They send you out with the wrong part intentionally to make you come back for the more expensive part you need. Not to mention, in Lakewood, the tax is 10.25%... when you pay with card they add their OWN 10.25% tax ON TOP of the Lakewood city tax to pocket that extra money from you. Not worth the drive, even if you live around the corner. It took me 4 visits to get a license plate frame with text. 1st and 2nd visit I was told machine could only be operated by 1 male employee who does not come in until 3. On 3rd visit I paid for the and told it would be ready next day because guy was not there. I stopped driving there and did it by phone after this. each time same answer, he will be in tomorrow so expect a call to come get it after 3. On last day, I got more runaround. Please make sure to read the reviews before going to this store. I failed to do so and lost over $250 dollars. Went in looking for a steering wheel and the hub for my car. Called the shop asking if they had the parts available and was told that yes they had them. I went to the store later the same day and asked yet again. The guy looked it up and told me that the hub would fit "Fast and Easy". Took the items home and to my surprise it didn't fit. I tried for about an hour to try and fit it but it would not go in. It ended up breaking my steering angle sensor and air bag cables. Went back the next day and asked for a refund which they DONT GIVE REFUNDS surprise surprise. I had asked twice if the part would fit and I was told twice that yes it would fit. The lady told me they only give refunds if the part doesn't fit, which I kept telling her it didn't. The only thing she kept saying was that the paper in the box said it does fit so she cant do anything besides give me store credit. I had a great experience at LA Road Rage at Lakewood center mall! I was shocked to see such negativity on Yelp, but my first time there was contrary to such reviews. I entered this cool store during the holiday shopping season. Which means it was packed and my expectations of customer service were substandard. I was quite shocked to walk into the complete opposite. I was approached and welcomed upon entering, and was immediately asked if I needed help finding something in particular. I was pretty hesitant to inquire about the things I was looking for, given I was judging a book by its cover. The woman whom approached me looked like a makeup artist in her twenties whom possibly knew nothing about cars and nonetheless car parts. So I blatantly rejected her help, and browsed their selection of window wipers. She then approached me again and asked if I had any questions or needed help finding the ones for my car. I really did, and told her I had no idea what size I needed for my car. She asked me the make and model and within seconds I was being handed the wipers for my car. They were two different sizes, as the drivers side and passengers side needed a different size --I had no idea! I felt horrible for being so foolish, as to so ineptly assume something about someone based on appearance. I was very happy and appreciative, and astounded about the great help. Additionally, I browsed some other cool items they had above their display cases. The owner (I'm assuming) watched me browse and pick up a specific lanyard/keychain. It was really nice and of a sports team a relative of mine loves. I thought of purchasing it and inquired about price. I was going to go for it but ended up leaving it behind. My sister spotted a Superman keychain --an awesome one, and the same man saw my positive reaction to this find. He heard me ask her to look for another one for me and my beau (he loves Superman and I wanted us to have matching ones) and he brought us a matching SUPER GIRL one!! He said "Look this one is Pink" I was so in awe, that was very sweet! I was ecstatic about this and graciously took it. It was crystal clear that the employees were very helpful and attentive to their customers' needs and wants. I was happy to see their variety of themes; all sorts of cartoons and popular characters, symbols, sports teams, celebrities ect. I was also happy to see their variety of prices! Very affordable prices, such a plus since car parts and such can get quite pricey. When I decided to head to the checkout counter he noticed I didn't have the lanyard I had wanted to purchase earlier with my final purchase items. He asked if I ended up not wanting it after all and I told him some other time. While getting my change he left and returned with the lanyard. Perplexed, I didn't say anything. He said "You can have it. Merry Christmas!" I felt a rush of feelings, what a kind and selfless thing to do. It may have been just a lanyard, but the thought of such an action meant so much to me. I thanked him, and upon walking out I smiled and felt warm and fuzzy inside, kind of like a game of tag --I felt the need to do something nice for someone. (And I did!) You honestly, truly need to avoid this in place. All of the prior reviews are completely accurate. We ordered a seat cover and they gave us one for a completely different model car. It even said the wrong model on the package label. We feel they did this on purpose because they literally didn't know how to make the correct covers. They even asked us to drop by the manufacturer so they could see our seats. So when we gave the seats as a Christmas gift, they obviously didn't fit We asked for a refund but this store won't give a