I contacted them via email, and they provided me with a quote and with great communication about the products they offer. When you get your tints here, you get your choice of XPEL tints. I went with the XPEL XR ceramic films, which are top of class films that reflect a high percentage of infrared and UV light. (Note: they also have an XPEL XR PLUS film that offers even more superior light/heat reflection). The main thing is that this translates into cooler interiors during the summer. The team at Evo Studios was very detail oriented, they had excellent communication, they had fair pricing, and they use top-of-class XPEL products that come with a lifetime guarantee. In addition to tints, they also offer ceramic coating and paint protection films. After consideration, I did put PPF on my front headlights to protect them from the corrosion that happens naturally after a few years. However, once the service was done I noticed this crack in my windshield. When I asked the lady that worked there what happened she said it was already there. NEGATIVE! I told them when we went over the imperfections there was no crack or else it would've been stated. The crack is extremely noticeable and wasn't there prior. They "checked the cameras" and couldn't prove it was there before. I spoke to the owner who said he would get back to me as soon as possible to resolve this issue, it's been 2 weeks and no response still. I get accidents happen but unfortunately, the owner never followed up with me. I expected better communication and accountability, especially after damage was caused to my vehicle while it was in their care. Mistakes can happen, but what matters is how a business handles them afterward. In this situation, I felt completely ignored and left to deal with the damage on my own. I would strongly recommend considering other options if you're looking for a shop that stands behind its work and takes responsibility when something goes wrong UPDATE: it looks like the windshield was previously cracked & we did not know. He was professional, responsive, patient with my questions and made sure I was kept informed from beginning to end. That level of communication made me feel very comfortable trusting the team with my new vehicle. The team did a great job with the Paint Protection Film (PPF) installation. I was especially impressed with how Brian handled a warranty clarification afterward. There was some initial confusion regarding the warranty term however Brian addressed it promptly, provided an updated receipt confirming the correct 12-year PPF warranty, and gave me written confirmation of their 12-year workmanship coverage for installation-related issues such as edge lifting, contamination and bubbles. I really appreciated the accountability and willingness to stand behind their work. When you're investing in protecting a new vehicle, the quality of the installation matters, but so does knowing the company will be there if you need them afterward. Great workmanship, strong communication, and excellent customer service from Brian and the entire OC Tint Solutions team.
