediately and had a great pedicure and manicure for a reasonable price. Jason was professional, attentive and funny. Let me say first, during a review of Sunshine nails in Westerly Rhode Island. I had stated Lily's Nails had good customer service. I can say now that I jumped to conclusions. They sat my wife right away and started in on her nails when we walked in. After a half hour the employee doing her nails. She had a hard time understanding my wife. Was working on her nails and blatantly ignoring my wife's requests. She did not want her nails to short. She ended up trimming her nails too short. She ended up hurting her finger while filing. She asked the lady at the desk to translate to her what was going on. And instead of telling the lady what she was doing. She blatantly told my wife if she didn't like her nails that she could go somewhere else. It is very sad when we review these places and we cannot find a good nail salon in Westerly Rhode Island. They were charging my wife $50 for a simple fill so please save your money and avoid Lily Nails and Spa they embarrassed my wife with their attitude and unprofessional attack on her. These places need to be held accountable for their bad service and how they treat the customers. read more
