This place is the WORST! DO NOT GO HERE FOR ANYTHING! I had an issue with my truck alarm system. It would go off inadvertently. I had Magic Auto look at it. My camper shell has a switch connected to the alarm. The guy who was checking it out said the switch was bent. So he got some needle nose pliers and attempted to bend it straight. After messing with it for a few minutes, he said that should fix it. HE CHARGED ME $40.00 for messing with it for 7 minutes. AND HE DIDN'T FIX IT!!! I took my truck to SHELBY'S AUTO at Bixby and Cherry and for $10.00 SHELBY'S installed and new switch. And now it my alarm works GREAT! ONCE AGAIN, DO NOT GO MAGIC AUTO. Customer service is non-existent. After I replaced 2 LED headlight bulbs and 2 LED fog bulbs, they were installed and working well. However, a year later, when my car's front bumper was removed and repainted at a body shop, the technician there mistakenly reinstalled one of the LED fog bulbs incorrectly. I only noticed the issue a week later, initially thinking the LED bulb had burnt out. Upon returning to the original installation shop, Magic Sound, they quickly identified and corrected the misaligned LED bulb in less than 5 minutes. Surprisingly, they charged me $30.00 for the labor, which left me feeling the owner prioritized profit over customer satisfaction. Consequently, I can no longer recommend their services to friends. read more

Went in to have a front and rear Nextbase dash cam installed. Took my own cameras and wiring kit. $160 for the install (fuse tap and running cables). A bit pricy, but I do have a Mercedes wagon so I could understand the extra labor for the extra hatch panel that needed to be removed to properly run the cables. I never indicated where i wanted the front cam to be positioned, which is my own fault, but I thought they would at least ask me before they started the installation. It's a touchscreen dash cam, and they positioned it right behind my rear view mirror on the driver side. I can't access it without having to turn the mirror completely out of the way, and they didn't leave enough slack in the power cable to reposition the mount lower or to the passenger side. The power cable to the dash cam was also not connected all the way when i got my car back, so the cam unit died while I was sitting in the parking lot getting ready to leave. I can appreciate the tight install, but a few millimeters of slack would have prevented the power cable from being tugged out due to being so tightly installed. I now have to check to ensure that the cable hasn't been pulled out every time I get in the car. Finally, my A Pillar panel is now loose and doesn't sit flush like it did before i had the cams installed, so I'm thinking that one or two of the clips were broken in the process. I know that it could sit flush because when I push on it, it's where it needs to be, and I don't think the cables are thick enough to cause the permanent displacement that's happened. Not a huge deal, but it's the attention to details that make the big difference. I'll take my car back this weekend to see if they can fix some of the issues, but based on the high price of install, I shouldn't have these discrepancies to begin with. I was going to get a complete sound system (head unit, adapter kits, 4 speakers, a sub, and a 5 channel amp), and even inquired about it while I was there prior to my car being finished. However, given the lack of attention to the small details of the dash cam install, I don't trust that my vehicle would get immaculate results for the price I'd be paying. I really wanted this install to be awesome, and I wouldn't have had any issues with the $160 cost if it was, as Eddie (owner) is very friendly and knowledgeable. But the high cost and discrepancies is why I'm giving this a 3-star review instead of 4. read more

