Left after tinting my brand new Lexus NX with BMA and was happy, have used them before. However, after returning to my car after a few days noticed that they damaged my interior panel. I came in yesterday and was greeted by Robert. Really knowledgeable and showed us examples of heat penetration with different tint examples/percentages. We went with the 3M color stable at 35% for all windows except the front windshield. Recommended that for both safety and style. Also, with 3M tint it's a lifetime warranty. Finally, after searching for a place to tint my car I found the perfect place. I called different locations and kept getting quotes that were either the same or even higher than this location but for cheap tint. I wanted a good quality film since the tint will stay on the car for many years. At BMA you are going to be paying for a high-quality film, which is 3M, for the same or even cheaper than other locations. Not only did they have high-quality tint but they were also friendly and helpful. Greeted upon entry and was helped to pick which tint shade they would recommend, after choosing 3M Ceramic IR. The process took around 2-3 hours, but I can assure you that they take their time to make it perfect. After getting ceramic tint, my car will be ready for California's hot summer. Now my car just needs a wash! (If you stay there for the process you might end up leaving listening to K-Pop ) read more

I live outside of Long Beach but figured it was worth the drive, and I was absolutely right. The service provided by Matt and Mike was amazing. They were very professional and helpful when it came to picking the perfect tint. We landed on 3M Ceramic IR 25%. They were quick, diligent and proficient with their work. I purchased the ceramic tint from 3M. I came here because of the high yelp rating of 5 stars and a 3M authorize dealer was also reassuring. So, I was expecting nothing but the best but when I came back for a touch up, the workers had excuses and told me the work will not be "perfect". If I would have known that I was getting a poor workmanship on my tint, then I would have gone somewhere else. The fact that they told me that was very unprofessional, and the film had imperfection in them as well. This place isn't a 5-star facility anymore. Come here if you don't care about your vehicle or if you don't mind that they don't do a perfect job. Otherwise, take your business elsewhere. read more

Great service. I called and spoke with a representative about getting my Crossover SUV tinted all around and she set my appointment and sent a text for confirmation in a timely manner. I showed up and they were nice and got the job was done fast. The tint 5% 3M tint looks great are my vehicle thus far. My only small complaint is the rear window could been down with a neater cut. Tints are done in the inside so it's only visible when the back is open. With that said overall again great service. I'll do business with them again in the future if needed. read more

Established in 2004.

I've been in the window tint industry since the mid/late 80s. When I was younger, I used to help my brother prepare before applying the tint. After a few years of practice, I decided to take on the tinting business myself. In the year of 2000, I finally opened my own shop; Due to unfortunate events, I had no choice but to close in 2004.I then decided to continue to window tint, but mobile. A few years later, I then took over a shop and made it my very own, and updated it with more advanced technology, the best quality film, newly reconstructed shop, and advanced computer cuts. Till this day, my shop still remains in the heart of Long Beach.

I've always had an interest in cars. Having my older brother introduce me to window tinting, has led me to open my own window tint business. I have been doing this for quite some time now, and learned to perfect my skills over time.

BAIT AND SWITCH WARNING: Predatory Pricing & Legal Violations…read more I love to support local small businesses, but not the 'Bait and Switch' I experienced here. I have a written email quote from Precision Tint explicitly stating: 'you're looking at about 699.00 total' for ceramic tint and removal. Despite this written agreement, the shop manually entered a $900.00 'Custom Amount' plus tax on my receipt, totaling $983.25. This is a blatant violation of California Business and Professions Code § 9884.9, which prohibits charging a penny over a written estimate without a new, signed authorization. It is also a violation of the Consumer Legal Remedies Act (Civil Code § 1770) regarding deceptive 'Bait and Switch' pricing. Charging nearly $1,000 for window tint on a small 4-door car is ridiculous. There is nothing 'prestige' or luxury about this service that justifies a 40% markup over their own written quote. The shop ignored three separate formal attempts to resolve this billing error. Formal complaints have been filed with appropriate entities. Hopefully, this saves others the headache of being overcharged. Shady business practices, please avoid. Scheduling was easy, and I was able to get an appointment the following Saturday morning. I dropped off my car and took a walk to a nearby café to have breakfast while they worked on it. They also have a nice air-conditioned waiting room if you prefer to wait on-site. I returned about 90 minutes later, and waited while they finished up. I take great care of the car, but every time they're done with it, it looks better than day one off the dealer floor. Steve informed me that the PPF and ceramic coating was in great shape. He also educated me that the ceramic coating on the hood wears faster than the rest of the car. They re-coated the hood for no extra charge. What service! Again, I left Elevance very happy with my initial choice to have them apply everything and returning annually for their customer only inspection and detail service. Steve and his staff are extremely professional and friendly. If you need PPF, wrapping, ceramic coating, or window tint, check out my previous reviews and go with Elevance!

