We had the best stay at L'Ancora! You can't beat the views you get and the restaraunt on site was great for breakfast and dinner. We got married on our balcony and it was absolutely perfect! The service was wonderful and the receptionists were all so friendly. Would love to come back!

We made reservations on "Open Table" to find out they don't take reservations unless you are staying at their hotel. Not many seats but it was worth the wait. The view is incredible. The food for us was the best around the Amalfi Coast.

Food: 2 Stars Service: 3 Stars We dined early as it was the weekend and we wanted to skip the crowd. We were immediately seated with an exceptional view overlooking Positano. Watching the sun set was memorable, just wish the food was. Our dishes were pretty mediocre and a little overpriced. I ordered pasta in a simple meat sauce which turned out pretty bland. Wish I had more to say but honestly, the only thing L'Ancora has going for them is the amazing view of Positano...

Delicious for, atmosphere, service and drinks! Positano rocks! This amalfi Coast restaurant is a foodies delight.

The view from our table was amazing! We watched the Positano sunset and the atmosphere was both casual with an upscale flair. Stated with the seafood salad appetizer (highly recommended!!), My husband got the seabream fish (lemon, olives, buttery potatoes) and I got the fried calamari with veggies (very generous portion, but I would probably have gotten something lighter). Midori cocktail and house white wine were so good. Staff was professional and super friendly. Like paradise!

we decided to eat Hotel L'Ancora which had gorgeous views of cliffside. Starting off with a mandatory Aperol Spritz, it was refreshing and set the tone for the meal. Everything we ordered was fresh and thankfully had a good amount of flavor. Positano is more expensive than Sorrento, so the prices resembled American prices, but the food here is underrated compared to other restaurants in Positano

Perfected dishes, wine and excellent service! What more could you want for on an Italian vacation? We ended up over eating but saved our leftovers to indulge later on. If you can, opt to sit closest to the water so you can take in the Positano views.

Beautiful, open & airy spot with incredible views and friendly staff. We came for drinks midday after trekking up the hill and were greeted immediately and had a very helpful waitress who gave us suggestions on local wines to try. The servers all seemed really close and were playing Italian remixes of American pop hits and dancing with each other. The drinks came with potato chips and nuts and although we weren't hungry enough to have a meal the menu was extensive and the food looked really fresh. If anything, come here and grab a drink. Worth it for these views.

Great restaurant with equally amazing views of Positano. Our waiter did an amazing job and our food was out to us quickly and correctly. I'd definitely recommend this place to anyone.

If I could give this hotel 10 stars I would. L'ancora is one of the most gorgeous hotels we have stayed in. Right when we walked in we were greeted by a gentleman by the name of Pasquale. He was very helpful, informative, and even offered to walk us to our room and show us around. The hotel is designed so perfectly and in a unique way. When you enter from the lobby, which by the way has a fantastic view of the gorgeous Positano mountains and the bay, you actually have to go downstairs to go to the rooms. We were on the 3rd floor down. We walked in the room and right away there were stairs. We go by and there was a huge room with a big bathroom with a most amazing view, and when Pasquale opened our balcony door my eyes went all hearts!! The view was magnificent!! I mean how did we get so lucky!! It was incredible. We seriously couldn't get enough. We would watch the sunrise and the sunset right from our balcony. The breakfast was included in our booking, and let me tell you, it was the best way to start our mornings. They had everything from eggs, to fruits, to cheese, to bacon, to omelet, etc. I mean the options were endless. And the location is perfect. We were minutes away from the shore and right in the middle of all the shops. It was the best. The staff is very nice and extremely helpful. We truly left with the most amazing memories. We can't wait to go back.

The restaurant has one of the best views in Positano from the east side which is usually not appreciated as much as the west side. The whole terrace area and tableware is a pastel lover's paradise. The tiramisu was more like a pastry but still good.

Fresh made bread baked in-house came out steaming hot and soft inside . Nocino after dinner digestive finished off the meal.
