Well I learned this from Daniel after my rear tires were wearing unevenly. Daniel was able to fit me into that day's appointment schedule and had me on my way in less than a hour of waiting. I received a full report on how my alignment was before and after it was adjusted. Alignment is under warrantee for 90 days but Daniel told me about the 1 and 3 year add-on to that warrantee. At either $49 or $99, it was a no brainer. I opted for the 3 year extended warrantee and will be returning every 2000 miles to get my alignment check up. I made an…read moreappointment as I didn't want to wait and needed it fix quickly (same day) and they were the only reputable shops (one of my mechanics recommended) that had same day availability for an appointment, although they do take walk ins. I didn't want to risk it. Anyway, I take the car in for my appointment and meet Nathan. Professional, efficient, etc. He advised me that patching/plugging a tire is free which I didn't realize. Pleasant surprise! He also let me know about my tire condition for all fours and let me know what replacing two rears would cost (performance tires = replace same side/size at a time). But here's the thing, he provided the info but there wasn't an uncomfortable hard sell. He was professional and comprehensive but at no time did I feel like I was being sweated or pressured. In fact, I remember sitting there thinking, "huh, well heck maybe I'll just buy them here when the time comes!" That's solely because Nathan came at me as a professional, with expertise, a calm composed demeanor, and information (not a pitch). As someone who has worked in the auto industry, including as a senior executive, it was so refreshing to be in a space seeing a young professional with a passion and expertise for his craft. Delivering it in a way that wasn't to aggressively close a deal but foster a relationship that would create a long term commitment to the brand. America's Tire, pay attention! I had been here once before and had a great experience, so when my car's AT light went on…read moreunexpectedly one night I called them first thing the next morning to see if they could get it in. They said they could and gave me a timeline for working on the vehicle that matched my needs. While I appreciate them getting me in on short notice, they consistently over-promised and under-delivered on when they would be able to work on my vehicle. They were able to diagnose a couple of leaks that they thought were the problem and sent me photos to show me what they were looking at. In the past when I've left my car at this shop for work they sent over a detailed estimate before starting the work, but this time I only received the verbal estimate over the phone. I drive an old car, which isn't worth much, and I did let the person know that I wasn't interested in investing more in repairs than the vehicle is worth. As it was, the two leaks were just over $1K to fix, and I OK'd the work to begin. After fixing the first two leaks, they then came back and told me there was a third leak, which would require a more major repair to the transmission and they would have to have their transmission person (who wasn't there that weekend) send me an estimate the next day. While I understand that it's plausible that the third leak wasn't something they could have originally diagnosed, it felt a bit weird that the photo they used to show me the leak was one of the original photos they had sent before starting any work. If the leak was visible in that photo, I'm unclear why they couldn't have diagnosed it earlier. The added cost of this additional repair definitely tips the scales of worth-it/not-worth-it to repair vs replace this car, so I wish I had had all the information before deciding to make the initial repairs. Unfortunately, despite stabilizing the ATF level, fixing the leaks did not resolve the transmission issue. On a smaller scale, they didn't check or top up the tire pressure, which most mechanics I've gone to have done as a courtesy when working on my vehicle. The day after I picked up my car the tire pressure light went on, and when I checked my tires all four of them had low pressure. It's a small thing, but especially when dealing with expensive mechanical items like cars, the small things matter a lot in creating a sense of security and trust with your mechanic. They did mention that they were under new management since the last time I had been in, which may account for the different experiences.

Dr. Wheel is on the lower side of the equation. The other thing, they come to your house. Say what? Got me wondering how solid of a repair we were looking at. Well, once I dug into the process, saw that the work is warranted for a year, I figured I'd give them a shot. First, we had them do two aftermarket wheels which relatively minor damage. The result was pretty incredible. The wheels looked good as new and honestly, I couldn't remember where the blemishes were . Months later the wheels looked great. Today, we got four wheels on my wife's car done, all with curb rash to a varying degree and the result was great. The challenge today wasn't the damage, it actually wasn't super complex or extensive. It was the color. From the factory, the color is pretty unique, but the Dr. Wheel team got it pretty much exactly. A special shout out to Jonathan, who came out to our house twice and did a great job. Friendly, professional, thorough, and just an all around solid dude. Not that I hope to get more curb rash on any of our wheels (nor do I wish that for you!), but if we do, we will definitely go back to them. We've already referred them to a few neighbors.

I had to go back, and in the end, they just refunded me because they couldn't complete the job. After that disappointment, I went online to find another alignment shop and came across Trust Alignment in Long beach. From the moment I spoke with them, I felt reassured. I explained my situation, and they understood right away. They told me to come by, promised to check everything out, and even said they wouldn't charge me if they couldn't fix it. Sure enough, they did the job right and my car has never driven better. The difference is night and day. These guys really live up to their name. Steve was knowledgeable, patient, and very informative when helping me choose the right tint. I especially appreciated how conscientious he was about California tint laws. He explained what would and would not be compliant and helped me get as much privacy as possible on the front driver and passenger windows while staying within the legal requirements. The finished tint looks great, and the front windows are dark enough for the privacy I wanted without going overboard. While I was there, Steve also repaired some curb rash on one of my wheels. It came out great as well. Steve is professional, confident in his work, and clearly takes pride in doing things properly. Excellent workmanship and customer service. I would definitely recommend Elevance and will return in the future.