However, the more I continue to see all the errors and defects on my vehicle the more dissatisfied I feel about the results. There are multiple areas crinkling and bunched up, even right after my wrap and more so now down the line. My biggest issue that has been on my mind to this day is that my cars mileage increased 30 miles from when I initially dropped it off. I brought this issue up to Steve and he explained it's because they did my wheels, the body work, and test drove it but thirty miles is excessive in my opinion. One of his workers I feel definitely took my car for a joy ride and perhaps Steve is covering for them. The mileage doesn't bother me, it's the negligence, irresponsibility, and disrespect for my property of whoever drove my car. Again, Steve has been responsive since day one but his staff (who worked on my vehicle) on the other hand fell very short of the quality and expectations his shop seems to give out through their platforms. I feel like I was one in the hundreds of people who had a really bad job done. No one is perfect and I'm just that one mistake of a customer, unfortunately. I have a written email quote from Precision Tint explicitly stating: 'you're looking at about 699.00 total' for ceramic tint and removal. Despite this written agreement, the shop manually entered a $900.00 'Custom Amount' plus tax on my receipt, totaling $983.25. This is a blatant violation of California Business and Professions Code § 9884.9, which prohibits charging a penny over a written estimate without a new, signed authorization. It is also a violation of the Consumer Legal Remedies Act (Civil Code § 1770) regarding deceptive 'Bait and Switch' pricing. Charging nearly $1,000 for window tint on a small 4-door car is ridiculous. There is nothing 'prestige' or luxury about this service that justifies a 40% markup over their own written quote. The shop ignored three separate formal attempts to resolve this billing error. Formal complaints have been filed with appropriate entities. Hopefully, this saves others the headache of being overcharged. Shady business practices, please avoid. If you choose to do business here make sure to do so, at your own risk, as everyone's experiences may vary.

Humble and hard working. I purchased my vehicle from a Lexus dealership and 2 days later all the speakers go out. I ended up taking it back to them and they refused to assist since they said the vehicle was wired with after market wiring and they will not work with that. I was willing to pay whatever price. I hated my vehicle after that and regretted my purchase, but my father recommended me to check this place out. Skeptical at first, but I gave it a shot and let me say this was the best decision ever. One of the most pleasant and professional businesses I have went to. Although I was late to my appointment, Robert still helped me out with the removal and install of my four windows plus the rear windshield. The time and effort he puts into his work was amazing ! Nothing that I was used to seeing (being that I have went to a tint shop before). Towards the end of the job, I asked to get the front windshield tint removed (being that it was a hassle for me to drive with the glare) and for a strip to be placed so that I am not blinded by the sun, which Robert had no problem completing for me. It took less time than I thought for the entire process to be completed and violà, my "baby" looks outstanding and I feel like a brand new person in that driver seat! I've been so busy with work and I promised a review so here it is. I got my windows tinted about a month ago and I was trying to get my new 2019 Subaru Crosstrek tinted before my 4 day weekend and every shop around was booked with appointments. When reaching out to inquire about prices and availability, Ashley was super prompt and clear with her communication. I was also impressed by all of the photo's of previous client examples. Ashley and Matthew were on time and walked me through the process and we discussed the different options for tint. We selected the ceramic film and applied it to all of the windows except the windshield, at varied levels of transparency, so that the overall end result (given the partial factory tint) would be consistent all the way around. BMA is probably one of the best tint shops I know around. My car previously had a tint done to it but honestly, it wasn't that good and it was cracking, super cheap job done in DTLA. I came to just get a quote but after having the owner show me all the options and varieties he has, I decided to do it right away. The ceramic option convinced me right away and now that I have it in my car I can completely agree that it cools down the temperature of my car. I have leather seats so I'm always concerned that they'll crack because of the sun and heat but now my car is always nice and cool. Quick and super clean job. The shop itself is SUPER CLEAN. I took my son Chevy Silverado Crew Cab Got 3M Limo tint my sons truck looked so great, that I'm bringing my Suburban to get re-tinted. If you want to get your car tinted come to this place. They tinted all my car and it came out excellent. There service was great.Right when you come in they great you and let you know how long it will take. That way you can decide to wait or come back later to pick up your finished car .