02/08/18 I called and asked how long the wait time is to get my windows tinted, told him make/model of my car. Arrived at MAS at noon, picked my tint (got the darkest one), reasonable price, given I had called a week prior and was given a quote of $160 but the darkest shade for that price was only 20%, it wasn't dark enough for me .. Job was done within an hr, he informed me that there are still water spots but it would cure and be gone within a few days. Overall, wonderful customer service, reasonable prices and awesome on timeframe. My family has been coming here for years and we will still always recommend this place. Kudos. I was referred to this shop by Boulevard Cadillac service department. I spoke with Eddie and Jay who helped me with installing my tint. They were closing but they didn't mind staying late. They had 3 people working on it and finished it a half hour!!! Very pleased and they had reasonable prices! I had them install a reverse camera that I bought to put on my F150. They charged me 120.00 to install the product I already purchased. I am assuming they charged me 2 hours at 60.00 am hour. It actually only took him about 1 hour and 15 mins. Went to get my windows tinted, bought a new stereo and purchased some speakers and had them instal them along with new wiring of course. They left my car in such bad shape. Worst than ever. Literally my sunroof no longer worked. My entire dash lights don't turn on. Everything worked fine prior to getting my car worked on here. I'll never be back, considering that I paid 800+ for everything, they even left my radio out of place here are pictures of my stereo, this happened within a few days of having it installed. Don't shop here, go elsewhere you will regret paying them for their lame service. My pictures prove how bad their instal was. Smh imagine paying over $800 and having your stereo this way. Ridiculous. They used tape, bags with air and they did not use the proper steroid gram/support. As you can see my picture do not lie. I even went back the same day a few hours after picking my car up, and they denied messing anything up, I was in disbelief. I told them they wired something wrong or tapped into a wire they weren't suppose to, I'm not a pro but even I knew they did. I'll let my pictures do the talking. I don't even know how they're in business. I even asked for a refund and they said no to that as well, wasn't surprised. read more

This review is based on our 2 visits and application of our tint. On our first visit for a tint quote, Eddie (Eddy?) immediately attended us and was very nice. On our second visit, though we were not immediately attended to and I had to eventually ask for assistance the 2 guys were helpful and nice. So far my tint looks great and seems to be curing properly, but I haven't put my windows down yet. I will update if there are any issues. Price for my hatchback is a little high (which is equivalent to other places) but the quote for our other vehicle was right on. We plan to return in a couple weeks for tint on my husband's truck. PSA do NOT park in the pet store parking or that woman will come out screaming at you....we saw her do that to someone while we were there. read more

I would not recommend this place due to a lack of customer service and transparency on pricing. Called in about a week before the job to get my car tinted. I wanted ceramic tint all around and whoever picked up, quoted $450. Which is about the average when I put in a quote estimate with other shops through Yelp. Scheduled a day and brought my car in. When it was time to pay, I handed my card and received the receipt. The bill came out to $650. When asked for the price discrepancy, they told me it was more difficult for my car, even though I gave them my make and model over the phone for the quote a week before. And if it was true that it was more difficult they should have disclosed that to me before doing the job and charging me, so I can make a decision. I asked if they could honor the price they quoted me at, and they stood there and laughed at me. So I asked if they could just refund me and remove the tint, they said no refund, and that it would cost another $120 to remove it. It's really unfortunate because this place is highly rated and that's why I came in, but then again those reviews are from years ago. What sucks even more is that there are tiny bubbles all over the tint they applied and dirt under it. There need to make a quick buck at the expense of their customers is more their priority. This place is a no-go for me. read more

A guy at the HONDA DEALER in Signal Hill suggested I go here to get a new radio/head unit installed, so I did. I talked to this guy named Edwin (he goes by Eddie, he's probably the nicest, most chill dude there. If you go, ask for him) and he gave me the best deal and told me about all my options and helped me pick out the one I wanted. Ended up with a nice Pioneer head unit and got my center bottom console in my 2004 accord taken out and replaced with their adapter box and the head unit. All in all it costed about $200 to get it installed. Sounds great! The job was well done and everything works really well. The funny part is, he left the company's phone in my car! Good thing I caught it before I left! I highly recommend this shop for any audio installation you may need. I'll probably come back here for a tint service and a new alarm system. Window tint. That's what this is about... not magic, not sound, just tint. I've had 4 (or 5?) different vehicles tinted here. It appears they use a good quality brand of film (tint) because I've not had any problems with tint coming loose or fading, even on the first car they did a some years ago. The guys helping me have always been knowledgeable and helpful. No complaints. Great installation job too. Clean install, no bubbles, the tint right to the edge of the glass the way it should be. Nice! I think the prices are reasonable and they generally get the install done in a couple hours. The next car that shows up needing window tint, will come here post haste. read more

I paid $1,100 for a deck, speakers and install. It sounded worse than the factory install. They ran power next to RCA and used very low quality wiring kit (power cable looked like speaker wire). I took it to a different shop where they immediately pointed out several problems with the install. Left the other shop and it finally sounds great. read more