refund, major red flag here. Instead they now insist that they have figured out how to make the right seat covers. I don't buy it. The cashier went in the back to talk about the issue with the slime ball guy that seems to be a shot caller on most issues but for some reason hid in the back when I insisted on talking to him. The cashier lied and said he was just an employee. BS. This is nothing than a low end crooked retailer that will hopefully go out of business soon. Bought LED headlights with warranty and one light burned out. When I tried to replace it they somehow do not have my info on their computer; not my phone number or name, nothing. Nothing special about this place at all, same stuff you can buy on any auto parts store or Mmazon, they just add a few bucks and lure you into the idea that you can make returns if the product fails. I bought hid light bulb for my scion tc 2 months ago (Jan 2015) and these fuckers said there's warranty on them for 3 months. 2 months later (March 2015) the bulb burns out so I called them and these fuckers said they only do warranty if you get them with the ballast. If that was the case they should've told me that when I first got their light bulb that'll burn out in 2 months. The store sold LED headlights for my car saying they would fit. Turns out it only fit on my high beams since my low beams were HIDs. Went back to exchange the LEDs for a pair of 8K HIDs & only one worked. I went back for the third time to exchange the non working HID bulb & gave me a 6K instead of the 8K I originally bought. I demanded a refund which the owner Shak refused. Poor customer service. I lost time & money in this store. I don't recommend this place. Save yourself the trip & don't come here. read more

Honestly worst place to get anything car related from. Went in to get some LEDs for my veloster and the guy was pretty cool and laid back he gave me some LEDs and assured me they would fit the car. Went home tried them out and they didn't fit, no big deal went back and he exchange them and once AGAIN assured me they would fit the veloster and said I wouldn't have to go go back. Cool. Took them home, opened the box and realized the LEDs he gave me were PREOWNED, even then I tried them on and again wrong LEDs. Went back the next day, a girl helped me out and had no clue what would fit the car, gave her all the car info and said that the LEDs I was given both times weren't even for my car to begin with! After an hr of going back and forth with the car info, the girl said she had found the right ones but they didn't have them in stock. She said she would order them and call me as soon as she had them. 2 weeks later still no call, gave them a call and the guy tells me the LEDs she ordered aren't even made for my car. I tried to buy an HID Harness here and first they gave me the wrong one even though I asked for a certain kind. Then I tried to get an exchange and they told me the one I wanted was out of stock and they were going to order the right one and call me when it gets there. Its been couple weeks now and I haven't gotten the right one yet, even though I called several times. I have the feeling that because they alright got a hold of my money they don't really care. This place is a rip off!!! I bought my husband a set of headlights for his car that cost almost $400. I had them installed and not even a week went by before they started to malfunction. The LED lights started to flicker, the parts inside began to fall off and the halo lights do not work. When I called the owner, they said that it wasn't the lights it was the instillation. I told them no, because it was the inside of the lenses that were the issue. In the long run we are out about 600 bucks for the lights and instillation. Plus have to pay another 120 to have the old lights put back in...never again! read more

Luckily I didn't purchase anything from here and I hope the manager/owner/whoever he is loses his business. You can't argue to a customer over something you THINK you know but you dont. I'm just looking for a shift knob and trying to find the right one for my tc 1. The thread for mine is 12 x 1.25 but the guy insists and even argues that it's 1.5 and that he tried it on before and it fits. He claims toyota and Hondas have the same...I beg to differ being a prior honda owner. And reading off these past reviews about their return policy, the guy is just in it for the money. He needs to shut up and actually read the books because apparently he doesn't know crap about what he's talking about. I bought some LED lights at the store in Stonewood Mall, they gave me the wrong ones, I took them back and they didn't have the ones for my car, so they ordered they and said they would call me when they got them, after 4 days I called and they said they would have them there by 6pm, I went after work and they still didn't have them, they took them to an other store, I went back the next day after work and finally got them. I installed them on Friday and one of them started smoking, I took it out and put the original bulb back, it didn't work, I checked the fuses and they were all okay, then checked the wire, there was no current, I took it to an auto electric shop, they said the wire was burned out, they charged me $140 to fix it. I took back the bulbs to the mall and they said they would only exchange them, I wanted my money back, they said no. So now I'm taking them to court for the bulbs and the bill for the fixing it.