Off the bat this place is top knotch! I was on the hunt for a solid alarm system for my 04 Subaru Sti. After doing my research online I decided to go with the Viper 5704. On the Viper website they had a list of local certified dealers and PCH Custom Audio was the closest to my house. After reading a few reviews here on yelp I decided to stop by. I was greeted by Tim and Omar they were very helpful and straight to the point. They didn't try selling me extra stuff I didn't need so that made the buying process a lot easier. I left the car at 11:50am and was told to come back around 3pm. Lucky I was in walking distance from my house. Tim did offer me a ride home but I kindly declined because I needed a good walk to get the circulation going lol I showed back up about 30 min till 3 and had a good conversation with Omar about future upgrades that Im planning on making to my car. Installation was done right on time 3pm as promised. George was my installer and his work was on point. Tim walked me through the whole installation and showed me all the new features my new security system had. Over all this shop is great! I appreciate all the help form Tim, Omar and George. Don't be fooled by any positive reviews. they are fake. look at other "pch custom audio" business reviews. when the reviews get too bad, they simply make a new profile and modify the old profile address. If I could give negative stars I would!! I brought all of my purchased gear into the shop for install. I was told it would be done in a day. Instead it took 7 days. The installation was the most unprofessional work I have ever seen. Wires were just twisted and taped together. Amps were just left loose in the truck, free to bounce around. Their idea of building me an amp rack was a couple of sheets of plywood that totally covered all of the fans which caused the amps to thermal out. Here is the best part..... I lost the remote to my alarm, these aholes sold me a brand new alarm system, claiming that they could not replace the key. Like a sucker, I fell for it. The guys are horrible and criminal. They are NOT A.S.E. certified- And they will rob you. They need to be closed down. read more

Hey its me again just wanted to give you yelpers an update. I got a new car and decided to go back to PCH to get some work done on the new ride. Once again this place has delivered. The prices are the best and if you cant afford what you want up front they have a bunch of different financing options that fit your needs. I got a new stereo and window tinting and they took my old subs and amp and rewired them into my new car. I did originally go to the Long Beach location and they did some of the work but i did have to travel to the 2nd location to get the rest completed. not a problem its right down the street! I will be leaving a review on the Wilmington page as well but both locations are great! the sales reps are fantastic! The pricing you cant beat!! And now they do tires!!! I honestly don't know where to start. I have been a long time customer of PCH Custom Audio and I recently came in to purchase a sound system for my 2015 Chevy Camaro. This is the first "nice car" that i have ever had and I wanted to make this one count lol. I was greeted by Robert who has been my salesman for years. PCH Customs and audio is a great place to get your car customized. I got installed four new items in my 2000 Mustang GT: four interior speakers, subwoofer, deck, and new alarm system. All for a great price that i could not resist. Also the customer service at the shop was great as well. Im a freshman in Cal State Long beach, and as a graduation gift my dad bought me a Mercedes Benz slk, so obviously I was afraid of having any one touch my car, but when I walked in Andrew and Robert were very assuring that my tint would come out great and no kidding the tint came out great, I even got a student discount.(THATS SUPER COOL) And yesterday we brought in my dads Dodge, and they made some suggestions and diffrent price range and left up to my dad decide what he wanted. Had my truck windows tinted and sound system upgraded here and am very please with the quality of the work. Had a custom box built for the back of my truck and it turned out a lot better than I expected it would. Definitely recommend this place for any body in the market for a quality sound system for a great price. Customer service is awesome. I have a 2010 Dodge charger and i was looking for a full system for my car but i was kind of worried on who is working on my car since it is my first car and it is like brand new. I shopped around at differnt stereo shops in Lakewood and Norwalk but i didnt find the variety and the helpful crue like i found at Pch custom audio . I needed them to diagnose why my car radio wasn't working. Tim, the supervisor there, informed me the problem was my radios face itself. He did not charge me for this diagnostic, however, he offered me a great deal on a new radio, sub, and amp. He had his technician George hook it all up in a timely and professional manner, and assured me I will be taken care of if any issue arises, or if I need anything else in the future. My husband took the car there to installed the audio, it come with cd player, and a navigator, bluetooth and now the system still running perfectly good. The system are touch screen, very advance than any of the car that I have and it comes with the remote control and I enjoyed very much. My friend got it in another place and got just a little better deal but his system no longer working properly. I am the owner of an Infiniti FX35 and got a Kicker subwoofer and mono amp for my car to replace my stock sub. I already purchased a really nice unit and wiring harness for it and asked them if they could wire it up for me. The whole ordeal took about two hours and they called me when it was done. I'd like to start off by saying Tim is a lying piece of shit, he is your best friend before a transaction, and as soon as something goes wrong he wants to charge you more to fix the problem instead of just fixing they're mistakes in the first place. When I drove up these guys helped me right away!! I needed HID lights installed and I didn't want to spend a lot of money. They went over with me there best products and kept the cost low. I even removed the back seats and panels. I have all the audio and wire kit already, so just running the speaker wire and power to the front. Now he comes out with $1,000!
