The project was rescheduled multiple times due to issues they claimed to have with another job, and communication throughout the entire process was poor and inconsistent. We were often left waiting for updates or clarity on what was happening, and there was a lot of confusion around materials and scheduling. When the work was finally done, it was unfinished and uneven in several areas -- particularly around the trim where surfaces were not smoothed or blended properly. We really tried to be patient and understanding, but the lack of professionalism and accountability made this process frustrating. Would not recommend based on our experience.

We hired George and his team for a full renovation, and the experience was completely different from any contractor we've worked with before. From the start, he approached the project with a clear plan, realistic budgeting, and a structured preconstruction phase that helped us understand exactly what we were getting into before any work began. What stood out most was the level of organization and communication. Every decision was explained, timelines were clear, and we always knew what the next step was. There were no surprises, no guesswork, and no disappearing acts--just steady, professional progress. The craftsmanship was excellent, but more importantly, the process felt controlled and thoughtful from beginning to end. George was on site, involved, and detail-oriented. He treated our home with respect and made sure everything was done the right way, not just the fast way.

Project completed: 7/29/2024…read more Highlight of my project: 1. Satisfied price. 2. Estimated to finish in 3 days by different painters but they actually finished in 2 days and maintained the good quality of work. I seldom write reviews. However, Best Homes Construction's professional services and good quality of work deserve me to take my time to write this review. It is a small business which needs more customers' reviews to support them and reflect their good works. Initially, I had my estimate request to another company but Yelp, automatically, sent the estimate requests to a few other companies as well. Best Homes Construction was one of them. Based on the price, the details shown on the estimate, communication response and the professional manner of the staff I met, I decided to hire Best Homes Construction/Best Homes Painting for my painting project. Response: 1. During this project, Henry always responded to me in a timely and professional manner. 2. The estimate was provided on the same day after the company's visit. Estimate: 1. Before setting up the appointment for the on-site estimate, I was provided a price range. 2. Henry and his staff arrived in uniform on time and with their professional manner. 3. The estimate was emailed in details. It contained the breakdowns of the estimate, forms of payment, daily work hours, etc. 4. The estimate did not include the paint but there're options for customers to choose. The customers could buy the paint themselves or the company can buy for them with an additional service charge. If the customers buy their own paints, the company would provide a list of what is needed. 5. The estimate of my project was out of the price range. However, Henry took initiation to give me a discount to match with the price range. Painters: 1. Rolando and Richard were always in their professional and respectful manner. 2. The quality of their work was great. 3. They took action immediately to meet my request. That's a great customer service. 4. I could tell they have spent so much effort in wrapping up this project. That's beyond the 5 stars. Overall, I was very happy with the result. Thank Henry, Rolando and Richard for the great work and effort! Please keep it up! When I got my receipt, I was told that the company also does floor, bath and kitchen remodeling besides painting. That's very nice to know about it.

We had three different contractors come out to repair the leaks. All of them left us with outrageous bills, threats of litigation, and bathtubs that still leaked. After receiving payment, none of them would honor their "warranties" and come back to fix their deficient work. When I initially found Jon on Yelp, I was skeptical. I decided to give him a chance because I had no other options. They were extremely responsive and were able to come out in a few days. They fixed both leaks and honored their warranties for minor things I noticed after they left. Their prices are very reasonable. Furthermore, they are actually licensed, which is rare for most services that you find on Yelp. Most contractors will present a license, but have unlicensed workers do the actual work to cut costs. They are also extremely trustworthy and I would have them work in my home with no one present. If you have any issues, I highly recommend you contact them. They will not disappoint. As to the negative reviews left by Ryenne and Amy, all I can say is that Things 2 Fix was one of the most responsive contractors I have come across.
